Total scam operation - please don’t use these people not only do they make it really hard to cancel by requiring you to go to a website that you didn’t sign up on but when you complain they mock you and are rude. I have dealt with many customer care people and have worked in advertising and never had someone speak to me the way your customer care did - it felt bullying and condescending to me as a woman. Definitely not about inclusivity.

Scam artists who take your money even after you delete your account on the app during their trial. Their support team just says deal with it when you raise a complaint.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering ShredFast understands exactly how the subscription works and keeps screenshots of everything during sign-up.
I believed I had signed up for a ShredFast trial and cancelled the ShredFast subscription showing in Google Play on 27 June, during the trial period. I was later charged £159.99.
When I challenged the payment, ShredFast told me that I had actually had two separate subscriptions — a Google Play subscription and a separate website subscription.
What concerns me most is what ShredFast subsequently confirmed to me in writing: they do not send an email confirmation when you sign up, a renewal reminder, or a separate receipt/payment notification. They say the subscription and renewal information is provided during the sign-up process.
I had no email confirming this separate website subscription, no emailed invoice or receipt, and no notification before the £159.99 payment was taken. The Stripe receipt I have now seen was only provided to me after I disputed the charge.
I have asked ShredFast to explain what durable confirmation of the separate contract was provided to me and how I was supposed to retain or subsequently access it. I have also made a Subject Access Request for the records relating to my account.
ShredFast has refused my refund and I am now pursuing the matter further.
My advice to anyone considering the trial: screenshot every page of the sign-up process, check whether you have subscriptions through both the website and your app store, and don't assume that cancelling the subscription showing on your phone means there isn't another subscription running separately.

Scammers. I canceled my £1 trial and 4 months later I see they have been taking money from my account every month. No emails, or notification of any sort to let me know I was a member. They preach all this BS about honesty and integrity but the owner Luke seems like a very dishonest guy.

I have to agree with all the reviews so far, outragous compant to deal with. I had initially signed up for 1 year but did not really use it so did not intend to renew. Then a year later they took another payment and i got a notification afterwards. I have trued to get a refund but like others there is just a stock answer and they do not intend to discuss or refund. This seems unbelievably unfair for the consumer as we must have the right to change our minds and get refunded if we are clearly not going to use the service.

Update - I went to my bank to get a refund for an unauthorized transaction due to 2 infringements of my consumer rights.
1. Did not give notification of the payment coming out of account
2. Did not give 14 day cooling off period after payment.
These are your consumer rights and over rule any company T&C’s. Go to your bank and request a chargeback for an unauthorized transaction.

My experience with ShredFast has been extremely disappointing.

I initially signed up for the trial expecting that managing and cancelling my subscription would be straightforward. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all.

The biggest issue was the cancellation process. There was no clear or obvious self-service cancellation option available to me. Instead, I later discovered that cancellation apparently required contacting customer support directly. In my view, this creates an unnecessary barrier for customers who simply want to stop a subscription. Most modern subscription services allow users to manage and cancel subscriptions directly through their account settings.

I genuinely believed I had taken the necessary steps to avoid further charges, yet payments continued to be taken. When I contacted support, I found their approach inflexible and entirely focused on their terms and conditions rather than considering the customer experience or the difficulties encountered when attempting to cancel.

The app itself was also problematic. I experienced usability and navigation issues, which made managing my account and subscription more confusing than it should have been.

What has frustrated me most is the complete lack of goodwill shown throughout the process. Despite explaining my situation and concerns regarding the cancellation process, every response was essentially a copy-and-paste statement repeating their position and refusing to consider a refund.

Customers should be aware that, based on my experience, cancelling this service may not be as simple as expected. Before signing up, I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing the subscription terms and understanding exactly how cancellation must be completed.

Unfortunately, due to the subscription management issues, poor user experience, and unsatisfactory customer service, I cannot recommend this service.

Free trial isn't free; they will charge you £1.
I received no email notification, so, couldn't access the " free trial". After the " free trial" ended, they took the money for the whole year ahead and they won't refund it.
I was charged over £200 without having an opportunity to trial it first and they are keeping my money.

Couldn't access anything on the app so assumed I hadn't any commitment with them after looking at their "free" trial then they took £159.00 from my bank.

I had checked on their app and couldn't access any content also there didnt seem any way to cancel so again honestly believed I did not have any commitment with them

Just avoid them 100% it will save you a lot of pain

I canceled my account and initiated account deletion before the renewal date, which should reasonably stop any future billing. My account was confirmed as scheduled for deletion, yet I was still charged afterward.

When I contacted the company, they claimed that “account deletion” and “subscription cancellation” are separate, which is misleading from a consumer standpoint. A reasonable person would assume deleting their account stops all future charges.

This creates a non-transparent and deceptive billing process where customers believe they’ve canceled, but are still billed anyway.

I attempted to resolve this directly, but they refused to issue a refund. I have since had to dispute the charge with my bank and file complaints with regulatory agencies.

If you use this service, be very careful—simply deleting your account may not stop them from continuing to charge you.

This company listed their program at £11.99 per month which i was happy to proceed with, i then got charged £159.99 as they took a years subscription without asking me. There is no way of contacting them - really really poor.

Terrible company especially when it comes to cancellaing, even if you cancel via the apple subscriptions side of things they do not give you a refund as per t&c, very sneaky dont join the trail.

Awful company to deal with, I deleted my account but was still charged £220 for a 2 year membership, when asked for a refund they just said their terms and conditions won’t allow them to. Shoddy shoddy excuse

Website offering good exercise videos, but with a rather poor classification system based on your fitness level. I'm new to using kettlebells for circuit training, but I'm quite athletic. So starting with video number 1 in the beginner category is a real waste of time, but I don't know which video to choose that would be suitable for my level.

However, the fact that you can't cancel your subscription directly from the profile settings on the website is outrageous and unprofessional! You have to send a message and wait for a reply. I hope they don't take too long to respond.
