Mac4sale Arvostelua 

This was one of the worst experiences ever.

I waited over a month for the device and then when it arrived, it didn’t work and hadn’t even sent a charger, so had to wait another couple of days for this.

It took another number of weeks to receive a refund, as the “company” had insufficient funds.

It was a nightmare to get hold of anyone and was repeatedly ignored for days on end / the number just rang out.

I would advise everyone to avoid this like the plague.

Feared I ordered a mini mac too late as needed to catch a flight and it is a gift for my brother, the guys pulled out all the stops and recieved the machine in good time. Thank you very much.

A fabulous service. Helpful, great prices and immediate support. If only big companies could treat us with this well and with such respect.

Bought a refurbished MAC in 2020 following a power cut had to reinstall the OS as it kept crashing.

While this is not a MAC4sale issue , it did then apply a policy to the MAC from another reseller switch.be and subsequently pin locked the MAC. I have not put this on the MAC.

Contacted support the answer I got back was its out of warranty we dont restrict access

So was really pleased with it, now I have a brick not so much and not the greatest support.

Update - I managed to contact the company that previously owned the MAC, lucky i took photo of their config policy before the MAC was locked.
They acknowledged it was on their management system and they had locked it. Managed to get it unlocked but with no assistance from Mac4sale.

Headline is be aware if they do not remove these policies you’re MAC is at risk of getting locked and they won’t support you getting it sorted.

To MAC4SALES response - You sold me a MAC with a previous owners policy on it - they confirmed this when i contacted them to get it unlocked - So on this occasion no you did not remove the previous owners records.

Avoid if possible!
Very disappointing experience. I paid for my MacBook in the beginning of March. Promised dispatch time is around 5 days, I was waiting for 2 weeks. I got my MacBook, it has been working for 4 days and crashed. It happened a week ago. Since then I have loads of promises and zero results. At first I was offered to replace my MacBook with better option, I.e original order MacBook 2017 to be replaced by the MacBook 2014. After I turned the generous offer down I am promised to have a new MacBook and despite my pledge for issue to be urgent I still have only promises. I asked for a refund several times but it’s promptly ignored.
Avoid the company if you don’t want to be disappointed and frustrated.

Great laptops, in very good condition. Delivery on time and good customer service.

While we were pleased to get the laptop on time and it looks in good condition, it has not actually been reformatted as it still has the previous users information on it. So I would say it's recycled, rather than reformatted. We've not yet been able to resolve this issue and are very frustrated.

Came faster than I thought it would. Item works perfectly!

Great communication. Took about a week to deliver me a reconditioned iPod. Working fine. Very pleased.

There were problems in dispatching my initial order -and the charger was not sent which meant that I couldn't use the MacBook until it arrived 5 days later
The team were quick to respond to queries which included a password issue . I am pleased with the MacBook so far

I got sent the incorrect colour iPad that I had ordered. I emailed the company and they were quick to respond and rectify the issue.

Ordered a refurbished Mac mini on Jan 8th - waited for almost 2 weeks and then was told my order was cancelled, I’ve still not heard about a refund - today is the 25th. I paid almost £1000. Have reported to my bank and have told Mac4Sale that I will be reporting them to the police. AVOID.

*Received a refund initiation notification at 7 AM the morning after posting this. Note their reply asking me to send an email - as if I hadn't already emailed them already.

Purchased a Sonos5 speaker at a good price and this is working fine.
Only issue was the delay in having this delivered.
It was explained to me that the COVID issue left them short staffed, and so a backlog of orders built up.
This is an acceptable reason, and I would purchase here again.

It took 11 days for this iPad to arrive by post, only one day was spent with DPD. The Company was understaffed and also had too many orders to fulfil. I was promised 4 day delivery. The web site had a link to track my order, but it didn't.
I was offered an iPad in a different colour, but I didn't know what I was going to get until it arrived.
This average performance was probably as a result of absenteeism due to Covid-19.

Great service. Used before a few years ago MacBook came in very good condition.

Poor:
Mac Mini purchase took longer to dispatch that quoted on the website and then tracking indicated it was never received by the courier. Took numerous follow-ups to eventually get it resolved.
Buyback process seems broken. Somehow you're supposed to know that they need pictures before confirming a price as they don't contact you once you've asked for a buyback. Price quoted was well below buyback pricing on the website but no explanation as to why.
Had to chase the buyback payment which was also later than advised.
Good:
Chat feature worked well and the staff were helpful which was just as well as phone calls went unanswered. Good selection of devices and the Mac Mini I purchased was in excellent condition (it was an A rated version).
I like the idea of the Buyback service but it needs to be a bit more slick.
This was the second device I'd purchased and overall I'd recommend Mac4sale.

Really helpful support - didn't try to push me onto higher spec, gave good advice. Husband got an excellent imac from them 3 years ago, still in excellent shape. Thanks

My order got delayed but I had great customer service from Ismail, who chased it up and was very efficient friendly and approachable. The device when it arrived was in great condition and works brilliantly.

After reading some reviews I was a put off but I was also recommended from a very good friend so I went with the trust.
Do expect an up sale email.
The I pad pro m1 came as a grade B but it was like new to be fair, the item arrived late but it was placed on the 22nd of December and arrived on Saturday the 8th Januery so back log bank hols and the upgrade email made it a little longer.
I was in contact with them a lot as I could not use my amex card so I wanted to make sure it came.
Over all they were really good and helpful and the iPad is fantastic.
