A bit rich to charge a delivery fee when you buy a merchandise AND a delivery fee when you return a merchandise. Never heard of other companies doing it this way before.

Dårlig kundeservice og de hjelper ikke når det er dårlig kvalitet på produkt. Man kan ikke handle i butikkene deres om man er på ferie, for de kan ikke hjelpe med reklamasjon om man ikke bor i en by med en junkyardbutikk. Forklarte situasjonen min, at jeg bor langt unna, men det brydde de seg ikke litt om en gang. Får ikke ny vare eller pengene igjen så lenge jeg ikke står i butikk.

I’ve been a loyal Birkenstock customer for years, purchasing 3 pairs (In 1 transaction) more recently, including a pair of Birkenstock EVA sandals from Junkyard. Unfortunately, my experience with Junkyard has been nothing short of frustrating.

Soon after purchasing, I noticed that the Boston Black EVA had shrunk two sizes after minimal exposure to poolside conditions—something I’ve never experienced with my other Birkenstocks. Despite following all the necessary steps, providing pictures, and explaining that other pairs exposed to the same environment didn’t shrink, Junkyard continuously denied that the issue was a product fault.

After almost three months of back-and-forth communication, they finally offered a 30% refund—hardly a reasonable solution considering the product was now unusable. They did offer a full refund if I returned the sandals, but by the time they responded after 1 month thinking I wouldn't get anything, I had already given them away due to their lack of response (Also that they kept saying it wasn't a product fault). The sandals had shrunk by two sizes, making them unwearable.

While I accepted the partial refund to close this lengthy process, the outcome was extremely disappointing. For a company selling premium brands like Birkenstock, I would expect much better customer service and a more timely, fair resolution. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing from Junkyard, especially if you value proper / timely customer care and support in resolving product defects.

Size of item is not what I received and they won't offer a full refund. Avoid.

Ce site est désastreux, délais longs et surtout pantalons arrivés avec nb de imperfections. Un autre problème d envergure plus que conséquente est que les photos de mannequins ne correspondent en rien au produit , ce qui me déplaît plus que particulièrement. Enfin la politique de retours est totalement fausse , il faut payer déjà 5.95€ et , surtout, ils ne vous remboursent pas disant que le produit rendu est " abîmé " ...
Fuyez ce site absolument, vous ne ferez aucunes affaires !!!

Je pensais faire une bonne affaire en achetent pour le prix de 2 articles et en recevoir 1 gratuit mais non pas du tout javais commandé 4 articles dont chaque article avait loffre 3 pour 2 mais je nai recu que 1 seul de chaque 4 articles alors que je devais en recevoir 3 de chaque articles
Jai contacte le service clientele ils mont repondu quils ont bien correctement envoyé alors que nan ils n'assument pas
C'est vraiment une perte de temps et dargent je vous conseille pas dacheter sur ce site

Ordered a pair of shoes, received a sweatshirt.

Informed their CS dpt immediately by email (mail[at]junkyard.com), as they don't share their phone numbers.
Sent pictures, order nr and the likes.

Reply the next day:
"Could you please take a few picture of the products that arrived and send them in a reply to us. We will of course solve this issue in a timely manner."

To which I replied that same day:
"There are 2 pictures attached in my previous email.
Do you need more?
How about my own items?
One of them is getting low in stock already."

And that's it.
My next reminders were ignored. No further communication with them until I finally dug up some phone nr* online and called.

I was told to send back the wrong order to them (my loss to take the parcel back to the only UPS office in my country), which I did.

By then ofc, the product I wanted had run out.
So much for the "timely manner" when they ignore your messages (and their ****-ups at the same time).

Their order tracking within warehouse is as bad as it comes:
- Had I received a different size or even a different pair of shoes, I'd have kind of understand. But a totally different product is laughable.
- They couldn't tell whose order I had received, if they had swapped orders w/ someone else or what ("Unfortunately we are not able to send back the specific order, but hopefully you will find the items back in stock soon, if the order was sent to someone else.[...] It is how our system works.")

Screw you, Junkyard.

Ich habe ein paar Schuhe bestellt und ein kleines Teil fürs Skateboard. Junkyard schickt mir aber nur das kleine Teil ohne die Schuhe. Der Betrag für die Schuhe wurde zurückerstattet, ohne den Kunden darüber zu informieren.
Warum wird man nicht gefragt ob die gesamte Bestellung storniert werden soll?
Jetzt habe ich die vollen Versandkosten für ein Teil im Wert von 5€ bezahlt.

Je pensais faire une bonne affaire en achetant trois paires de chaussures pour le prix de deux, mais je n'en ai reçu qu'une seule, j'envoie des mails depuis des semaines pour avoir des explications et jusqu'à présent aucune réponse. c'est la première fois que je commande sur ce site et ce sera surement la dernière!

JE NE RECOMMANDE ABSOLUMENT PAS JUNKYARD, ça va faire plusieurs semaine que j'essaie de me faire rembourser une commande qui n'ai jamais arrivée. Pour cause je n'ai pas changer la localisation du site et malgré que j'ai spécifiée France dans la commande mon colis c'est baladé en Allemagne. Après les avoir prévenus ils m'ont dit qu'ils avaient bien compris le problème.
MAIS depuis plus aucune nouvelle, j'envoie des mails mais je n'ai plus de réponse, on a même oser m'envoyer un mail de satisfaction pour ma commande !
INADMISSIBLE ! Comment peut-on arnaquer les gens comme ça. SITE A EVITER.
