Deberían dejar de ser racista y que todo fluya según los criterios de la gente.

A lot of times it doesn't sync the streams, also the creators of this thing, they are really bitter not just with artists but with the own users of their app, they're just racists, it's so sad and disappointing. I quit the app, is not just the app that's bad but also the people behind it.

Anyone talking about BTS is angry that obvious bots were banned. last.fm is a wonderful service and I use it for my website so people can see what I'm listening to. Really good service!! Ignore the BTS reviews, it's all angry BTS fans. This is why I hate K-Pop.

Unprofessional. After their move recently out of prev management, looks like they are now paid by some labels to push only certain artists. Another industry plant. Defeats the whole purpose of transparent counting of streams!

I’ve been a Last.fm user for years, but the way BTS fans and real users are treated is incredibly frustrating. Genuine listeners are constantly accused of being bots simply because they stream BTS consistently, while actual suspicious activity often seems to go unchecked.

Many fans spend hours listening to music they genuinely enjoy, yet their accounts get flagged or scrutinized unfairly. It feels like there’s a bias against BTS and their fanbase rather than a fair application of the platform’s rules.

Last.fm should focus on transparent moderation and treat all users equally, regardless of which artist they support. Real fans should not have to prove they’re human just because they’re passionate about the music they love.

Bad app in general. I do not recommend if you want to track your streams

The app randomly deleted my scrobles. I was so sad. But I have now moved onto a better app. I will never use this again. I can’t believe I also bought the pro version. They’re also racist so. They can keep their app.

Unprofessional behavior displayed by social media administration.

For a brand that claims to support artists and represent genuine fan spaces, they seem to have an irrational bias against people of a certain ethnicity and background. Bearing that in mind, I would not trust them to cultivate and uphold any sort of reliable fan community or ranking system.

Even so, this site fails to impact the charts the admin seem so preoccupied with in reality. All that is accomplished is the othering of a group of people (your very user-base) and promoting discord and harassment in online spaces. And who’s to say which other artist(s) and their fans will be targeted next?

Anyway. As for actual web functionality. Scrobbling is more or less accurately recorded, although ever since I started using this site I have often been left unable to open most pages for reasons unknown. Artists are often inaccurately linked to songs due to similar names, majorly affecting statistics. (Perhaps because of many of their names having non-Anglo origins?)

If my listening experience is wrongly represented, if the website is barely functional, and if users are further faced with uncivilized behavior from social media representatives (who thusly convey the intentions and mindsets of the developers and stakeholders), why would I wish to continue using this application?

Last.fm keeps asking users to support the platform, yet the app experience continues to get worse. Frequent issues, lack of meaningful updates, and poor communication make it hard to justify staying. A music tracking service is only useful when it works reliably, and unfortunately Last.fm no longer meets that standard. Very disappointing.

Really been patient with this app despite the random outages, double counting scrobbles, and skipping songs. But the recent xenophobic behavior of their media team on X/Twitter is the last straw for me. Do better!

Me niego a seguir usando esta página después de que públicamente hayan considerado mis streams y los de otros usuarios seguidores de música asiática como bots. Hago stream regularmente y me gusta saber cómo estoy haciéndolo para apoyar a mi grupo favorito, no soy un bot. Está falta de respeto hacia sus usuarios y hacia artistas fuera de la esfera anglo americana me parece inaceptable y más acusando sin pruebas, solo dejándose llevar por tonterías para caer bien en las plataformas sociales a aquellos racistas que menosprecian a artistas que no son occidentales.

last.fm heeft behoorlijk wat veranderingen doorgemaakt, maar is nog steeds een interessante website voor mensen die graag statistieken zien met betrekking tot hun luistergedrag. Het is ook een goede website om nieuwe artiesten te ontdekken. Nu de website onafhankelijk is geworden, kijk ik uit naar de komende veranderingen die de site verder verbeteren en om eventuele wijzigingen uit het verleden ongedaan te maken, die ongetwijfeld door veel trouwe gebruikers nog steeds worden gemist (radio, het sociale aspect, etc.). Ik maak al jaren gebruik van deze website, dus het werd tijd om een review te plaatsen!

The app in general is terrible.
the systems is bad the website is bad it doesn't update artists based on what you listen but it updates other artists they want to see rise.
On top of that its xenophobic and only gives credits to white Americans artist. I deactivated my account after you called BTS fans bots discrediting their hard work and the love they receive from their fan

How do you give zero stars? Such a badly maintained site. One would think this is a startup focused on holding the boat but apparently their social media team is busy upholding white supremacy fantasies

I had a tough time signing up and to later find out that it was not counting my stats and the artist has been deleted from the app, this is not something to be proud of

As little as 16 years ago this was an active, fun site for music fans. Now it's derelict. A monument to enshitification.

LLevo desde el 2007 usando esta red social orientada a la gente que escucha música e incluso he pagado por ser usuario premium. Es la mejor forma de saber qué es lo que más escuchas y cuál es tu estilo de música que eres más aficionado. Es cierto que personalmente me gustaba más antes de ser comprado por las multinacionales de la música, pero sigue siendo una buena página para almacenar que escuchar y saber todo tipo de estadísticas.
