I ordered a hose and a jet spray attachment. The hose arrived but I then received a letter saying the jet spray is out of stock. I have written FOUR TIMES requesting a refund. NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. Order no 100528470.

Please can you reply to my mother who is vulnerable and ordered 7 April garden chairs. She is very upset. She has sent 10 or more emails and made 20 plus calls and nobody replying. Her order no 100529812 . This is distressing for her. As nobody is replying. Please can you confirm you have this order. She now wants a refund as her purchase was very expensive. And no response. Terrible communication, no information on delivery, no updates. No response to emails. Order number 100519440, placed 23rd March. Payment taken straight away. Goods arrived eventually after over 7 weeks. Goods excellent and plants in good condition with excellent packaging. Just a pity Mailshop couldn't give better communication and customer service.

Missing Items. I ordered plants compost and top soil to the Value of £150. I have received the compost and top sail but not the plants although the tracking device says that I have. I have tried in vain to speak to someone at Mail Shop and the carriers. Likewise with the "help chat Lines" and the automated telephone line of Customer Care. I cannot cooment on the quality of the plants as they have not been delivered so my 1 star rating is based purely on my frustration in tyiing miserably to get the matter sorted . If anyone from Mail Shop is reading this the order number is 1005394486 Shipment No 100475592., I would be delighted if they could sot this out or contact me and I would then be happy to write a furter review.

I ordered plants from mail shop, 3 plants are satisfactory, others are very poor quality. One looks just like a twig. In my opinion they are the worst plants I have received. I tried emailing the suppliers, but it said incorrect email.I also tried phoning,and it just rang out. I filled in a daily mail form asking for help, as of yet , I’ve not had a response., Very disappointed.

I ordered a scarifier on 30th March - money taken same day. Not received in 10 days so emailed - reply said delivery on or before 17th April. Not received by 22nd so emailed again - no reply so phoned on 24th to ask for refund . next day I was told refund arranged. not in bank by 29th so have emailed - tried to phone 3 times - have held on for over an hour before giving up. Where is my money ??? Communication from Mailshop is appalling - along with other dissatisfied customers I will never use you again. Order No. 100523453. Gaynor

Have not received items ordered 21st March and 26th March. Order Numbers 100515461 and 100520409. I have attempted to contact via phone and website as well as sending two E-mails. No response.

Thank you for your reply. Yes I did receive an order on the 11th April, the order was incomplete, I have now spoken to the Merchant and they are sending out the item not included with the original order.

With regard to Order 100520409 I have received the plants. I am still awaiting delivery of the Mattress Topper, having been advised by E-mail that it had been dispatched 27th March.

Have sent 4 separate emails after ordering plants 4 weeks ago and have not received any response.
I emailed after 10 days and said I wished to cancel the order, however the money was then taken from my account.
I was sent an email 10 days ago telling me my order had been dispatched - order has still has not arrived.
Am now contacting my bank to get my money bank. Disgraceful service and would NOT recommend.

Plants finally arrived, quality varied between dried out, dead, rotten and everything totally squashed inside the packaging. I emailed the supplier 5 days ago, not surprisingly I have not had a response. Will never buy from Mailshop again.

Ordered two rugs on 24/03/20 and when I go to Mail Shop site it states the order has been completed, but on the hermes delivery site it states it is still awaiting parcel. Tried contacting Mail Shop with numerous emails but so far only one response saying it should be delivered before or on the 17/14/20, so far nothing, have tried emailing again but no replies.
This is not the first problem I have had with Mail Shop so I do not think I will be using it again. Caveat Emptor.....

The main cause of complaints here are about poor communication and follow up!
On 12/04/2020 I ordered the advertised wheelbarrow for my mom as a surprise I suppose we will both get a surprise if and when it turns up! My order states 'processing payment' which it clearly is not because like others money taken from my bank account next day. I have completed the 'manage my order' comms and recieved no response.
Please give me a realistic timescale for my order no 100532240 or refund me my money. Disappointed.

