No service what so ever
I ordered some goods shown as in stock in the webshop (orders WEB6080851 and WEB6080849) 3 weeks ago. Status now shows they are in "re-order". I have send several mails to get an estimated date of delivery, none of them have been answered. Bad service is an understatement, there is no service!

Not serious business partner
I'm still waiting for the goods #WEB-6080797 usually from "the shelves" more than 1,5 months. In their customer call centre are layers, who lay every time when I call them. They don't answer on request mails.
You can't see the status of your order and you can't track your order on line, all the time Pending!
They have spoiled my project. Desperately I would not recommend them.
On the end, I hope that I will ever get goods at all or just pick up the money from my account!?

It appears your order may have been lost please contact us if it still hasn't arrived as it was shipped in March. I believe we offered at the time other 125mm clocks and barometers of the exact same size,design & material to replace the ones ordered but an exact match on fixing hole drilling was required you had said. As the alternatives did not have this guarantee we fully refunded the order same day. A copy was also emailed according to our records prior to this email.
Wood filler or an oversize replacement would cover any existing holes, which I believe we also recommended as a solution. Both of which we could have supplied.
We hope you have since found the specific make and model you were looking for.

Also a report of appalling service: An internet order from november 2017 is still standing as "pending", it is impossible to get through to them on telephone, and no response apart from automated answers on email. And the chat-service seems permanently unmanned.
I have requested a refund on my creditcard payment - most internet shops will charge your account on shipment but Marine Megastore charges you upon order

I placed an order ( #WEB-6080718 ) on September 22nd as the online catalogue stated it as available. To date absolutely no response to any means of communication . I have requested my money back and suggested that I go to Trading Standards - still no response.

Appalling 1 star is too many!
If I had seen the reviews here I would never have placed an order but sadly I did. The only thing they do quickly is take the money from your credit card. Ordered a product with special discount. No news so chased them up on a phone number you pay for. Kept hanging on and hanging on. Sent an email got an auto reply saying contact webchat using a link. Did that it - it was unmanned but had an email address on it which turned out to be that of another fed up customer. You could not make it up!!!! Eventually spoke to someone who offered me a cheaper alternative. Said he would sort immediate refund of the difference and advise delivery. Still heard nothing and no refund. Then cancelled order and asked for full refund. Still nothing back. Truly aweful and also first negative review of any company I have ever completed.
Update 11th August so over a month after taking the money from my card - still no refund although I am assured one is on its way as per email received 10th August. Still no paperwork whatsoever detailing out costs/VAT etc apart from initial order acknowledgement for item you did not have. Webchat service still unmanned.

Showing as delivered by Fedex and signed for by yourself on 19/5/2017. The order contained 8 items with 3 different SKUS (2 of which were compass spares shipped from France which was explained at the time) and so was consolidated rather than piecemeal shipped. Normally packages are sent as piecemeal but if an item is expected from Europe within a few days to be ready it joins up with the others then ships complete. We now as policy ship items unconsolidated to avoid similar issues.

This web store is seriously unreliable. Luckily my order was small. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased here. I ordered some simple marine parts 4 weeks ago, the order is still pending even though they state that the parts are in stock. What about the payment, they charged my credit card directly. I can see that you ordered on 6/10 and were fully refunded on 10/10. The delivery service was our standard 2-5 working day service. Yes the item was unavailable however it had been replaced by the manufacturer Farcela in a professional size which unfortunately was too large a tub for your requirement. We supply both professionals and public some some products are targeted at the former. If demand for the public small size drops then invariably the manufacturer discontinues the small size tubs I'm affraid. I believe we matched in the entire list that you required to the replacement versions but you declined them. We respected that decision and full refund was applied.

16 days for answer "not in stoch anymore"
Really poor online store.
After more than two weeks of waiting i got the message "not in stock anymore", but only after spending one hour for waiting at the "service-chat-line" and sending of three email tio them.
No service, Ridiculous.

The Roca range of switch panels are now special USA imports which I expect is why they were unavailable in Germany. When the UK distributor discontinued them in 2016 we had to begin the process of locating a new supplier to import them for us to the UK which takes time on USA brands as they have to comply with CE marks etc. Unlike European ones some smaller USA brands often rely solely on USA market due to the extra cost of meeting European standards. We can one-off import any USA CE marked product but normally we require a larger order than a single piece due to customs processing and airfreight.
If you still need the part then please make contact for such a quotation. Alternatively we always have around 50+ other 6 way switch panels in stock from UK and European brands such as BEP, Blue Sea Systems, Osculati, EC Smith, Aquafax and others. I expect several are similar in size to the one you were after. As for the livechat service we have switched systems from a software to online version in 2016 and have found it often fails to notify then connect us to the customer. We apologize for this inconvenience we will see if we can revert back to the old Liveperson system which worked much better.

