Insignis - simple and effective treasury management
Insignis is such a flexible platform to use for us to manage our treasury management processes. Once the platform is set up it is easy to see the rates available to you and to move money from one institution to another. The set up process is also incredibly straightforward.
The online support from the team is second to none and makes resolving any questions or queries really straightforward.

I used to recommend Insignis - not anymore
There was a time that I would recommend Insignis (and did on many occasions) however their service levels have fallen and they have failed to keep up with their competitors. Their charges are high, they no longer get access to the best rates, they don’t offer notifications when accounts mature or when funds become available, there is no app available, no message or contact information available on the customer portal and they take days to release the money. I’ve removed a considerable amount of cash over the course of the last year or so and either they haven’t even noticed or they just don’t care. By the end of the year, my last fixed bond will mature and I will close my account for good. I doubt Insignis will even send me an email

Incredible Customer Service
The customer service at Insignis is honestly the best I have ever experienced. I had a very stressful issue connected to a property purchase recently and rang to ask for help accessing my money quicker than expected. Both the women I spoke to were polite, kind, understanding and beyond helpful. They went above and beyond to help me and even rang me back to let me know as soon as they had. They are genuinely kind and willing to help which is honestly so unusual these days. It was such a comfort to get through to a real person at a UK call centre within minutes and receive such personal service. They are literally the opposite of 'computer says no', which was a huge relief during a very stressful time. I can't thank them, or recommend them, highly enough. Thank you so much to both the ladies I spoke to. Also, the platform is great and really easy to manage :)

Fabulous idea in principle BUT....
Fabulous idea in principle but the reality is a a very clunky service and painfully slow action times.
Eg: withdrew a large amount of cash from one of my instant access accts with them, there is no record of it on their platform, other than my my gross total includes the amount. Its somewhere in the either. Not good enough.
My advice: take note of these TP reviews, and check out the competion which score a lot higher than Insignis, for which there is a good reason.

For easy access products, our standard timeframe is to have funds back in your Insignis account by the next business day; this allows for funds to be returned by your chosen bank, reconciled, and checked for accuracy before they appear on your hub account.

48hrs and still no confirmation of receiving funds!
Recommended by my financial advisor, their admin and communication is terrible, I transferred funds that left my bank and 48 hrs later I have NO notice of funds arriving at Insignis, so as it stands with no email response from Insignis I have no idea where my funds are... In this time of frauds that is a very uncomfortable feeling!

Our Client Services team contacted you on the next available- working day, by phone and email, to confirm that your funds had been received and were available to place into your chosen product.
Insignis is a savings platform offering access to multiple banks and building societies, so funds move between us, oand our banking partners and your bank and are reconciled and verified before being reflected in your account. This is different from a single-bank platform, where transactions sit within one system, and can mean a short delayup to one working day before a new deposit is allocated to your account.visible.
We continually look to make improvements to our operating systems and processes, and improving transparency around where funds sit during this process is a focus for us.

A worryingly low level of audit trails & reconciliations
A good idea in principle, let down by clunky processes and lack of automation/integration.
I've withdrawn all my money from them as I've lost faith in the integrity of their business. It's very difficult to reconcile movement across accounts and their reports are inaccurate, which makes it even harder.
I found an error in one of their reports and queried it with them. They apologised and got the report changed. What worries me about this is a lack of control in the first place, and lax processes.
It appears as if there's a lot of manual back office work to keep things in order. One wonders how easy it might be for things to get badly out of control, or for someone to manipulate accounts for personal gain?
Be careful!

Thank you for raising this so clearly. Concerns about accuracy, reconciliation, and controls are serious ones, and I understand why finding an error would undermine your confidence.
We have extensive reconciliation controls in place around the protection of client funds. Historically, certain steps between our back-office ledger and the client view on the platform involved manual handling, and those steps have since been moved into automated processes, reducing the scope for the platform to produce an inaccurate report.
The error you identified was corrected once flagged, but it should not have reached you in that state, and I'm sorry that it did. As an FCA-regulated firm, the integrity of our records is fundamental, and feedback like yours is exactly what drives us to harden our processes further.
More recently we have launched updated statements on the client platform, which clients have told us make reconciling across accounts considerably more straightforward — directly addressing one of the points you raise.

Not impressed at all
Not impressed at all. We invested over £600,000 of my late mother's money. After she died, several of her investments matured and were held in the hub account, earning no interest. Also, the FSC guarantee was no longer valid as all the money was being held by Insignis! I complained and finally they offered a solution. Of all the investments requiring grant of probate, Insignis were 2 weeks later before releasing funds. Now they sat it will take until 10 June to close the account. Avoid them if possible!

Great concept but with several flaws in my experience.
It's a great concept and in the main works OK, however there seems to be a sizeable lag between when interest is due and when it shows in your account. It also takes days (rather than minutes as with other platforms) for a new account to be credited with funds or for an account closure to be fully processed. My guess is there is a lot of manual work going on in the background and it's not a fully integrated platform with their partner banks. I've also had several issues with missing or late interest payments and also Insigniscash taking ad hoc fees which were incorrect. I am sticking with them for the time being but they need to get their act together IMHO.
