I found the course okay but it was mostly reading. I would have liked some more videos to watch but it got the job done in the end..

I needed something I could fit around a full-time job and family, and this ticked all the boxes. The materials were clear and easy to work through at my own pace and whenever I had a question the support team got back to me quickly. What I liked most was being able to use what I was learning at work straight away. You do need a bit of self discipline with distance learning but it's worth it.

I enrolled in the International Career Institute (UK) with the hope of gaining valuable skills, but my experience has been far from what I expected. After completing only one test, I realized the course quality did not meet my expectations, and I was dissatisfied with the material and level of instruction. Despite this, I was charged repeatedly, even after I clearly communicated that I wanted to discontinue the course and had no intention of completing it.

During the summer of 2024, I noticed unauthorized charges of £50 being deducted from my account every week, despite me not continuing my studies. I contacted the institute to stop these payments and requested a refund, but they refused. They then informed me that if I did not pay the outstanding balance in full, they would take legal action.

I have now filed a formal complaint with Citizens Advice Consumer Service, and I am awaiting their guidance on how to proceed. I urge others to be cautious before enrolling in this institute, as my experience has been frustrating and financially damaging.
