Love Cashmere Arvostelua 

What an incredible service. I initially hesitated because I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend £60-ish (inc. postage) on an old cardigan. But considering the poor quality of clothing these days, I decided to chance it.

My item was a vintage 90s-era merino cardigan with an open weave, purchased on ebay for £8. It had a tear in the cuff, several loose threads, along with some general bobbling. I posted it off May 20th and it was returned to me on June 3rd.

I'm not overstating it to say that it came out of the packaging looking new. The repairs are flawless and completely indiscernible. The bobbling is a distant memory. It smelled fresh and clean and ready for wear.

I wouldn't even be able to buy this quality of sweater on the high street now so it feels like money well spent.

My only feedback: there were no instructions on what to include in the package to link the item back to me, so I printed off the order email and included that. It would be helpful to clarify to customers what info they do need to include if they don't have a printer.

Top quality businesses are few and far between but fortunately for me Love Cashmere, part of the Shorts of Hawick group, is one such company. I have just purchased a unisex 6ply navy cashmere beanie and I have to say the quality of the manufacturing and of the cashmere itself is superb. The company was very helpful prior to me placing my order. The delivery time was excellent, and the package was securely wrapped and sent Royal Mail tracked, my preferred delivery method for reliability. Extremely pleased to be able to support a top class manufacturing company based in Scotland. ChrisJamesJ

I went with my 75 year old mother. The rudest shop assistant I have ever come across. She looked angry as she unlocked the door, did not say a word to us the entire time we were in the small shop, and instead stood with her back to us looking out the window on Instagram. My Mum actually wanted a salmon pink cashmere scarf from there but the assistant was so unwelcoming that she left without buying it.

The product is nice, But: I was very disappointed by the presentation wrapped in a torn in half piece of scrappy used tissue paper, and a used wrinkled plastic bag. This is a luxury product costing £89 and it was a xmas present. I was very glad that it came to me and I was able to repackage it before sending it on. For this reason I would not use the company again.

Faulty wrap. Blamed loyal customer. After 4 months refunded 50% of price. Very unpleasant experience.

Did not do a good job, very disapointing considering the price (£29 + £20 delivery/return.

No bobble removed, very low quality workmanship.

Very arrogant and naive staff. Extremely rude owner & ofcourse no refund given!
