Mac4sale Arvostelua 

I placed an order with mac4sale.co.uk for a MacBook Air 11" (i7) in early June. Before ordering, I even called them to double-check it was in stock. They confirmed that it was and said it would ship within the next couple of days.

A few days later, I called again — and they reassured me everything was fine and the MacBook would ship soon.

Then, on my next call, they suddenly told me it was out of stock. They offered me a 13-inch model or an 11-inch with an i5 instead. I clearly said I didn’t want any of that — I had ordered the i7 for a reason. It was about portability and specific specs.

To make things worse, the next time I called, the rep didn’t even know that I had called before or that there was a case logged. That’s when it became clear to me that they were completely disorganized — or worse.

So on 16 June, I cancelled the order by phone and requested an immediate refund. They confirmed on the call that I would receive a confirmation email the same day. According to both their policy and UK law, I should have received the refund by 30 June at the latest.

On 30 June, I emailed them for an update. Their reply? “We are checking with finance.”
On 2 July, I gave them a final warning: either refund me that day or I would report them to UK Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, and publish a review.

On 4 July, they replied with, “Oh, we think finance already refunded you — we’ll check and come back to you shortly.” (Translation: never.)

So here we are, 8 July, and still no refund. I’ve had to initiate a chargeback with my bank and file a complaint with UK Citizens Advice.

This was a horrible experience — misleading communication, false promises, and no professionalism whatsoever.

Stay away. This is not a REAL business - this is a SCAM!

I ordered an item 10 days ago, which has still not been processed. It had a turn around time of max 6 days, so when I didn't receive a shipping notice I tried to contact the company.
I emailed several times to numerous different emails - some of which bounced.
I also tried to use the online messaging system.

I have never had a response to any email or message.

I am now trying to cancel my order. It was supposed to be for a gift and should have arrived on time. I expect that this will be ignored too.

Edit: the company got in touch straight after this review, saying my emails had gone into their junk. Replacement charger sent very quickly, also a team member phoned me to give me some help on how to get Numbers and Pages. Big relief.

I ordered a mac book, it has no Numbers or Pages on it so not much use for docs or spreadsheets.
Now the charger has gone from being intermittent to not working.
No email response to my emails, no phone contact possible. Customer service seems non-existent. Exploring legal routes.
It seems you are ok if your product works with this company.

Purchased an ipod. Shipping was delayed by weeks, customer service did not respond to my request to cancel or provide a shipping update. Item arrived as faulty, didnt even work. They are asking me to pay for the shipping to return the faulty item.

First time using this company. The company website was very easy to use and to order. Payment easy to make and receipt received within 15-20 minutes via text and email. Customer service excellent as I had a query…response received quickly. Sent complete spec with pics to ensure I was happy…posted same day and delivered next morning. Super well packed. Also gave extended 2 yr warranty. Super happy with company and customer service…will use again and would recommend to anyone.

Buyer Beware!! - you might just be one of the lucky 60% of positive customer reviews. I suspect they received what they ordered and didn't need to return or communicate after the sale. I bought a I pad pro keyboard from them Jan 25. £43.75. It was the wrong keyboard so I attempted to ring and sent 4 e mails. No reply.

I tried - dear God I tried ! I found two phone numbers buried in their website - but when I rang - there is a dead-line sound. Also the contact number here on trust pilot 01865 952725 tells you to send an e mail. There is no option to leave a voicemail. They don't have a PayPal payment option otherwise I could have claimed money back with PayPal. oh dear - I am doomed!

I wasn’t sure if a refurbished MacBook would be the right fit for my work, but I’m so glad I took the plunge with Mac4Sale. My MacBook arrived in pristine condition and is running like a dream. Best investment I’ve made in a while!

Dreadful company with dreadful customer service. I placed an order over 3 weeks ago, have emailed several times and keep getting fobbed off with ' your items will be posted by the end of this week'. End of week never comes. I have tried calling over and over, get 2 options to select from, then a busy tone. EVERY TIME.

I don't expect to receive my little girls Christmas presents in time now and I am absolutely furious.

Please avoid using this company.

If I do not receive a full refund very soon I will be taking further action.

As soon as I bought a laptop (online from their UAE store), this so-called store took my money and said that the price on the website was incorrect because of an error, asking me to pay the difference.

Since I was not satisfied with the answer I requested a refund that I’ve never seen (it was 2+ months ago), they started sending automated emails that have no relation to the context and when I tried to contact them, they didn't respond to my emails and the phone numbers on their website and in Google Places don't work either.

So glad I found Mac4Sale website! My laptop arrived in fantastic condition & packed well and works like new. This company really knows their stuff when it comes to refurbished tech.

My brother with learning disability bought a macbook pro to pay off monthly but changed his mind and returned it the same day it arrived in the post. But they refused to tell the loan company they he had cancelled and returned it. My brother got pestered by the loan company for over a year and was threatened to be taken to court. We had to get citizenz advice involved and a lawyer who is a friend of the family involved. They finally did wgat they were meant to after a year and informed the load company it was cancelled. They knew my brother had a condition and thought they could get away with fraud. But they didn't get away with it in the end.
Avoid Mac4sale at all costs, my best advice to. Definitely scammers.
