Manchester Arena Arvostelua 

Went to see Diana Ross last night , and Whitesnake a couple of weeks ago. The staff are amazing, HOWEVER, the lack of handrails as you walk down is a disgrace. Many people could be seen gingerly making there way, and several elderly people were really in difficulty . I’m very surprised no one else has raised this matter, and would suggest something should be implemented.
The gigs were brilliant, but as the night wore on and the alcohol consumption increased it was frightening to watch .
It’s a disaster waiting to happen.
Please sort this out ….

Took my 7 year old daughter here for her first ever gig the other day (billie eilish) and the staff were amazing, we almost missed the gig though getting dates mixed up but then we were given better seats much closer and free pop corn. They made my daughters night! I am so grateful, the man working at the doors who gave us the tickets... thank you so much!

The arena needs to be renovated. Toilets especially

Dreadful Customer Service
Having booked tickets for a concert on a row I was told would have a gap in front of it (Block D Row A). I arrived to find no gap and very little room in front. Brought 3 tickets in the higher bracket; complained and was offered 2 at the back instead. Emailed the next day to complain and request some compensation. Arena refusing so referred to Trading Standards. Will not visit here again and encourage others not to as well. Shocking.

Got there 30 min before show started. Made to wait in the tunnel until 30 min after show had started. Inexperienced staff. Given wrong seats by staff. Then finally moved to seats we had paid for. No one new how to find right seats. Andre Rieu made comments about people being moved around. A shambles. I was involved with security in Birmingham during pub bombing in the 70s. So i do now what im talking about when i say It was a disorganized. Poor security event. Shamefull.

OK, there is no accounting for lifts breaking down so the steps to the ground floor level of the arena had to be used. The steps are many, steep and not very deep with no rail to support yourself. It is no surprise that people have fallen on them. Has anyone been badly hurt on them?. About one quarter of the way down the steps were full of people and there was little or no movement for quite a few minutes. I had to stand in a space in a row of seats (NOs 1 and 2 seats) to stop myself from falling. These steps are a health and safety issue.
When we eventually got to our seats the first half of the concert was interrupted by "latecomers" and a family of four, with members of staff, that looked to have had their seats double booked? and were standing in a direct line of our vision of the stage.
At the end of the concert we left the arena via steps through an exit on the ground floor which were much safer.
Not a good experience and spoiled our night somewhat.
Would I go back there?... not if I could help it.

Went to Andre Rui last night, the first half disrupted by hundreds of people entering late due to lack of lifts for mobility difficulties. Many kind showsec and disabilty helpers trying their best. Older people struggling to find their seats, the main lights keep being switched on so they could see, I saw several falling down steps, tripping up and really struggling accessing seats. No hand rails on steps. Members of audience reaching hands out to help people up and down steps. Andre kept joking, is this usual for Manchester I’ve never experienced this late coming before. I was terrified for all these hundreds of late comers finding seats in the dark. Not a suitable venue at all for anyone who is not fit to walk up or down steps that has no hand rail. Ruined the first half. Such a shame for these people after paying a lot of money for tickets and missing the first half.

Overpriced and not worth the money. We only had the choice of bottled beer and red/white wine for the'free' drink. Then paid £16 for two single gins. Total rip off. There was no atmosphere in the lounge. Go anywhere else!!

The venue itself is great however do not waste your money on the Heineken lounge.... We paid £30 each for entry and half a morretti. There wasn't enough seating for the amount of visitors and a pint of Moretti was £7.50 a pint!
I could of get better value visiting the Shard in London and had a much better experience.
What a waste of money..... We also missed the support act as no notifications available.

Good but expensive as the seats are small

Have been here a couple of time pre-lockdown. It is certainly an excellent venue and the central location is an added bonus.

But as others here have said, it is hugely expensive when it comes to food, drinks and merchandise. And their customer service (other than for sales), is poor as well.

Maybe their grasping attitude will change once lockdown is finally lifted and normality returns.

Decent venue- great parking facilities but overall expensive

Great location and facilities. It is a good place to go with the kids for the various shows that come on offer. Miss it and cannot wait for after the pandemic to go back here.

Venue in itself ok but very expensive products for food and drink.

I blame Ticketmaster as much as arena,but I had 3 emails from arena to tell me Harlem Globetrotters show,doors open 5pm,show at 6pm,I get there with my son and his friend for his birthday treat at5pm,to be told the magic pass pre show for which I bought 3 tickets,had started at 4pm and had already finished.my sons birthday was totally ruined,I tried to contact customer services,but you get2 options 1 or 2,either one gets you cut off.so my only possible contact with Manchester arena is this,so thanks for ruining my son's birthday with your lack of knowledge of your own events.i won't bother coming again, I'd rather go to a venue further away and deal with staff who know what they are doing.
