I have been buying cars for a long time and, over the years, have experienced a very mixed landscape when it comes to customer service – or indeed simply showing genuine interest in someone looking to buy a car.
Very recently, I had quite the opposite experience elsewhere in Rathfarnham when I was seriously interested in purchasing a top-spec 2023 Volvo XC90. Perhaps I did not arrive dressed as the stereotypical car buyer, but despite being ready to buy, there seemed to be little interest in me or my business. It was a useful reminder that you should never judge a potential customer by appearances.
That experience could not have been further removed from Alan Lewis Motors.
From my very first phone call, through viewing the car, discussing the details and ultimately completing the purchase, the service was exceptional. I would genuinely struggle to recall receiving better service when buying a car.
What stood out was the genuine interest in me as a customer, excellent product knowledge and the willingness to patiently help me through every step of the process. Nothing felt rushed or overly sales-driven. Instead, everything was handled with professionalism, patience and a real focus on making sure I was happy and comfortable with my purchase.
I am delighted with the car I have purchased and, perhaps more importantly, I already know where I will be looking when the time comes for the next one.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alan and his team.