Ordered 24 plants, money taken immediately. I've used the contact us, for an update as to why our order still shows as processing. Still nothing. Absolutely shocking customer service! Do not use order number 100536080

Ordered plants 17 April money charged to my credit card same day. No confirmation order received, signed into my account on website and my order isn’t even shown,

6 days after posting my review and receiving the standard reply from the Mailshop via Trustpilot, which I might add did not answer any of my questions, i.e. why is the payment still showing on my account as 'payment processing' when the money was taken 15 days ago, and why are no emails being replied to, and why is there nobody answering the phones to give customers a solid update, I have conceded defeat. Today i requested a Charge Back from my bank which they have agreed to, and by midnight the £121 will be back in my account. I will re-order my plants from Crocus who despite Covid19 were able to deliver my order placed with them in 5 days, they were beautiful healthy plants professionally packed. I accept delays are sometimes inevitable at this time, I can deal with that, what I cannot tolerate is a complete absence of any updates to my order. It leaves you in limbo. Do you sit and wait in hope with the whole garden makeover at a standstill because these plants were key features in the design or do you just order more while the Mailshop sit on your money? This is my first and last transaction with them. Never again!

On the 6th April a reply on trust pilot stated somebody would be in contact over a missing product. To date no communication no item but the money was take on 13 February. I have sent numerous emails the last one received a reply stating that they had contacted the supplier who then asked for all the information which had been generated my Mailshop, they could not be bothered to do it themselves. Three months with no service and no product.

Placed an order in March. Money taken from my bank account on 3/4/20 and supposedly despatched on 10/04/20. Shipment no. 100463160. Order no. 100524866. Requested an update last week but no answer. When there are possible delays for goodness sake keep the customer updated. I have no idea whether the goods have been lost, stolen or sent to auction. Return the money to my account or preferably try and trace the delivery. If I haven't received a reply by 3/05/20 I will instigate a charge back. This really isn't good enough! Pull your socks up.

Just received the replacement Italian cypress trees today 9th May and guess what??
I now have two more blue arrow junipers!! That is now 4 blue arrow junipers that I don’t want. I know they are junipers because we have had them before? What is going on? What sort of nursery doesn’t know what a cypress tree is? It’s a joke!!

I ordered 2 plants on 11th April ORDER # OR6180800 DAPHNE Eternal Fragrance and DAPHNE Pink Fragrance, normal price £29.98 reduced to £19.98, supplied supposedly 20 cm tall. When they arrived I was happy with the Daphne Eternal Fragrance came as described but the Daphne Pink Fragrance arrived in a much smaller pot with just 1 sprig of plant 11 cm tall, very disappointed. I sent my complaint through the CONTACT US section on the Mail Shop website, and as yet, no reply, not even an email to say they have received my complaint. Very disappointed. I feel ripped off. Expected better from the Daily Mail. i know the plants are supplied and dispatched by YOU GARDEN but as they are using your Mail Shop site to sell their products, you must take some responsibility,if they try fob people off. I have taken photo's to show the plants I received are not as described.

Don't use for buying plants. Took my money over a month ago, very small part of order delivered, no customer service reply to e-mails. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered garden Ground level Adjustable Large 2m Crank Parasol -
MS-3248-8529 on 10th April. Money taken from my bank on same day. table ordered with Umbrella arrived but NO UMBRELLA. emails not answered. Live chat ignored. Order status queries payment but money has left my account. So stressed by this as I need the umbrella for health reasons. PLEASE mail shop refund my money or deliver my product. I am aware times are hard but just communicate with me.

UPDATE see response below but no further information from supplier. I hope this does not have to be a case of refund via credit card

Poor sense/ no sense of customer service!! I completely understand that due to current circumstances orders will be taking longer, it’s more about not having any response from anyone when trying to contact. I rarely write bad reviews but this needs one!! Even when on the online chat service any questions asked don’t get answered.
