I have been off and on with this vet as they are the closest to me depending on who you see. But they are the worst for greed more so than other vet practices. Always trying to get another consultation and in my opinion trying to get you to agree to other procedures. Our pets deserve so much more than this money grabbing practice

The overnight emergency vet promoted on this vets website are truley awful. My advice is Avoid at all costs. They had my cat for about 8 hours. Ran tests and x- rays etc then called me at 7.30 am to tell me thier recomendation was euthenasia and using the words it would be "kinder" if I didn't wait to get there. A 20/30 min drive !!! This was emotional blackmail by them to bump up the bill. I trusted them with my beloved companion and am left with the pain of feeling I was wrong to do this. I have complained to their complaints dept but don't expect a fair outcome esp as they are dealing with a high number of complaints . Several tests an emergency overnight stay and over £2000 bill and they have not been able to tell me why they wanted me to say yes to euthenasia so quickly. Clinical notes are not helpful. What kind of vet stops you from seeing your pet to say goodbye if that is what is truley needed ????? I now have many boubts about the diagnosis and treatment they gave at VetsNow. Mavenvets should be worried about the association they have with VetsNow. An absolutely devastating experience 😢

Have been using maven vets for nearly 20 years . At present I still have 2 senior dogs 19 and 16 years old. The services from the reception now are useless and hopeless. All good and efficient staff had left . I asked for a return call few weeks ago and still waiting…

They have looked after our cats for over 10 years. I will say that there have been some ups and downs but generally overall they have been excellent. Sophie, our oldest cat has IBS and has Kidney disease but is still doing well thanks to Maven! I would like to give a shout out to Sheldon (who keeps Sophie's food coming), Kate (vet) who recently cared for Sophie recently extremely well. Also Mike (The English vet and (former)co owner who is an excellent vet and first diagnosed Sophie's IBS.

Truly awful experience.
We have used this vet on 3 occasions with our puppy. There were 2 poor clinical experiences and 1 admin error.
On the first visit he was given an incompatible vaccine despite calling and checking the vaccine brand prior to the appointment. We were then charged for flea/worm treatment even though we were paying into their own health plan.
The third visit was for his castration where by he had the most horrendous post op bleeding and needed an ultrasound with an overnight stay. Clearly something went wrong post op but rather than admit this there were extensive blood tests and all sorts of excuses rather than any sort of honest openness. At 6 months of age following the castration he was discharged on Gabepentin ( which we did not give him). Vaccines and castration are the most basic bread and butter for any vet and if you can’t get this right there really is no hope. We have left this vets as we do not trust their clinical judgement.
