Little Peckers Arvostelua 

Excellent service as always, great value I always buy my floating swan and duck food from Little Peckers, I really don’t know why there are so many poor reviews.

I previously left a review in 2020 that was praising the business for their service, and I thought I would order again from them. What a mistake that was. I had an email confirming my order, and the money was taken but nothing else happened. I emailed after the date that the product was supposed to be delivered to enquire of the delivery details, and no reply was given. I emailed again asking for more information, and without any contact from the company the order was cancelled, and my money refunded - Great in one way, but its meant that I have been running very low on parrot food, and now have to order elsewhere.

Placed order on 2nd January. 2 weeks on still not received, no communication and their customers services non existent! Little Peckers aka Havelins Pet Care do not answer any emails. No updates, QR tracking code they give does not work! Little Peckers used to deliver a great service but now been taken over by Havelins Pet Care.
Update: 4 hours after writing this review and sending email threatening to open dispute with PayPal (if they did not answer my email) they sent email stating my order had been dispatched (16th)…BUT it HADN’T - they didn’t hand it over to Yodel until 21st January! (I had ordered 2 large bird feeders and one fat ball feeder). On the 20th January PayPal sent email to say I had been refunded £10.99 (for one feeder) …still no communication from Havelins! Eventually, afternoon of 21st they sent email informing me they only had one feeder, so had refunded for the other and my order was on it’s way. I received my order from Yodel today (22nd)! They just need to improve communications with their customers! I would not have given this bad feedback if they had sent email a few weeks ago to explain for the delay …I received no apology for having been left in limbo and waiting 20 days for my order!

Placed an order 6 days ago and was delivered today with absolutely no problems. Not bad considering I am in Scotland and due to heavy snow and icy conditions all deliveries have been running late or cancelled. Well done Little Peckers.

Ordered 2 weeks ago and still no items despatched. E mailed but no reply yet. Useless.

Don't ever buy from this lot. They are under the umbrella of Havelinspetcare and are incompetent and useless. They take your money and then nothing no dispatch notice no update nothing. No phone number, only contact by email which they ignore. I have sent 4 emails about my order and no response. Bank won't cancel, you have to wait 30 days and if no delivery bank will reclaim money .
Little Peckers aka Havelins know this and take full advantage. The consumer needs more protection from cowboy outfits like this.

We placed an order on 21 Dec 24. Appreciating Christmas and New Year delivery issues we paid extra for our delivery. In spite of emails our delivery has still not arrived. Little Peckers has always been excellent but we have not received any emails despite our requests for updates

Have been trying to find the status of my order placed two weeks ago. The website gives no telephone number and requires you to use email. I have emailed several times without any response.
I want to cancel my order and go elsewhere since the delivery dates they provided have passed and Yodel has no knowledge of my order.
A telephone number can be found on Google and PayPal but it isn't answered and doesn't let you even leave a message.
The measure of a company is the quality of customer service and how they respond when there is a problem. On that basis this company cannot be recommended.
Update:
They're even worse than I thought. Having tried to cancel an order almost a fortnight ago, and constantly trying to get any response by email (the only way they can be contacted) I have now received an email saying that my goods will arrive around a week later than they first promised and almost three weeks since I asked them to cancel.
Going by this experience I can only hope that there is no further problems with the goods because they clearly ignore customers as soon as they have the money.

Placed an order, then read the reviews as this is my first time buying from this company.
I purchased 10kg of nutribird P15 tropical due to its competitive price compared to other sites.
Upon reading the reviews I wasn't hopeful on recieving the product I purchased/ or receiving it very late and possibly not at all.

Well it was the complete opposite, I placed my order on January 1st, and I received it today January 3rd. It arrived well packaged, packaged the same way as previous company's Ive ordered from.

Unfortunately in this world we just can't please everyone, and we are only humans, I'm glad I ordered before checking the reviews, as had it been the other way round, I wouldn't have used this company, purely on the reviews. What's the saying, don't judge a book by it's cover!.

Will 100% order again. Thank you.

I have placed an order on 5.12.2024. It is 27.12.2024 and my order still hasn’t been delivered. I have sent lots of emails asking them to resend my order as yodel shows they still have it, meaning they lost it on 10.12.2024, but customer service is none! Literally none! No response whatsoever! It’s a joke of a company and completely irresponsible and not caring service.
I will not be buying from them ever again.

I don't know what's happened recently but there has been ZERO response to emails. I've been waiting 12 days and sent 3 emails regarding a delivery that arrived damaged. 25kg of oat groats dumped on my doorstep, the bag sliced open with a knife inside a box that had also been tampered with and tape removed. All of the contents were spilled down my path and then burst at my front door leaving mounds of oat groats on my doorstep, spilling into my house. All I wanted was a replacement and I have been ignored, despite being a regular customer with no prior issues.

First time I’ve used this company. My original customer service email contact was dealt with immediately which I praised them! :-)

My order parrot feed arrived in a huge oversized box with no packaging but on inspection they had sent me a taped up bag of parrot food which had previously been damaged.
I sent an email to ask why they think it’s great practice to send out damaged goods but NO REPLY hence the review.

Lost another customer :-(

If I could give a zero I would. Have used a lot in the past with no issues. UNTIL NOW. Terrible customer service, non-existent. Part of my order arrived and I have been chasing for the second half since. Received, what I thought was the missing parcel to find it was someone elses! Six emails later, still no reply. Have today notified them that I will be instructing my bank to start proceedings for a charge back on my card. Will NEVER use again

**UPDATE** - 7th Jan 2025
After several emails and the final one putting them on notice for my instructing the bank to do a chargeback, I had a reply - sincere apologies for poor service (no explanation given) and a refund has been issued.

Company needs shutting down

I placed an order on the 29th November 2024 and was charged same day and told it would arrive between 4th and 6th December but when it hadn’t arrived on the 9th I contacted them and was told I had cancelled the order which I most definitely had not and I had been refunded the payment but after contacting my credit card provider they said nothing had been refunded, I intend to ask the credit card provider take action against the company if no payment has been refunded in next 10 days, wishI had read reviews before ordering.

Ordered from them. No product arrived. No reply to emails. ‘Customer’ number is a voicemail with no method to leave a message. Robbers - probably targeting old people

Placed an order for 13kg bag of Swan and Duck Food on the 18/11/24. Tried contacting Little Peckers on 25/11/24 but cannot leave a message on the answer phone so emailed to find out where my order has gone, still no reply. So have lost £29.99 and have not received my order. WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I always order sunflower hearts and sunflower seeds from Little Peckers - great quality and best prices I can find. Also they usually deliver very fast. On one occasion it was a little slower but generally a great service!

I ordered two "Supa nyjer bird feeders with trays" from the Little Peckers website, with other goods. When the order eventually arrived there were no trays, so naturally I contacted them for assistance. I have subsequently sent them photographs, and further emails. They clearly do not care about customers; they have offered neither the goods nor a refund. I have ascertained that this outfit is part of a group of online suppliers operated by HAVELINS PETCARE LIMITED, UNIT 1, THE I O CENTRE, HEARLE WAY, HATFIELD, AL10 9EW. Google states that this building is permanently closed, but they are still registered at that address by Companies House. I am in the process of compiling a report for Hertfordshire Trading Standards.

Fast delivery. Ordered suet pellets on Sunday 10th November and they arrived by Yodel today, Wednesday 13th. Quality item at a reasonable price. The parcel was well packaged and exactly what I ordered. Perfect!
