Substitute food is rubbish
My very first order and had to substitute an item had no pot noodles of my choosing and sent out all spicy ones which I can't eat. To send stuff back is very difficult for me as I'm disabled.

My partner signed-up and they were not happy!
My partner signed-up and said they were not expressly told about the weird and unreasonable cancellation charges, which really annoyed us both.
Soon discovered the food was no better than a supermarket ready meals, and more expensive. Many meals thrown into our food waste bin as they are godawful gunk! Awful.
Customer service is extremely poor; patronising, condescending, obstructive and disrespectful!
Fact; under our UK consumer statutory rights, the consumer has a right to a full refund if the goods are NOT of merchantable quality.
Also; Uk consumers have a right to claim a contract is null and void if the company has provably failed to fulfil the obligations the company entered into.
Don’t let Jane Plan dictators mislead you; if they demand you pay a forfeit for cancelling, and you feel aggrieved over not getting what you signed up for, take them to the Small Claims Court, and sue them for the cancellation charges.
You have consumer rights, and my advice is use them!

Eat healthy, lose weight!
After many years of trying to lose weight I decided to give Jane Plan a go. It was the best decision I have made! 2 stone weight loss since January 1st, and eating nutrious meals. Also getting great support when needed from the Nutritionist Asha! No questions I asked were too trivial . The meals come well presented and taste delicious. And a great selection that you can change monthly! Different plans are available to suit personal needs. My only regret? Is that I didn't try it sooner!

I have been on Jane plan for 2 weeks, I stuck to it religiously and I have surprised myself by losing just over a stone, I have also dropped a belt size, well impressed.

Had to cancel my subscription
Had to cancel my subscription as I had an allergic reaction to something in one of the dishes. Customer services were very good throughout.

I have several medical conditions that cause me to gain weight without trying!! I've been looking at JP for a while, & I'm pleased with how things have started. Despite a hiccup with first delivery, because I require GLUTEN FREE, which as a newbie *I* forgot to confirm 🫣 however customer service was excellent and arranged delivery of GF, and collected the other both the same*next* day!
Some of the meals have been "interesting" but I can change them.
So, honest opinions and realistic expectations are key to my weight loss going forward.

All allergens are clearly displayed on our website and on the packaging, so you can check these carefully against your own requirements.

First deliver and 4 items wrongly included. Told to send them back at my cost and pay £7.95 to get replacements before my second month delivery.
Talked to Customer Service who were totally disinterested and just kept repeating the company line.
I can see why they get 3.4 out of 5.0 on the rating chart.

I found Jane Plan meals DISGUSTING!!
I found Jane Plan meals on about three that I chose were quite nice and palatable.. The rest were tasteless, the penne pasta cooked to the time specified was like chewing plastic, mince and sauce tasteless, I would say the best meals were the soups, the rest I threw in the bin, I like herbs and taste to my meals but I found I was plastering my meals in additives like seasoning, herbs and such.. I paid half price for my first batch, and ate only half of the batch, I cancelled my other packs, and was charged £150 for cancelling getting nothing for it..
I did have Jane Plan for one month about 20 years ago, but the meals were very tasty, and no penalties for not having another month or two if you changed your mind, in my opinion her standards and meals have dropped.
Feel totally robbed!! Especially being charged £150 after one week of saying I didn’t want anymore meals from her company, most unfair,..
My advice!! Steer clear the meals are not worth it!! And if you cancel you’ll be robbed of £150 up to £400.. She ought to be ashamed of herself, making people pay out such a harsh penalty fee. 😡

We’re very sorry to hear that many of the meals didn’t meet your expectations. With over 80 meals available and the option to change your menu between deliveries, we aim to give all our members plenty of variety to suit different tastes. We also offer our Swap Up service, which allows meals from a previous delivery to be swapped for new ones if they aren’t to your liking.
Regarding cancellations, we do have a cancel any time policy with no cancellation fees. The only adjustment applies if you have signed up for a longer-duration plan at a discounted rate – in that case, if you cancel early, we simply ask that you pay the difference between the longer plan price and the shorter duration completed, as explained in our terms and conditions. This ensures members receive the discounted rate fairly.
We’re very sorry for any confusion and appreciate your honest feedback.

On the meals, we know taste is very personal, but we do take feedback seriously and are always working to improve.
I’d also like to clarify that you can cancel your plan at any time. There’s no penalty to cancel — however, if you choose to stop early, we simply adjust the pricing so that you’ve paid the standard rate for what you’ve already received, rather than the lower rate linked to a longer-term plan.

Overall experience wasn’t good
Overall experience wasn’t good - the food was overpriced and bland. My suggestion is to go to Iceland and get slimming world/weight watchers food at a fraction of the price and you don’t have to experience how annoying Jane actually is. I’m basically saying it was crap!

My 1st delivery arrived on time
My 1st delivery arrived on time. I’m really hoping my revised second order arrives on time too. I lost 4 pounds then my sister arrived from america…..food drink I put it all back on and more. I’ve now lost it all again and 2 pounds more……try and keep on plan it really works.
