Booked for 7 nights to be close to relatives who live in Brisbane. I had read reviews so had some trepidation but it was the only caravan park in central Brisbane. I wasn’t wrong. The park is a disgrace. Mainly long-term dwellings it is a mix of newish homes and decrepit buildings and caravans. Rubbish everywhere. The ‘tourist’ caravan sites are in the far corner. Shabby sites and the amenities block beggared belief. It hadn’t been cleaned for four days when we arrived and still hadn’t been cleaned when we left the next day. We left after one night. The only good point was that reception was apologetic stating difficulty engaging cleaning staff and refunded us 5 days of our booking. I don’t like being so negative but ………

We arrived at site could get in 5 min late to book in. Rang number man came no welcome really didn’t like being disturbed. Given code to get through gate didn’t work. Eventually got to cabin so small. Didn’t stay found alternate a commutation. Would never book again at this site

INGENIA HOLIDAYS BRISBANE - TAIGUM

Booked online & the pictures were nothing like the reality check we received, room was old and out dated with no wifi or personal internet reception, we were told just to use the common area witch will have reception there. Could have offered a room change or at least tried to reset the connection. The room came with a table and a desk with NO chairs, bathroom was a very small space & even tho we kept all the windows closed we still kept getting moths in the room and the curtains looked as if they have never been washed, very poor cleaning. We stayed for 4 nights as we had obviously already paid in advance, luckily the only good thing about this place was the location & thankfully we didn’t actually have to spend to much of our time in that room….perhaps request a modern renovated room or don’t bother.

And I haven't even started the holiday yet!
I need to change some dates. I have spent over a week calling, emailing etc and got no reply. When I call, I get voicemail full , when I email I get nothing. A true customer service desert!
