My twins experience with Mathstutors has been excellent. Great feedback, great support and most importantly there grades have improved. I would recommend Mathstutors to any parents looking to increase their child's maths grades.

My daughter has been with these guys for just under a year and I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Alicia and Kevin (my daughter's tutors) are friendly, informative, effective, patient and calm. My daughter is a considered and quiet teenager who has a recognised processing delay, so I was initially a little worried that the group format and online work would be too much and not work for her. I couldn't have been more wrong. The tutors bespoke their approach accordingly and are infinitely patient. They also give fantastic feedback to help us help her outside of tutor too. My daughter has improved her grades and most importantly has grown in confidence and ability as well as enjoying attending the sessions... I cannot ask for anything more and I'm so pleased.

We decided to sign up and had the initial block free of charge and then have continued with a further 2 blocks so far.
My son suits the very small group size with some 1-1 time within the session. My son has Pawel as a tutor but has had a couple of sessions with Osian and both are engaging, clear and supportive. My son has ADHD and so we changed a few sessions due to him not having a good day and this was easy to do and another session offered in the same week. Communication with the tutors and admin is fab.
So far my son has improved his knowledge and confidence and this will definitely have a positive impact on his GCSE results next year.

This tutoring has given my daughter so much confidence and her grade in maths has gone up from a 2 to a high 4 in such a short time. Even her school maths teacher is so impressed with her. Thank you x

Math Tutors offer an amazing and complete support package for GCSE. I used them for my oldest son who got a very strong 8 as a result. I am now using them for my youngest son who achieved 84% in his last mocks.
Marlon has tutored both of them and he is amazing, reliable and super helpful and approachable.
They have a unique system that covers the whole curriculum so nothing is missed out. The student does a test at the beginning of each module, then gets taught all the content for six weeks and then does the same test again. This allows both the student and the parent to see real progress and makes the student gain confidence along the way.
The 6 week free offer is genuine. You pay upfront for six lessons. If you decided not to continue they will refund you. If you decide to continue they discount the rest of the lessons with the amount you paid upfront.
I could not recommend them highly enough and both my boys attend every lesson and enjoys it. Thank you and especially Marlon 🤩

Alicia has been a great tutor for our son. The small relaxed sessions have meant he has been keen to learn more and boost his confidence in preparation for GCSEs 🙂

This is a great service. I liked the two-way interview on joining which allowed my son to be paired up with a tutor who was an excellent choice for him. Oisín McCaffery McManus’s academic qualifications are highly impressive and being a young man meant that my son could relate really well to him which in turn made him want to impress Oisín by working hard and concentrating. Oisín is adept at making the lessons both educational and having a little time for a catch-up at the beginning and some fun at the end. What also works well is the small group size and individual ’rooms’ for one-to-one provision or concentrating. The worksheets are relevant and well organised and other than some teething issues at the very beginning caused by our outdated laptop, every session has been exactly on-time for the exact amount of time. I don’t think that this is an expensive service for close to one-to-one tutoring, the feedback has been encouraging and personal to my son and I’m sure that the results will follow .

I\ve just spent over an hour on an initial call with a very good sales person, so convincing! However at the end of the call they demanded £180 upfront for the maths tutoring which would be refunded after 6 weeks, which is very misleading as it says it is for free, this in not true, do not be sucked in by this!!

I can honestly say our Daughter has had the best experience with Mathstutors.
She had a rocky maths journey with Covid and trouble at senior school. We changed schools and started her tutoring and they have been amazing with her. So supportive, encouraging and have helped her so much.
I couldn’t recommend them more. If your child struggles with Maths they are the people to talk to.

Yesterday my daughter said to me “I’m actually looking forward to the maths exam, now I get it I think maths is so much easier”. That’s down to MathsTutors.online because without their tutoring I don’t think we’d be approaching GCSE maths with quite the same anticipation. Started tutoring a year ago at grade 2 level now hoping for a grade 5. Whatever the result, the maths tutoring has been a huge confidence boost! Highly recommend!

