Excellent e reader

I've had a kindle for a few years now and as a canadian I wanted to get out of the amazon ecosystem and boy I do not regret my choice! Since the kindle was a gift, I decided to keep it but I'm only using my kobo at the moment. I love the buttons and I love seeing my highlighting or my book covers in color.

I wanted to start reading again. I had books on my iPad but was distracted by everything on an iPad lol (notifications, calls, and looking up words or pictures of things I didn’t understand and somehow ending up in the black hole of the internet) I did a lot of research about E-readers since it would be my first one and I appreciated that this one had buttons and was in color. I heard horror stories about Amazon’s Kindle being that people were having their books deleted so I ultimately chose this one. I love that it’s so easy on my eyes which is another issue I had with the iPad. It’s very lightweight too! I have an IPad Pro which is very heavy in comparison. It’s nice and clear in the sunshine with no glare! An easy E-reader layout anyone can figure out. I love it and it goes EVERYWHERE I go! Currently reading The Fourth Wing, The New Jim Crow, and Remarkably Bright Creatures and am having the best experience! Oh and you can use Libby and rent library books on it. There’s also Instapaper where you can save your favorite articles from your phone or computer and read them on the Kobo. I’ve save articles from The New York Times, National Geographic, etc. I haven’t got the stylus yet but I can imagine that would be fun to use. I enjoy the highlight feature and that it’s in different colors, very easy to use. Battery lasts really long! So far it’s been a month I believe and it’s on 25%. I can go on and on but you can’t go wrong if you get this. The size comparison in the photos are with a iPhone Pro Max and my chihuahua/yorkie who enjoys reading as much as I do.

Absolutely love it. Transitioned away from a Kindle (and Jeff Bezos!) and couldn't be happier. great quality and I love the option to have colour as part of my reading and notation experience. I also purchased the stylus - perfect!

Já conhecia os equipamentos pois já tinha adquirido o kobo Nia. Resolvi, passados uns anos, investir no Kobo Libra Colour e não me arrependo nada! O ecrã maior e a utilização dos botões fizeram uma grande diferença na minha leitura.

Love the new Kobo - coliur, waterproof, easy to use, can add a remote, so I can turn pages without having to move too much, and no issues with my books being supplied on the basis of only having the rights to read, and not actually owned by me (Amazon should note there are other places that do this - they are called "libraries", and are a damn sight cheaper than the Kindle ecosystem like to chatge). Well worth changing to a different system, and won't be looking back, as the device is far better in terms of build quality too.

I LOOOOOVE my Kobo Kibra Colour! It allows me so much freedom. I have it attached to my library and my Kobo been so wonderful! I love the freedom to upload E-Pubs or PDFs as I have been able to not only upload books but also my crochet patterns and i love that i can use the kobo open to make notes! Its a great bonus when i use any cookbooks on it i can add notes if i change a recipe! The Kobo has multiple uses and comes in great for travel. No more having a library of physical books in my suitcase...lol. I can have multiple choices at my fingertips! I really cant say anything bad. LOVE LOVE LOVE MY KOBO!!!!
