Snelle incheck! Makkelijk afgeven van wagen! Fijne auto die ik ook gevraagd had en busservice is prima!! 24 uur open!

We hired a car for 2 weeks and paid extra as we didn't want a small budget car.
The shuttle service worked fine, but that is all!
We were given an Audi A3 that was absolutely filthy inside, all surfaces were greasy and dusty. It was very dark when we picked up, but we could see the car was dirty AND full of scratches and dents. When we mentioned this, a guy with a dirty rag did 2 minutes of "cleaning" and then just left. The next day we could see just how filthy the car was, and we cleaned it inside, and wrote malagacar.com and sent pictures with our complaint. All we got back was "Thank you". We assume for cleaning the car for them?? We wrote again and never had a response.

We have rented cars numerous times, we have never had such a filthy car before, and never a car with so many scratches and dents. We took pictures when picking it up. We fear they will blame us for dents when handing it back.
I cannot recommend this company at all. Find someone who actually clean their cars and don't rent out bashed up cars and just ignore customers.

A slick and painless experience for start to finish.

Check-in to collect the vehicle was easy and the car was clean and in good condition.

Upon return, again a super efficient process and the minibus transfer was a short ride to/from the airport.

Will definitely use again.

I can really recommend Malaga car! They have good cars, use full-full policy, are good value for money (take their full pack!) and now they have an even more efficient pick-up service. The only minor issue is the return area which can be a little caothic

On returning my car we were met with a queue of approximately 100 people waiting for a minibus to take them to the terminal. Everyone was very stressed and worried about missing their flight.
We waited about 45 mins before we were taken to the terminal. We were lucky to get on our flight.
Whilst waiting in the queue I received an e mail telling me my car return was over due!! I had been standing near it for some 30 minutes since I parked it
I have been using Malaga cars for years but the experience this year has been very unsatisfactory

We have been using Malaga Car for over 18 years-the service has always been good with gradual improvements being delivered but this year the new automated check in was a huge step up. Well done guys keep it it up - you are simply the best !!

We had a terrible experience with our rental. Here is why:
- car was not ready upon arrival on Full Pack booking months in advance.
- had to wait more than 1/2h only to be given a smaller size car
- the smaller car received they claimed that is “similar” in price. Clearly not.
- car smelled strongly of tabaco smoke and was very dirty inside, smudged seats and windows with an oily substance (probably smoke residue)
- car being smaller, not all my luggage fitted in the trunk, back seat people had to hold carry on luggage on their laps.
Destination was 300 km away, we flu into AGP.
- got charged for going into Gibraltar “ without permission” when permission is not required as GBR is in the Iberian Peninsula
- got charged for extra km when Full Pack suppose to have “Unlimited Miles” (was told after the fact that I was only allowed only 90Km/day) and they claimed that is in rules and regulations website (but is not in the signed contract btw). This is clearly not "unlimited".
- all attempts to solve the issues were not successful basically told to go away. I was a repeat customer but no more. Very Unsatisfied. 😡

Super snel geregeld. All in assurance. Geen gezever met eventuele beschadigingen achteraf. Huren hier al 10 jaar.

We hebben de auto afgehaald met een bijna volle tank. 1 streepje minder dan vol. Daarna hebben we deze binnengebracht met een volle tank uit het goede van ons hart. Bleek dat we plots een halve tank aangerekend krijgen. Vanaf de luchthaven zelf binnen het uur een bericht gestuurd dat er een vergissing gebeurt is bij hun. Wat kan gebeuren. Denkelijk heeft de werknemer naar de water temperatuur meter gekeken wat lijkt op deze van de benzine. Eenmaal hebben ze reageert dat het half vol was. Daarna hebben we een bericht gestuurd met een bewijs dat we gaan tanken waren een half uur voor dat we aankwamen. Onmogelijk dat we in deze tijd de tank half leeg gereden hadden. Maar totaal geen reactie meer. Ik vind het heel spijtig, ze hadden dit meteen kunnen nakijken na ons bericht en gezien dat de tank vol was.
Nochtans was het voor de rest super vlot gegaan en hebben we geen klagen gehad

Booked a car in start october, contract stated EUR 333 including all. The pick up went fine, but after few days Malagacar have withdrawed EUR 380. After contacting Malagarcar they claim that I have chosen a "different" currency, but I did not. After writing forth and back they simply stop responding to me. Don't rent a car at Malagacar.com

Top notch service, worth every penny for that kind of peace of mind. We’ve been picked up within 15 from leaving the airport, 3 minutes drive and we were in the car. Messaging system prior to that worked amazing and speeded everything up. But my jaw was literally on the floor when car return took less than 2 minutes when I was prepared for an hour. If we go back to Malaga again, I will not even look at different companies! And my Jeep was amazing company for our trip, absolutely in love with this car 🩷

Zeer vlotte service. Ophalen van de wagen duurde maar 5 min , idem bij terugbrengen van de wagen.

Very busy and popular company.
We were surprised on motorway at start of our trip when a warning came up on the screen that car needed oil. We stopped at next garage to buy oil.
We mentioned it when returning the car but they were too busy to be in any way interested. We were told we should have proof with photos.
Perhaps better servicing required in this company to ensure safety.

As per the reply below we sent a copy of credit card statement with amount for oil - not accepted.
It's the safety issue not the money.

Booking online is easy. You get a quick response if you send a message. And at a great price! Free additional driver and no deposit! Picking up and dropping off the rental car was easy. The car was clean and in good condition.
However, the shuttle bus to and from the airport is small, so expect a wait if you aren't among the first to leave the airport. The same applies to the return trip to the airport.
