LITELOK® Arvostelua 

Not fit for purpose.
I purchased an X1 for the purpose of touring. However I find that the X1 and other Litelok products are not compatible with most large motorcycles. Basically, anything with a 120+ front wheel. I would say that is 90% of all motorcycles over 600 cc. I would warn others that these locks are only compatible with bikes with skinny 21" front wheels like a Tiger 900. Litelok are fully aware of this issue but choose not to address, or warn customers. Even its latest product claims to be "bigger" It's not! It's longer. £169.99 for a product that will only fit through an easily cut spoke or disc. It won't even fit on my RE 450 Guerrilla. It's no good producing a quality product if it won't fit the task that it is intended for. Avoid if you have anything with a 120+ wheel

This lock is stout! I feel confident that my recumbent e-trike will be safe with this lock

Great product,bought the Litelok X3. Easy online purchase ,quick delivery and certainly a very tough looking and feeling product.

After a friend's bike was recently stolen using a disc cutter, I bought this product. Instantly it gave me confidence that there was less risk of the same happening to me. Feels strong and heavy and fits my bike (street glide) perfect

Purchased a Litelok X1 “moto” for my Kawasaki ZZR1400 after seeing several social media ads showing the lock easily sliding over various motorcycle tyre and rims

Upon delivery it seemed like a great product *FOR A BICYCLE* as it wasn’t wide enough to fit over my motorcycles tyres as seen in all their ads, the only way of using it on my bike is over a single spoke, a thief would grinder through this spoke in seconds making the lock pretty pointless

I’ve seen some motorbikes with gaps big enough on brake disks (rotors) or hubs for the U lock to slide through BUT the fact remains that LITELOK is fundamentally a bicycle lock business not motorcycle focussed

Upon further research I discovered that the X1 “moto” is exactly the same product as the X1 bicycle lock, the “moto” tag is simply added as a crafty sales ploy to market this bicycle lock to motorcycle owners

Similarly there’s a LITELOK X3 and an X3 “moto” which are the exact same bicycle lock, no design change, just added “moto” tag to coax motorcyclists into buying the bicycle lock that may or may not fit securely on their wheels

I posted comments on several LITELOK social media ads suggesting they should actually design a motorcycle specific product with a wider hasp, their feedback was curt and dismissive, eventually they blocked me from commenting on their Facebook page, very shoddy attitude to a customer who feels mislead by their crafty marketing

I have uploaded a video review on YouTube showing my dissatisfaction and demonstrating how this bicycle lock doesn’t fit my motorcycle despite its “moto” branding

Great product fits in to the front wheel of a BMW 1250 GSA perfect already recommended to my brother for his Honda Goldwing

Really impressed with my X1 moto. As soon as I fit it to my bike I’m reassured that I’m taking the best measures I can to keep it safe. Great quality. I love it. It arrived on time and well packaged too.

Bought this lock as I had seen many reviews online and you tube videos showing how effective this lock is at protecting motorbikes and I’m pretty keen on keeping my bike. I had research various locks but this came up trumps "

There was a potential issue with the carboard packaging as such a heavy beast it was struggling to escape. However all there as should be. Heavy, its tells you but somehow didn't expect that. My fault as bought the lock before the Triumph Speedmaster and it is to big to fit through the disk, i'm still trying to figure out best way to use. However silly me if had read the available description the dimensions are there and a cut out to create and try. For the lock itself the X3 - well you pay for what you get, its not cheap but neither was my new motorcycle, just make sure you get the one that fits yours. On a extra note I heard that its not insurance approved - Well that's incorrect. I did a MCN comparisons site, and did not list LiteLok, but having selected Triumph insurance spoke to them and they said it was.. So speak your insurance and gain the discount this lock gives you - Just ensure fits bike!"

Well made and impressively tough. Worth the money for peace of mind. Will certainly slow thieves down. Fits the front wheel of my ZRX Kawasaki and stores under the seat and doesn't rattle thanks to the included cover/case."

Fantastic lock that goes through both discs and wheel of my Voge 800 , the neoprene pouch stops any damage to my top case easy to use for a secured motorcycle "

From ordering my lock to receiving it was a matter of days. The lock is better than advertised.I would strongly recommend Litelok it's well worth spending the money for such a great product.When you think about it a few hundred pounds to secure a bike worth a few thousand is a no brainer

There is no need to tell you about the Litelok X1 as we all know that these locks are the best advances in motorcycle security period. However, the service I received from Litelok (Ben) was on another level. I wanted the X1 Plus but was out of stock. I then purchased the X1 and was offered to return the X1 when the X1 Plus became available even though it was outside the normal return period. Whenever I email Litelok the response was immediate and caring. That sort of service impresses me as much as the lock itself. Well done Litelok. I'll be having an additional X1 soon.

Love litelok . Have three of there locks . Luckily haven’t had to see if they stop theives . But have mates whose motor bikes have been saved by them .

I already own the standard x1 and although in my opinion it could do with being wider, but im more than happy with it so when I brought the x1 mini I was over the moon as it goes through my disk as a disk lock and then the standard x1 goes over the alloy spoke and through the x1mini so it gives loads of protection

Bought this for my son who inherited one of his father's Harley's. A bike like this has so much sentimental value we could not risk it being stolen so worth every pound .