I was incredibly shocked to see bad reviews for this company. They have been nothing short of amazing for my family! My son has been tutored for the last two years and his progress has been incredible. This stubborn teenage boy was absolutely not going to be tutored under any circumstances but following an informal video chat with them, he said he would try it. The first session over, I waited with bated breath for his reaction......he was buzzing! He loved the session and hasn't looked back. He has had two tutors over the last two years, so the consistency has been fantastic, Every session he comes out happy and his grades have improved significantly. Communication has always been good for me as a parent too. I paid for a year upfront this year as it was so much cheaper and I knew from already having been with them for a year that my son would want to stay with them. I have recommended them to my sister and two friends who have signed up and are equally as happy. Great service, cool fun tutors who can relate to the students and great value.

I can honestly not thank you enough for everything you have done for my 15 year old, my son was working way below passing his GCSEs, had no confidence in maths and wasn't getting the help he needed in school, since his sessions with you guys he has come on massively! He is so much more confident which had been recognised by school, in fact he is helping in others in class he's that confident, he is well on his way to passing his GCSEs and non of this would of been possible without your help, pawel is such a great tutor, if your child is struggling with maths in school and as a parent you are worried my advice is to speak to these guys and book your child in, I noticed the difference straight away, my son is so much happier knowing he now has the skills and knowledge ready for his GCSEs, I can't thank you enough x

I had an initial call with a tutor. She was welcoming and polite at first.
When I expressed unease about upfront payments do 6 weeks, I wouldn’t be funding the tutoring it was a family member and they also felt uneasy.
The tutor offered to call my family member and pitch their business to them which I declined. I said I have other avenues in searching and she asked me ‘why bother jumping on this call if I had other options’ when their ethos is ‘we will see what fits best weather it’s us or someone else’
The tutor became confrontational when I said I just hadn’t got a chance to speak with my other options as of yet.
Also during the conversation the tutor attempted to use tactics in that ‘well *child* felt this would be a good fit as she rated it a 8/10 suitability, didn’t you *childs name*

Very unprofessional and would not recommend at all!!

They ask for a deposit for the 6 weeks ‘free’ so not free. The other reviews on here put me off taking it further so I can’t comment on the teaching. Very misleading adverts though. Also they charge £29 an hour for group or 1:1 which is very strange. Why would you pay £29 for a group lesson when you can get 1:1 for the same price?

I’ve always struggled with maths and it’s been my weakest subject, but since starting lessons with Marlon, my grades have improved so much. I’ve gone from getting 3s and 4s to now getting 6s and 7s.Marlon is really helpful and patient,and he always makes sure you understand everything before moving on. The tutors use seperate breakrooms on Google Meet, which makes it easier to get individual help when you need it, especially if u prefer not to work in groups. The sessions are never tiring and we cover lots of topics that sometimes aren’t taught properly in school. Everyone is super supportive and helpful, and i would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to improve in maths

DO NOT PUT YOUR CHILD THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! Most awful company, just want to take your money then not respond after having to cancel due to them not listening to what my vulnerable child needed and now have taken full advantage of her.
We requested 1-1 no groups, female tutor, no camera having to be on if she was not comfortable.
What we got! Group session being forced to have the camera on. Which equalled my daughter in tears and in a worse place than when we started.
They lie, you do not get a refund! This is not a trial! They take your money then not respond.
Now I will need to go through the courts to get my refund as they will not be keeping my money for such an utter disgrace if a joke.

Misleading refund terms and poor customer service

Signed up for what was advertised as "6 free sessions" with a deposit that would be refunded if my son attended all sessions punctually, which he did.

After completing the course, I was told the deposit couldn't be refunded due to additional conditions buried in terms and conditions that were only linked on an invoice sent after payment, not disclosed at sign up. These included requirements for written testimonials, feedback forms, and other obligations that were never mentioned when we enrolled.

When I pointed out these terms weren't properly disclosed under consumer law, the company refused to engage meaningfully and simply referred back to their hidden terms.

The tutoring itself was actually really good, but the misleading marketing around "free sessions" and the refusal to honour the original agreement is unacceptable.

Avoid if you're considering their "free trial" offer.
