EXTREMELY OVER PRICED!!! Took a week and my goods still weren't even dispatched.. there are MANY other places that offer same goods much cheaper.

I contacted customer service because my order has not arrived i spoke to someone over email about the issue and they never got back to me. Terrible service for what ought to be a luxury store!

Customer service is horrendous. Despite the higher price tag compared to online competitors, you get nothing additional for it. I had a terrible experience, including having my order stuffed up initially. I will not use Libertine again.

When things go well it's easy. But the best measure of a company is how they come back when things go wrong. Long story short, Lee and Ash have recovered this customer through excellent customer service when things went skew whiff with delivery instructions and were headed downhill - fast. Lee apologised on the phone, didn't try to make excuses, acknowledged things were missed and gave me time to read his email from yesterday which I had missed. I then got back to him with issue resolved and on we go. This is how it should be and praise where it's due. Other fragrance companies could learn from Libertine. This whole episode has increased my confidence in Libertine - and that's not always an easy thing to do. Next order will be placed tonight or tomorrow. :)

I have placed several orders and have been unhappy with almost all of them.

First, they had a glitch with the website which enabled customers to buy fragrances for free. They then refused to fulfil the order even though the error was theirs, and didn’t send an apology email or any updates about what was happening.

Second, one of the discovery kits I SPECIFICALLY ordered for a perfume sample it contained, came with a replacement with no explanation again. Had I known I wouldn’t receive the fragrance listed, I would not have ordered it.

Thirdly, I contacted customer service about the issue and they never got back to me. Terrible service for what ought to be a luxury store!

Finally, they offered a $29 voucher with purchase, for the next full-size purchase. On their website (under Perfume Guarantee) it says that a full-size perfume is 30ml or more, however, on the voucher it states it can only be used for fragrances above 75ml.

Not impressed at all with Libertine - I would prefer to shop at Mecca, or search online for the perfumes I like. Do better Libertine!

Wow! Beautifully packaged order arrived today a day after ordering and with personalised note. Order was scented on opening. Just made my day. Tried one of my samples and just perfect. The longevity is amazing. Can’t wait to decide on my favourite and order.

So I purchased Matiere Premiere Encest Suave 100ml from Libertine on Black Friday. I opened the packaging and somehow the juice was sprayed right at the first pump and this wasn't a good sight. Yes, the fragrance smells so much weaker than the sample they included and lasts 4 hours then disappeared. I emailed the customer service and they told me goods have been opened cannot be returned but how do I know if I receive the faulty bottle without actually opening it. This showed that they didn't even try to read my email and just out right rejected my request even I already told them I was happy to send the bottle back for investigation.
So if anyone wants to shop with Libertine please be aware that you are at risk, even the chance is low but if you fall into this case like me they will not help you for that.
Considering this is going to be my last time I give my money to Libertine with their terrible customer service.

Bought a perfume based on the positive reviews on their site, it was a woeful performer and certainly not worth the amount paid. Failed to ensure the 'Perfume Guarantee' - a sample of the purchased perfume was NOT included (used to allow you to test before opening). Emailed expressing my disappointment and that the Perfume Guarantee was not present - no response. Attempted to leave a negative review on their site - review was filtered and not posted. Totally disingenuous. I bought several fragrances back when they were a single store in New Farm - great service then..how things have changed.

UPDATE: Libertine has responded to my review...2yrs later! And no, it wasn't a sale item (Xerjoff Naxos). I ended up selling the item in question on ebay at a considerable loss. Now you get even less points for this lame, horribly delayed response. Sheesh.