!!!!! PROBABLY THE WORST ON-LINE STORE EVER !!!!!!
Perhaps you will be lucky enough to get your goods as ordered and on time. However, should you not, be warned that you will be in for a nightmare experience. I ordered 2No. galley foot pumps which did not arrive after the prescribed 10 days period. Eventually only 1No. pump arrived and it was not at all as advertised and therefore not fit for purpose. After many attempts I eventually spoke to Richard via their web chat and he was evasive to say the least. I informed Richard that I would be returning the delivered pump and requested a full refund - to which he agreed. It has been 5 weeks since my original order and despite my prompt return of the pump, no refund payment has yet been made. Marine Megastore have yet to respond to my repeated attempts to contact them regarding the refund. Save yourself much grief and cost by avoiding this company !!!!

Plastimo supplied the double action foot pump P17494 but unfortunately updated the design without changing the partnumber or catalogue stock image. They have always been made for Plastimo by AAA as Plastimo France distribute mainly and manufacture primarily Compasses, Lifejackets and Liferafts. The part number and label was correct on the item and we provided proof of this as the Plastimo unique barcode was 3162420174949 on the returned item, having been recently supplied by their sole UK distributor which we can prove and so it was the 2016 version of the item you needed. You needed an old 2015 version of the same product which as we supply new boxed stock means that we can only give you it as it now comes. We made a full refund for the returned item and order value. You requested on 14.04.2016 we also refund the postage paid to return the item which we duely did via BACS and sent a copy of this refund to you also. Copy of Chat Transcript from 14.4.

Total failure to keep promises
I made the miistake of ordering 3 items from this bunch and failed to check the reviews. Ordered 2 fender baskets and 1 battery box on 4th March. Fender baskets arrived, no battery box and delivery slip marked as to be delivered later. Email complaint resulted in reply saying can only chase orders via Live Chat. Tried this and it is an awful experience, takes over an hour to be given a promise to be broken. Still no battery box. The whole tenor of the emails and chat is a presumption that you are wrong and you as a customer are simply to be fleeced! I simply want my money back now as going away and cant take delivery. Do not touch this bunch in any of their incarnations, cross check addresses as they trade under other names. Dont even have time now to go to Trading Standards.
I note you have responded to my complaint and a battery box did eventually turn up. It must be pointed out it has taken you almost a year to respond! Everything you do is slow, the mechanism for making complaints is slow and difficult. I am afraid the reviews about you appear to be accurate.

It was showing as dispatched in the system but we took your word for it and sent another out. Terrible Service and Communication
Placed an order on the 13/02/16 told it would arrive in 5-10 working days. Should have arrived last week, nothing. Since Friday last week, everyday I have been on the phone, "Live Chat" (Dead Chat more like!) and email. 5 days total, 4hrs on hold and 4hrs waiting for Dead Chat.
Eventually located a telephone Number for Accounts. Only to be told that she couldn't help me. For the few quid I have saved by shopping here, it has now cost me almost £300 per day in loss of certification of a vessel I can't get out working commercially. Will not be shopping there again.

I can see that you were told same day as this review the order was shipped and arriving with you the following day via Fedex. Unfortunately the 2.14m Danbuoy item ordered was held in our offsite oversize stock location and required retrieving together with some special packing to ensure its journey was a safe transit as they are extremely flimsy that do not come boxed. Most couriers use automated belts at the distribution hubs so we have to pack them in a way they don't snap enroute.

An abysmal company that should be avoided
I ordered three small items that would take only a few seconds to pick and pack, could easily go in a small jiffy bag and Royal Mail post. Selected standard 3-10 day delivery. After 3 days I emailed to ask for update. Received a standard reply that said they don't answer emails, and to use web chat during the day. Great, some of us have to work during the day! Anyway, eventually contacted them on live chat. They said that the order had been dispatched by Parcelforce. I asked for a tracking number. No reply! 8 days later and still no sign of goods. Their customer service is non existent. I wish I could award no stars. I also wish that I had seen the other reviews before ordering, we all seem to be saying the same things. They eventually responded that they hadn't meant Parcelford, but Royal Mail. When the package arrived with a 48 hour service it was obvious that it had not been posted until 4 days after they said that it had been shipped. One lie after another. A really rubbish company. Avoid it at all costs and buy from somewhere else.
