Wasn’t prepared to pay thousands for these new mirrorless camera, so took a punt and bought (after extensive research) a Nikon D5100. Camera arrived a few days later in a box about 20 x the size of the camera, excellent packaging, delivery. Camera received as per description, but in a lot better condition than what I was expecting. I purchased a camera online on 10th November from the Plymouth branch. I received two emails confirming the transaction. Then I later received a third, which I initially assumed was just the confirmation of it being dispatched which is normal (since I have purchased a great deal from LCE over the years) only to be told that the camera had been sold to someone else in store. The camera had only just been put up and was second on the timeline. Generally I have been very satisfied with my transactions with LCE which is my go to dealer, but if you are asking about my experience this time, I am afraid it is not good.
