I have to say a huge thank you for replacing a damaged table top. A nest of tables ordered through Wayfair was received with a chip and crack on a table top. Wayfair’s policy is no replacement if assembly has been started. So I went direct to Julian Bowen, the manufacturers and was willing to pay for a replacement top. After discussion with Stacey, I sent a photo of the problem, and they agreed, and sent me a replacement piece, free of charge. Their quick service was much appreciated. It is great to deal with a respectable and reliable company. I will certainly recommend Julian Bowen to my family and friends.

After a couple of stressful days worrying about parts missing when purchasing a bed from wayfair .
Instead of sending back I was given details of where the bed was made. I was told to contact by email and within 24hours they will be back in touch.
JB kept to this promise and Stacey from customer services called .e on my mobile understanding my problems and immediately rectified and sent parts out. An absolute gem to have on a customer service. Thank you Stacey and have a lovely weekend

Leanne was very helpful and her prompt replies by email kept me in touch with how things were progressing with my order.
I always think that good communication is important to the customer and in my case it was.

Placed an order for a mirror.

Booked a delivery date for a set date.

Got a a text and email the night before, giving me a delivery time frame of 12-3pm.

I took the afternoon off work.

And one hour before the delivery window, I get a text to say that the item was not loaded on the van and cannot be delivered!!!!

ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY!!!

I have lost an entire afternoon of pay for this!!

I have emailed senior board members at Matalan, the manufacturer Julian Bowen and the delivery company.

I have spoken to Aftersales with regards to a damaged chair leg, with a view to getting a replacement. I was quite willing to pay, as the purchase fell out of the agreed warranty period - but this was kindly waived as a gesture of good faith.

Obviously each situation is different, but the fact they were able to accomodate that for me was brilliant - there couldn't have been a better outcome I suppose?

All-in-all, very well done, very impressed and thanks to Leanne M for sorting it out.

Amazing from start to finish, good communication, professional and kind.
The delivery men were outstanding, gave me a 3hour window followed instructions I sent. Called before arrival, on arrival they were outstanding so kind, polite and efficient. I live on a first floor flat ( delivery men can moan make it obvious they hate that ) I understand but it’s not my fault.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again in a heartbeat n monies pending 😂.

We had dismantled our fab Pluto Mid-Sleeper bed to move and when it came to re-assembling we had lost one key part.

Leanne at Julian Bowen responded to our email asking for help and immediately promised to put the parts in an envelope and send them to us free of charge.

Had a mattress delivered by a driver called Drew, very polite and helpful. Offered to help me take the the mattress up the stairs. Highly recommend. Great service.

We ordered our mattress from Sophie w . She worked above and beyond our expectations. We are extremely happy with the service and product .

Very disappointed to be fair, after ordering the new sofa bed from one of the Julian Bowen, stockists, it arrived today with a broken mechanism, which to be fair Julian Bowen have offered a replacement, however unlike the original delivery of 48hrs, it could be weeks before I get a replacement, also having been promised the earth initially, I received no call back today, and no have to wait till Monday at the earliest to resolve this issue. In the meantime I'm 900 quid out of pocket and sleeping on the bloody floor again! Just feel a bit let down really, as been without a bed for months and finally thought I'd found a company who would actually deliver on their promise, let's hope they can resolve things and I can change this review to something more positive

What an amazingly easy and helpful company to order from. I needed extra parts for my bed and they honestly went over and above in being helpful, getting my order spot on and being super quick with delivery. Not often I bother to give feedback but they really warranted it. Thank you.

I contacted Julian Bowen via email after receiving a damaged item. I received a fast response & helpful communication from Chloe who has arranged to send a replacement. Couldn’t ask for better customer service.

Absolutely shambolic !! Delivery date was 11th feb . Updated email to today 12th feb. Received a call from driver 9.50 to say he would arrive in 20 mins. He didnt !! Didnt answer when i called back repeatedly pm. No delivery. No explanation. Emailed delivery company said couldnt do it today . Now i have been told NEXT WEEK ! Although no one can seem to arrange a time. NEVER AGAIN

I ordered two Julian Bowen bedside drawers from John Lewis last June. At first I was very happy with the purchase, and then both sets of drawers broke within a few weeks of each other - the fronts of the drawers came off completely. It looks to me like a design or manufacturing fault.

The drawers came with a 12 month warranty so I expected to be able to resolve this quickly... Boy was I mistaken! I'm now on week 5 and Julian Bowen have been as obstructive as possible. Firstly, they randomly sent out new drawer fronts as "replacement" parts, but with no instructions or ways of fixing them to the drawers. Then I was told someone would come round to make the repair - that never happened. Most recently, they said they would take them back for a refund, but have insisted that I deconstruct and wrap the drawers for courier pickup. No idea how I am supposed to take them apart, and when it comes to wrapping I was told I should buy some bubble wrap or cardboard to wrap them in - as if me buying some industrial packaging so they can pick up their broken product is totally reasonable!

At this point I think they are just messing with me because I dared to complain about the quality of their product. All I'll say is that all the furniture I bought from IKEA at the same time is still functioning fine... This is not the place to buy from if you want long-lasting, quality products or helpful customer service.

We ordered a bed via Next. It was sent within 10 days. We obviously got rid of our bed when it arrived. However, when we opened the box, there were no fixings. Next promptly apologised and immediately contacted Julian Bowen. They told us our fixings would take 2-7 days. Considering it was their mistake for not adding the fixings, 4 days in, nothing - next hoped they should have arrived soon as it was only a couple of fixings.
Julian Bowen were not helpful at all. They explained that it depends when Royal Mail deliver - no attempt to get this sent in faster. After paying £600 for a bed frame you would think they would try and get this sent out ASAP. Nope. And no tracking too so no idea how long we are going to be on the floor. Really poor.

I contacted Julian Bowens Customer Services via email, I just wanted to know about 2 x replacement screws for a Racing Car Bed. I didn't actually expect an answer and I don't normally leave reviews. But not even 24 hours later Customer Services had got back to me via email and said that they had sent 2 x screws out by post to me. This is why I am leaving a review, to acknowledge how impressed I was with Leanne who quickly resolved our enquiry, when I didn't really expect it. Thank you Leanne.
