IRG Repair Group Arvostelua 

Both Sophia in the office and Andrew, who collected and delivered my car to allow my repair to take place, were very professional and courteous. I was informed of what to expect, and clear arrangements were made in relation to collection and delivery. Excellent serviceand thank you very much

The service was excellent. The job was done without any fuss. The car was returned to me in four days and the work done looks like new.

Had a repair booked in at irg kingsnorton on the 23/11/2023, for a mineral white pearlescent finnish ( accident dammage ) .
The car went to Birmingham Kings Norton on the 11/12/2023, they had the car for 11 days, but no attemp to oversee the repair until 19/12/2023. To say I was shocked at such a delay is a quiet way of putting things.
Jim cavanagh was the estimator. I paid the excess when I dropped the car off on the 11/12/2023.
Estimate I'd number: v0395776, th job nu : 4644.
When I picked the car up it looked OK, ( not being a body work guy) but not cleaned or washed as promised. Over spray and paint marks on the interior and door rubbers .
Now 18 months on , I got a small scratch on the same offside rear 1/4 panel.
I dropped my car yesterday to a body shop in darlaston ( companies house registered ) to repair this.
I was shocked this morning to relieve a phone call and vide of work started to show original paint had after all this time not cured/dried properly nor adhered to the substrata as it should,
As they were trying to prep the area for repair the paint instead of being dusty was peeling off in swathes, hence the call at 08.30 this morning.
The body work initially was not prepped correctly by irg or cleaned correctly as these are just two of the reasons for this happening
I was informed that there was also a smell from the area rubbed again another reason verifying why the paint did not adhere.
Wrong paint type used being another factor, or a combination of all.
I will approach now the ombudsman to find out my next move against this cowboy firm of inadequate personel.

Very good experience after an annoying bump to my car. IRG were appointed by my insurers and were great to deal with. I dropped my car off, drove away in a their hire and I was contacted every two days until my car was ready for pick up. The work was good and I was very grateful for the valet of the interior of my car.

My car got taken in to get the back end repaired, Andrew was amazing thought the whole collection and drop of process.
Car came back clean in and outside.

Good communication from start to finish. Very helpful, it was an insurance claim so no cost to me as such. The guys in the workshop noticed a bit more damage than I initially noticed and sorted that also 👍. Good high standard of work and the car looked stunning on the outside when I collected it.
The extra 12 miles on the clock were a bit of a surprise but this may be normal for test drive purposes.
They will get repeat business from myself in the future. Thanks again

I would never use this company again. I wish I had just gone through my insurance company. My car has just come back with a scratch still in the same place. Still lights on the dash board. Pulls to the left every time I accelerate. Polish dust left in all the gaps. They say it has had a mini valet worth £25 pounds free of charge. Well this must of been carried out by stevie wonder. Dental floss and pick left in the cup holder. I use neither. A packet of empty fridge raiders left in the cup holder aswell. But I’m vegetarian. It also looks like a member of staff must of took there dog out in it as there is dry soil on the back seats. I don’t own a dog😂. Ruined my bank holiday weekend as I was told 2 different days by 2 different staff members as to when the car was being returned to my address. Turned up on Wednesday this week rather than th Thursday before.

I'm with Quote Me Happy car insurance & this company was a suggested company. I spoke on the company on a Thursday & a courtesy car was delivered & my car picked up the next day. Staff were polite & helpful when I rang for updates. I would recommend this company.
