CONSIDERING HIGH PRICE PAID FOR THIS ITEM I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED HAVING TO DISPOSE IT.
I bought the Mooodmoon Ingo Maurer light from MOHD. The external box clearly showed MOHD had bought it from Ingo Maurer Munich (Purchase order No: 2024-406677; order number 75187). It arrived with broken electronics (In one box) and badly scratched rods (in the second box), which FEDEX stated in the case of the latter was due to poor packaging.
I reached out to Ingo Maurer in Munich whose sales representative Kamila N. in writing stated: "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with Mollura, a retailer in Italy. Please note that the invoice does not come from Ingo Maurer GmbH, as we operate on a B2B basis only. We hope that you will consider cooperating with the local retailer in the future to ensure your warranty remains valid.".
This despite the fact that in the box you have a yellow note which clearly states to quote "Control: 245524" if you have to make a claim!!. Where does it say that buying the product from an authorised dealer in another country nullifies your warranty??
In addition I reached out to their social medial team and was promised by Hanna a social media team member on 25/1 that someone would contact me early the following week with a solution...needless to say no one has bothered!
The light fitting was about Euro 1020, so not inexpensive.What kind of quality control or after sales service does this company have?
This as especially as I also bought a Johnny B butterfly pendant as well and it arrived with its butterflies off the wire and looking super cheap (This cost in excess of 2000 Euros).
This company has a fancy instagram account online that suggests all products are hand made with care....Not my personal experience.
With their dreadful after sales service I suggest look elsewhere, especially considering their price point and do not be fooled by their marketing and social media!
My takeaway: Make sure you buy from a local trustworthy retailer who will be able to pressure them into finding a resolution, otherwise they will not feel accountable for your light being dysfunctional.
I bought a MOODMOON, which started to flicker, upon trying to find a fix *myself* not to bother them or Mohd I bought it from, they told me to buy a spare replacement part. Upon replacing the part, the light still had the same issue. I then had to pressure Mohd for months (leaving a bad review on here was the only thing that made them react) to get the lamp checked by Ingo Maurer.
They then shipped a replacement, which after a few months had the same issue. Now they seem to ignore my request for a fix.
It's a shame for these smaller companies to behave that way cause I fully lost trust in them and wont recommend their products for commercial jobs.
schlechter Kundenservice, Emails/Fragen werden auch nach öfteren Senden nicht beantwortet. Habe nun eine teuere Lampe, aber keine Ersatzbirne dafür, weil die Mitarbeiter wohl eher desinteressiert sind, Ihren Job zu machen.
Meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Designer für Lampen und Leuchtmittel.
