London Camera Exchange Plymouth opened in 1971 and was in the same location for 47 years. We moved to our new location in 2018 and are the only specialist photographic retailer selling new and used equipment in Plymouth. Other than selling photographic, video and optical equipment we also carry out sensor cleaning, image recovery and firmware updates in store. We are also able to send customers equipment away for repair. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are always more than happy to help with customers needs placing good old fashioned customer service before all else.

Great, speedy service and quality used lens
Rapid response to my email asking for a purchase link, ordered on the Saturday, arrived 300 miles away at 7:30am Tuesday morning. The used lens I purchased was in excellent condition and at a competitive price, great service all round

Special birthday present!
Ordered whilst I was away from home to find it waiting for me on my return ~ a special birthday present to myself. Impeccable condition as good as new and very well packaged. Have ordered a good few many things from various branches of LCE and have never been disappointed.

Traditional shops, best used gear prices, fine service.
I like the blend at LCE of traditional, expertly staffed local camera shops and an efficient online ordering system. I also find LCE's used goods competitively priced, always among the best value (condition/extras/price) in the UK. Notwithstanding the presence in the market of other, more monolithic used gear retailers, LCE is always my first port of call, and they have never disappointed. This occasion was no exception.

Just a great company to buy from
I've purchased lots of used equipment from LCE over many years. I've never had a bad experience. On the rare occasion that the equipment hasn't worked for me (as was this time) returning the equipmet has been a painless process. All the staff I have dealt with have been professional and exceptionally helpful. On this occasion, plaudits go to the Plymouth and Oxford branches. I highly recommend this company and they will be my first port of call for any future photographic needs

Staff went to great lengths to ensure the lens was posted the same day, arriving well packaged and in the condition described (was 2nd hand) the next day.
Great communication by phone and email.
Staff at LCE stores are genuine camera people, they know their products and are a really helpful knowledge base. I would recommend LCE to anyone looking for photography equipment. Their 2nd hand equipment is keenly priced as well.

New FujiFilm camera
Ordered new FujiFilm camera last Friday online and it was delivered by DPD on Tuesday. That was excellent service as usual. The £100 reduction in price influenced my decision to order at this time following an earlier visit to your Plymouth branch. The staff at Plymouth are always very helpful.
