We had an extremely negative experience with Let UK Home. They took over management of our property partway through our tenancy, so we had no choice in appointing them. Upon vacating the property, they made excessive and unjustified charges. We raised a dispute through the TDS, during which they submitted what appears to be a fabricated receipt to claim replacement of items that were already left behind by previous tenants and were effectively rubbish.Based on our experience, we strongly advise exercising extreme caution when dealing with this company.

I rented an apartment at 4 Merino Gardens through Let UK Home, and my experience has been excellent. The apartment itself is great, and the agency has been incredibly supportive throughout the entire process, from moving in to handling any matters that arose during my stay.

This agency has no proper communication channel to deal with tenants. From the very first day, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The property handed over to me was in an unacceptable condition — multiple repairs were pending, and the house wasn’t even cleaned before I moved in.

I was also told to collect the keys from their Paddington office without any prior notice, which was completely unreasonable.

Whenever I raised issues or complaints by email, they would only acknowledge the message and then do nothing. No follow-up, no resolution, and absolutely no accountability. The only thing they seem to handle promptly is sending monthly rent reminders.

Overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic responsibility has been incredibly frustrating. Even 0.5 stars would be too generous, but since that option isn’t available, one star is more than enough.

This agency was the property manager with a flat I rented, so I had no choice but to deal with them. They are completely incompetent. From not getting repairs done for months on end, until I had to give up, endless miscommunication issues leading to contractors showing up on the wrong day attempting to gain access without me present, failing to do the electrical check on time and then pressuring me to allow access before the certificate expiry date, to invoking the break close in a cold, sudden way by email because the landlord wanted to move in, to the final straw, arranging an incompetent check out inventory company that got the times mixed up and attempted to gain access to the flat hours before the agreed appointment time, which caused me great stress as the flat wasn't ready. The catalogue of failures during less than a year is staggering. If you're considering renting a flat managed by them, I urge you to reconsider because you're setting yourself up to constant stress and disrespectful treatment during your tenancy.
