Iceyarns Arvostelua 

Used to order from Iceyarn..the yarn in general is of good quality..but the " catch" for me living in Canada is the custom fees on top, of course ,of high shipping fee..so after "doing" the maths. I decided to stop ordering from them ..for now anyway..i can buy from other stores,local..plus other sites don't charge such a custom fee..eventhough i unsuscribed they emailed me again..with their usual " big promotion" slogans..

I love Ice Yarns. Yes the shipping costs are high, but the price of the yarn is very low. They are very quick to ship. Alawys well packaged. Customer service is outstanding!!

When I first ordered, I thought they sold it in packs of 6, but even though shipping was included, it was still cheaper than the one I bought here. I gave it a try and have been ordering from IceYarns.com for over a year now, and they never disappoint. The yarn quality is always excellent; soft, vibrant, and exactly as described. I've made everything I've ever made with Camilla Cotton. Their prices, especially for bulk purchases, are unbeatable. Despite being international, shipping is surprisingly fast, and everything is always well packaged. They delivered from Turkey to New York in just 3 days, which I was amazed by. I highly recommend it to yarn lovers!

Super Wolle...leider zu hohe lieferkosten

BUYER BEWARE!! This yarn is cheap for a reason. The fibers are not consistent coming off of the cake, some are extremely thin, others are fat. The photographs of the yarn on the website have been color enhanced apparently because what you receive does not match. The colors you receive are dull and flat. FORGET CUSTOMER SERVICE!! if you are lucky enough to get a reply through email, their preferred choice of communication, it will be met with an argumentative tone, disregarding your concerns. Subsequent emails, requesting refunds or exchanges will only get you surly replies. As others have said AVOID THIS COMPANY

Products great.
BUT they use UPS. who are the most unreliable delivery Co in the world advised of three separate delivery dates, no show! The Company just tell me to wait. No satisfactory solution.
Guess they got my money,why bother!

I have bought my iceyarn from Turkey for several years and quite satisfied with it no problems . I now the shipping seems high , but I was going to send for a batch in the UK. It would have cost £132.98 +shipping. From Turkey the same thing £79.00 including shipping. Since brexit, it now takes 6 weeks instead of 5 days , but I don't mind.

Habe am 31.12.2020 eine Bestellung gemacht und bis heute (11.03.2021) wurde nichts geliefert. Bislang habe ich mehrfach Mails an die Firma ICE geschrieben, mit der Bitte um Hilfe, aber auf keine Mail ist je geantwortet worden. Ich denke mal, das Geld für die Bestellung kann ich abschreiben und so wird diese erste Bestellung auch meine letzte sein.

I ordered £60 of wool on 24 November and there is still no sign of my package on 28 January. I have contacted them twice this year about this, and it seems there is no way of tracking where it is. Not impressed; indeed, rather sad, as the wool was to knit Christmas commissions. I used them in the past, but Brexit seems to have worked its "magic" on the only thing that has brought me joy during lockdown/Coivd-19.

I ordered four lots of sock yarns via their website . I have received goods within four days. I am living a village in Turkey. It is such a disappointment to open the packs to find out only one lot is a proper sock yarn- 75% superwash wool and 25% polyamid- others are not . They advertise 100% acrylic yarn, microfibre yarn as a sock yarn, they had just to put sock yarn stickers on the original label to send me. I have paid the sock yarn price to cheap yarns. I sent them a email , received no response. I tried to phone them several times no respond... At that point, I realised that even I had returned the goods Ice Yarns is not going to reimburse me. I'm quite disgusted with their unethical, unprofessional approach. I am really sad as a Turkish citizen that this Turkish company operates under Ice Yarn or Yun Cenneti. I really would strongly recommend NOT using them, Please avoid them at all costs.

Not worth ordering. I’m still waiting for my wool after 6 weeks. Various excuses Christmas/Covid/Brexit except the order was sent out from Turkey at the start of December. Tracking doesn’t even show it’s been received in the UK yet!! I’m told to contact them again in February. Having to cancel my knitting order from my customer now - very embarrassing - so if/when the wool does arrive it will be superfluous to requirements. Poor service wouldn’t recommend

They cheated! They ask for duty but don't pay! That's why I had to pay the duty twice! (2X~150$) They do not respond to emails...

I was pretty nervous about buying from this site, but for the price, I decided it was worth a try. I ordered 400g sock yarn, on the same day I placed an order from a US-based seller on Etsy. 6 days later, my order from Ice Yarns was on my doorstep, the one mailed in the US was not! Such a pleasant surprise. I tested the yarn and it was most definitely wool (I had been worried that for the price it may not be) and the swatch I knitted was one of the softest sock yarns I have tried in a long time. Overall I am thoroughly happy with my experience and am wondering where I can fit in more yarn storage for all the cheap yarn I can now buy.

Ville bestille garn og opdagede en voldsom stigning i prisen på fragt. Tillige er der pludselig et ekstra tillæg som de kalder “ import fee”
Jeg skrev til dem 2 gange, og spurgte om grunden til den forhøjede fragtpris og det nye “import fee”.
Min bestilling var på ca. 250 kr, så den overskred på ingen måde den grænse Told og Skat har for køb i Tyrkiet.
Begge gange fik jeg et svar der overhovedet ikke handlede om mine spørgsmål men bare en henvisning til deres hjemmeside.

det er lidt voldsomt, har tidligger handle ved Iceyarns da kunne man ca. regne med samme pris i fragt som man havde købt garn for, det ser ud til at være slut.

Customer service is BAD to say the least. No response to emails. They don`t bother to check where your package is going. They are willing to take your money but that`s about it.

Modtog min vare dagen efter den var bestilt i Tyrkiet. Selv med omkring 40-50 kr i fragt (og ekspres er det billigste med levering hjemme), er garnet stadig billigere end i Danmark.
Hjemmesiden er ikke verdens nemmeste at finde rundt i, men jeg kan kun anbefale den. Og især til de populære cakes med bomuld/akryl blanding

Fremragende........ Bestilte garn 8 september 2017, modtog det i dag 11 september - det er lige så hurtigt som nogle danske forretninger. Garn kvaliteten er fin, deres priser i bund og fragt er som forventet fra Tyrkiet. Kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Beware! I ordered yarn at the value of $18.00 plus additional shipping costs of $ 12.00. Only method of shipping offered by seller was shipping via TNT Express parcel service. One month after the cosignment arrived I was shocked to receive an additional bill by the transport company TNT, charging outrageous extra expenses of $ 23.00 for only the customs clearing of the consignment plus customs duties.

These additional expenses have NOT been part of the contract of purchase nor have they been specified by the seller neither before, during or after I have placed my order, by no means I would have placed an order with this seller if I had been aware of the transport company charges extra fees for customs clearing at an out of scale amount even higher that the value of the product I ordered.

I can absolutely NOT recommend to buy from this seller unless you live in Turkey and you don't have to deal with customs clearing after the import of your consignment to your country of destination. The seller does not want hear about it and hides behind the thinking he is not responsible for any additional expenses charged by the transport company he himself instructs with shipping his goods. Failed, iceyarns.com! Will never buy there again.
