Completely irresponsible allowing the writes to do the "Sarah" pregnancy storyline. It's bad enough that they have a teenage character speak to grown adults in such a derogatory and obnoxious way, but the storyline has everyone pandering to the whining kneejerk demand for a baby considering the ramifications.
As a primetime show, this has had misandric overtones for a while, portraying men as weak or villainous, while female characters are violent or controlling with no questions or challenges.
This latest storyline is the absolute worst, throwing in coercing a young lad to be the donor (while denying him any parental rights), lying to doctors to get her own way with no check, and screaming at anyone who doesn't agree with her. It's just wrong.
To cap it off, I should add the Specsavers address that Emmerdale has commissioned with the aggressive 'Bev' threatening poor Barry or anyone she can't quite see, sold as a humourous reason to go to Specsavers!!
Please, if anyone at ITV does actually read this, wake up and realise that by just flipping the perceived roles so that women are more prominent, you've created a generation of women and girls that excuse domestic violence towards men as "payback".

Whoever proposed the idea of ‘Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters’ needs to be sacked on the spot. How ITV have gotten away with it is frankly astounding. Have we learnt nothing over the years? People even made the information and evidence readily available in documentaries such as ‘Blackfish’, ‘Seaspiracy’, ‘My Octopus Teacher’, ‘Blue Planet’, ‘Chasing Coral’, ‘End of the Line’, etc… essentially telling people to leave sea creature’s alone!
It’s disgusting; using sharks as play things/entertainment. If they did the same thing with any land mammal such as elephants, bears, giraffes… there’d be universal uproar and condemnation. It’s careless and bordering on animal abuse.
Shame on ITV and shame on the ‘celebrities’ for agreeing to take part!
They’ll look back one day and think ‘how barbaric’.

I am sick and tired of telling ITV that everyone does not like Football in fact I actively hate it.

Where are our Soaps? Having to take second place to the stupid so called game as usual. Soap fans are loyal supporters and viewers of ITV so why walk all over them. ITV doesn't listen or care.

Like so many other people commenting on how much sport especially Womens football is being shown of late, most nights, weekends, taking off favourite programmes and the like, disgusting. When one writes in, you either get ignored or an email stating they are sorry, but they have contracts to fullfill etc, etc. They also covered last nights itv news at 6pm on one story about the Post office, again its stupid and not right especially when they have a duty to cover other news. Something needs to be done.

Wretched ITV - pay to subscibe to 'Premium' then EVERY film I try and watch riddled with up to 10 commercial breaks. WHY ITV? Don't try and rip-off subscribers. Either give it free, or remove all the wretched breaks to subscribers

Awful channel another week of women's football sometimes 2 matches a day afternoon and evening. They even got football on Saturday and Sunday night this week. They take the soaps off to put football on. We got itv 2,3 and 4 put football on one of those channels. Gey your act together ITV you're a disgrace

I'm absolutely sick to the back teeth of womans football on the main channel ! I appreciate a minority would like to watch it so why don't you stick it on itv 4 at let us watch our emmerdale and coronation street in peace !

James Bond on again in same week same movie has itv run out of film s to show

ITV are having a laugh ...Women's Football Thursday and Friday night 3rd/4th July 2025 no soaps on at all, they know what they can do with Football....Men's or Women's, not everyone wants to watch it! I am sick and tired of ITV taking the soaps off to put Football on at night! they have other Channels, put the Football on one of them!

Repeat of The Chase and yet ANOTHER James Bond film. Saturday night tv, is absolutely terrible

Since week starting 9th June, 2025 ITV have been attempting to scare their viewers with a load of climate alarmism, so, there's no change there then, as they and other 'main-stream' broadcasters are all in this together, for as we've always suspected they all sing from the same hymn sheet?
Of course, the usual suspects are in the lineup, that being your car exhaust and gas boiler allegedly the principal cause of 'man-made' climate change and the Sun that heats planet Earth on a daily basis is conveniently and deliberately omitted: why is that?
ITV and the rest of the main-stream are quick to cite computer modelling as 'proof' of the unfolding climate catastrophe, however, this is not based upon real world 'in the field' research, it's simply a case of the data inputted into the computer is the data output that any political scientist wishes to regurgitate to an unsuspecting public at large to substantiate their research, so, it's entirely understandable why many within the public sphere are increasingly cynical about this whole thing laid out before them.
It's evident that ITV really do believe their viewers are so guileless that they will swallow everything they're told in much the same way a hungry little bird gulps down its corn, and that really is very sad indeed, isn't it?

Last Saturday I thought ITV had finally listened to their viewers and actually put a decent film on tv on a Saturday night, (Godzilla vs Kong) I was glued to film all the way through and was looking forward to seeing what was going to be on the following Saturday. And what a disappointment that was, yet again we had to endure yet another James Bond film. You can only watch James Bond so many times. Not everytime they need to put a film on. If it’s not James Bond then it’s Harry Potter. Have they got shares in these films or something? Whoever makes the choices of what films to show should be sacked because they obviously have not a clue about what the viewers want. Get a grip itv.

Thought I'd gone to RTE again today. Isn't it lucky that only the Irish have expert (and biased - Kevin) jockeys/pundits and we have carp commentators (Oli/Ed)? It's not as if WE have any famous BRITISH jockeys able to be pundits; is it?
THEN we have inane presenters digging out footballers/Chesney Hawkes/golfers.
Our standards are plunging in this country and it's not just the racing. Oli and Ed who say 'A' instead of 'a' and we have A-cute, A-nnoy and a b******ation of the English language. There's an IQ running around this studio looking for a place to roost.
