Lovely receptionist who was knowledgeable and helpful. One star off because I wanted a service and mot but the online booking form was not easy to use and the garage only had the mot scheduled. They would have tried to fit it in but because it was an audi the parts needed ordering in specially. Also for some reason I was told that the online service record could not be updated by them. Other audi approved dealers have in past been able to record.

Extremely disappointing experience at Mercedes Tonbridge. I selected a used car, paid the deposit and the full balance prior to delivery, and was assured the car would be valeted and fully charged beforehand, as one would reasonably expect.

Unfortunately, the car arrived absolutely filthy, with used tissues, coins, grease marks and dust throughout. It was worse than when I test drove it. Despite contacting them numerous times over the past couple of months by phone and email, and providing photographic evidence, I have received no response or resolution.

By far the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. I would not buy a used car from Mercedes-Benz again.

Following the worst experience- I followed the complaints procedure. Waste of time, they don't even bother to read emails in a complaints procedure. They don't even have the decency to call a customer in a complaint - I tried to call them but no reply no call back "as phones are charging" .Never seen a company mess up so much.

I have been looking for a car for a little while now and have had a few experiences which were less than desirable at other dealerships. However, with Lookers Nissan Gateshead, I felt very welcome! From start to finish David was very patient, informative and friendly. I found the car that I liked and was able to test drive it. The deposit has been paid and I am over the moon with the service I have received!
David explains everything in a way that is understandable. He will explain it more than once, if needed! He is very patient and considerate. When he says that he will e-mail you, he will! Very reliable, friendly and knowledgeable.
I would recommend this branch to anyone!

Terrible experience at Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham. Car booked in for service and MOT via BookMyGarage.com, they obviously hate that you get a good price and try and recoup money by finding faults. I received a call from Jess (receptionist) stating my brake pads needed replacing or it would fail the MOT. I agreed to pay £199 as I had no choice. Then received service video stating pads were at 4mm, 3mm is an advisory and 1.5mm is a fail. Complained when collected car and Jess stated, "well that's what the mechanic told me", then threw up a smokescreen stating I was being stroppy! terrible customer service and blatantly lie to get unnecessary work done. Made a complaint and awaiting reply.

Made a complaint about the Sales Manager at Mercedes Tonbridge on the 18th August & no response back apart from looking into the matter. My recent experience commencing on the 16th June is that after purchasing about 10 Mercedes over the years this Brand has the most appalling Manufacturer customer services, absolutely hopeless.
Bought a brand new car & after 5 days had a minor accident & been without the car ever since, no one can give any updates on the repair apart from awaiting parts. I would not recommend buying a Mercedes, & i will never buy another one, the whole operation are a complete joke!

I purchased an Enyaq in August 2026 through the Motability scheme and Skoda Stockport offered excellent service.
I was firstly greeted by Lindsay on reception. Lindsay was so welcoming, professional and hospitable whilst we waited to speak to James, the Motability specialist.
James was knowledgeable, thorough and very patient. As a person with speech difficulties, he listened to my queries and nothing was to much trouble.
The ordering and collection of my car was smooth and trouble-free.
I collected my car yesterday and James has already rang me to check how I am finding it. I would definitely recommend Skoda Stockport.

I paid a deposit to reserve a vehicle in one of your dealerships and subsequently collected the car on 7 August. The deposit has still not been returned to me, despite the vehicle having been collected and the transaction completed.

I have chased the dealership several times regarding the refund but have received no meaningful response. I have also submitted a formal complaint, yet I have not even received an acknowledgment, let alone a response addressing the issue.

I find this extremely disappointing. Returning a payment to a customer once the relevant transaction has been completed should be a straightforward matter, and there is no reasonable justification for leaving me chasing repeatedly for money that is due back to me.

I have purchased cars previously but never had an experience like this! They had cleaned the car up wonderfully, and had it all covered and ready to go. They were very helpful, and Lottie went above and beyond.

I recently had an excellent experience purchasing my car thanks to George Milton. My husband’s experience with Audi has been deeply disappointing from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward ownership journey has instead become a long, stressful process marked by poor communication, slow responses, and a complete lack of accountability.

Despite raising clear concerns and giving Audi multiple opportunities to resolve the issues properly, we were met with dismissive attitudes and inconsistent information. The level of support we expected from a premium brand simply wasn’t there. Instead of taking ownership, Audi repeatedly pushed responsibility elsewhere, leaving us to chase answers and solutions that should have been provided proactively.

A brand that positions itself as “premium” should deliver premium service — especially when safety, reliability, and customer trust are involved. Unfortunately, Audi has fallen far short of that standard.

We would strongly caution anyone considering Audi to look closely at how they handle problems when things go wrong. Our experience shows that the customer care and after‑sales support are nowhere near the level they should be.

Sales side Lookers are OK, the staff are keen to assist but not pushy. However, the after sales is poor at best. You have to chase to get answers, service and support is a shambles and when you raise any concerns you get a sob story about how staff have left and they are struggling. Waiting 3 months to get a simple answer on a warranty issue is not acceptable. I would not purchase another car from Lookers Gatwick based on the bad experiences I have had (which are many).

I have a Vauxhall Vivaro van which I use for work as a self employed plumber.
The dash has flagged up that there is an engine fault. It’s under warranty as it’s only 18months old.
I’ve called numerous local branches and the soonest they can have a look is in two weeks time. They also advised me not to use the van until then.
So I now can’t got to work for between 2 and 3 weeks which means no pay and unhappy customers. I had got a new van this time for peace of mind, any issues were covered. It’s extremely unreasonable to expect anyone self employed to be out of work for weeks as they are ‘to busy’. I was also told that there are lots of other people in the same boat as though that would appease me? Shocking service

Given that Lookers, Chester is the nearest to where I live it was a 2.5 hour return journey to purchase the car. Rather than waste a journey I checked that the 2023 Juke had no issues and was assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, when I checked the car the rear offside had been scrapped, carpets were missing, not valetted, petrol guage on zero and the front passenger seat had the side panel missing. Rather than wasting the long journey I accepted a £250 reduction for the scrape and the panel would be sent to my home address (need a tool bit to fit). Although remedies were offered, when paying £15k for a car you don't expect it have come straight from the auction without any checks. I will avoid for my next purchase.

Joel was the first person we spoke to at Mercedes Stoke. He instantly set us at ease to discuss all aspects of the pros and cons of each of the models of cars we were interested in. He was incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly he was so personable, and helpful. It is clear he loves his job and the brand he is selling, but what was appreciated most was the fact that he listened and made informed suggestions, to ensure that we bought the car that would ultimately work best for us.
His care and attention continued as we moved to purchasing the car, and his patience and humour was much appreciated with all the technical issues we experienced!!! I would highly recommend Joel and we will definitely be back to buy again from him, whilst enjoying a hot chocolate!!! We cannot thank him enough.

My partner and I don’t particularly look forward to buying a new car. We have experience of pushy salesmen and annoying sales techniques.
However I have to say we had a good experience with Jonny at Lookers in Middlesbrough. The service he provided was excellent and everything happened as planned. Thanks.
