I bought two outfits for a wedding coming up. When they arrived one of the outfits had red lipstick all over it and the entire thing had a terrible smell of BO. Unsure if this was a return or what. I contacted customer service who arranged a ‘free’ return and once received by them they would issue a refund. This is the least they can do considering the state the item arrived in. I asked for them to post me another outfit as I still need it for the wedding. They said they don’t have the size. I asked for support with postage so I could order something else to arrive quickly and they are now ignoring my emails. I have emailed 3 times to no response when before this they responded really promptly. Do not buy from this website - they are sending used clothes and then refusing to support with getting you something new. I shouldn’t have to pay for postage or a more expensive item now in my size because this should never have been sent to me in this way. Appalling will not be returning.

⁷My husband bought me a set of 2 Bangles for Eid this week. As I have fractured my ankle I wasn't able to visit the store to try the size. They were 2 sizes too big and had not been tried or even worn as I could see straight away on Eid they were the incorrect size. My husband has partial sight so wasn't aware the receipt mentioned that jewellery can't be returned and nor was this mentioned to him by customer service staff that had served him. I have on a few occasions in the past returned/exchange jewellery from other stores without any issues. I ended up having to go back with my husband with crutches to try and exchange the Bangles and got told there is nothing we can do now. Extremely poor service and would not recommend buying jewellery from this store !

Ordered shalwar kameez for our child for Eid from Janan online.
Washed it before use. It shrinked. Contacted them for the issue and exchange. They refused to honour their quality promise.
Not reliable quality, nor reliable people. Proceeding with legal action, as this is violation of Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Bought two suits for women stitched and one for men. Also bought Janan Oud and Janan Gold which smell amazing. Defo recommend this site to others. The suits are a little bit on the pricey side but can’t fault Janan for quality

Had a great experience. The customer service was excellent, very helpful and polite. The staff ( especially Harriet and Zainab @ Leicester Branch ) were very helpful in trying their best in choosing clothes for us and checking availability. They made our day as we bought 2 dresses. The till staff was also helpful and signed up us on the loyalty card scheme ( 786786102104832)( BUT DID NOT GIVE US 10% OFF) , which i had a leaflet posted and it said on it. Only gave £5 off for every £100 spent , we spent over £200, the till staff gave compliment products . Overall we are happy with Excellent customer service.

The clothes I ordered were in a bad quality. The colour delivered was so different then shown in the picture. The cloth material is very cheap which shouldn't be due to the high price and it is a well known brand.

The store is very clean, well organised. Everything was displayed neatly.

The staff are excellent, especially a lovely lady named Sumbal. She was incredibly friendly, supportive, and patient while helping us pick the right sizes and styles. She made the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable, and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy.

We came out with a full family shop of six shalwar kameez, and we’re very pleased with the quality and variety available. Overall, I highly recommend Janan to anyone looking for beautiful outfits and great customer service. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

I ordered a 'suit' online and guess what, it's only a kameez and a dupatta. Misleading online items, this was a sale and both cost over £42 when I emailed , oh I apologise for the error, its not even an error many pieces are labelled as suits, don't buy those if your hoping you'll get trousers too.
I asked for free trousers as he admitted they made an error but he refused.
Very pricey, and as a regular customer I would expect errors to be corrected

Poor quality product very disappointed

Delivery was quick except for the fact I had to pay postage on delivery and then returns means I’m out of pocket £10!

14 days on from sending items back by recorded delivery I am still waiting for the refund.
