Pepijn truly cares! He does a great job of listening to his client's needs and carefully figuring out the right tips to take his clients to the next level.

Pepijns coaching was great, we stated te session with some theory, so that you had somthing to wrok on in the water. When we went in the water Pepijn was on the side of the pool and was able to give is tips after every wave. Afterwards we anylised the video’s that he took. This one session has been very helpfull and will take my surfing to the next level!

Pepijn is een super surf coach! Ik surf al jaren en in twee uur heb ik super veel geleerd over m'n techniek. Hij kan er goed uitleggen en maakt alles visueel, zodat het begrijpelijk is voor iedereen.

I didn't really know if would like to have coach sessions, but this really changes surfing for me. Pepijn is giving focus on key points where I did not know I was struggling with. By focusing on this points, my surf sessions are much more interesting.

Great experience with Pepijn. He takes videos and discusses the form and technique. The ability to watch from my movements is invaluable.
He also made sure to send notes after the session so we can take a look at it.

I had my first session with Pepijn and I was surprised by the level of details he goes into. He was taking professional videos of me during the session so I can see my mistakes and improve. I’m a beginner surfer, I had many instructors before but Pepijn advises were spot on from the first minute. His approach is very well rounded in and out the water. He also shared notes and a training program to improve my stamina. I can’t wait for my next session!

I went on a 7-day coaching trip in France. I was amazed by how much i could learn from Pepijn in one week, even though i already had 18 years of surfing experience (without coaching). Pepijn is great at pinpointing what you can improve, without giving you the feeling you are a complete kook. I could actually see some improvement after 7 days already. Thanks Pepijn!

Went with Pepijn on a surf camp in Vieux-Boucau with 7 other surfers. The trip was really nice and I've learned a lot, definitely helped me to improve and also gives me enough to work on the coming period. Would absolutely recommend if you want to progress your surfing!

Let's start by saying Pepijn surfs really well. I saw him ripping somewhere in the Maldives and thought, I need to learn from this guy.
At the start of the coaching week it became instantly clear that Pepijn has many years of surf coaching experience. With his knowledge and personal approach, he took time to capture our surfing, analyse all material and give everyone personalized feedback on their surfing. I'm pretty sure everyone from the group learned some very valuable lessons.

I had a wonderful and educational week being coached by Pepijn at the location in Vieux-Boucau (France). Surfing for many years now, all self-taught, this week has -finally- opened my eyes towards the techniques (from the basics to the more advanced manoeuvres) behind surfing. With that, creating so much potential for further improvement and more fun. For each participant in the group Pepijn manages to exactly pinpoint where there's room for growth, actively coaching you on these areas during the week. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend getting coached by Pepijn. Thanks!

I attended the surf coaching with Pepijn in Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains (France) and it was very good. After surfing for more around 15 years and never attending a coaching surftrip this was, by far, the most effective way to improve my surfing. Pepijn is a really good coach and makes things simple to understand and push you in the right way to make you a better surfer. His ability to brake down surfing into simple but effective movements is what I have appreciated the most.
Absolutely recommended if you want to bring your surfing to the next level.

Had my first week of coaching after almost 20 years of self-taught-surfing. Super helpful to see yourself kook after video analysis and then start working on bits and pieces to simplify the process of surfing for a bunch of 'aha' moments leading up to a nice vertical top turn at the end of the week.

Wauw, this was such an amazing trip!! I don't know where to start by explaining why I loved it so much!
I intended on joining one coachingweek with Pepijn but I ended up staying for another week because I loved it so much!
The coaching was so helpfull! Pepijn is really good at explaining and he has so much knowledge. Besides that he makes you think about instead of only telling you what to do. I was happy that Pepijn has a lot of patience and is so excited about the ocean, surfing and surfskating. In the video analyses we learned from our own videos but also from the videos of the other members of the group. Pepijn also helped me to make a clear plan on surfing in my 1 on 1 with him.
I learned so much in these two weeks and I really know how to improve my surfing and I am so stoked to work on this! I also joined the Surf Academy Pro so Pepijn can give me feedback during the process of improving my surfing.
On the coaching trip I met so many nice people and some of them I already met back home again. The groups were so open and we had so much fun. We laughed so much and we were also vulnerable with eachother which made it a perfect combination!
I will work on the improving the surfing and when Im ready for new coaching I will for sure join another trip with Pepijn!

Vorige week heb ik met een goede vriend deelgenomen aan de coaching week van Pepijn in Vieux Boucau. Het was echt super! Leuke groep deelnemers met dezelfde mindset: veel surfen, veel plezier en veel leren! Lieve Surfinn staff die heerlijk eten maken. En natuurlijk waar we allemaal voor kwamen: Pepijn’s surf coaching. Er worden dagelijks videos gemaakt & die worden geanalyseerd. Je krijgt feedback in precies de stappen waar je tegen aanloopt. Bewegingen drillen op het droge, leren hoe surfskaten kan bijdragen aan je surfen & naast een 1 op 1 (waar je dieper ingaat op wat jou progressie kan bevorderen) kan je de hele week vragen stellen & van elkaar leren. In deze week heb ik de feel gekregen van waar de progressie voor mij ligt, nu is het tijd om te oefenen, oefenen & oefenen. De groepsdynamiek was top, tegen het einde van de week voelde het alsof we van surfen een teamsport hadden gemaakt! Heerlijk joelen als iemand weer toffe golf pakt!
Aanrader voor iedereen die een week met like-minded souls wil surfen & zijn surf progressie een duw in de goede richting wilt geven. Ik neem de handvaten mee om verder te oefenen & heb weer zulke lieve mooie mensen leren kennen. Dankjewel!

Together with my gf I joined Pepijn for a coaching week in Vieux Boucau. Best decision ever! Although the waves were higher then we ever surfed before, he gave us the confidence to paddle out and try to surf them.

He pointed out our mistakes in stance, positioning, paddling and gave a lot of tips on how to correct these during the video analysis (in group and 1 on 1).

In heb met een goede vriend deelgenomen aan een surfcoachweek in Frankrijk, wat een top ervaring was dat! Ik heb echt enorm veel gehad aan de video analyses en coaching van Pepijn, ik ben mij veel bewuster geworden van mijn surfhouding, hoe ik kan oefenen met turns en waar ik moet liggen in het water. De manier waarop gedurende de week vanalles op zijn plek viel was erg knap ingericht van Pepijn. Het mooiste was dat we gedurende de week met zijn allen als een team in het water lagen en elkaar aanmoedigden om golven te pakken, supertof hoe samen surfen ook een band schept. Al met al een topweek waarin maximaal is gesurft en daarbuiten maximaal relaxen met elkaar, kan het iedereen aanraden die zijn / haar surfen serieus wil verbeteren, maar ook een week omgeven wil zijn met alleen maar fijne mensen, zowel Pepijn en Surfinn crew als alle deelnemers :)

I would go for another week in a heartbeat! Pepijn gives constructive feedback throughout the week in which the video analysis is great (and fun!) the feedback is not only technical, but also concerns the mental part of surfing. Would 100% recommend!

We were very happy with the instructions of Pepijn. He allowed us to make a very good start in Surfskating. After 1 hour lesson we are now training on our own and looking forward to another lesson to show our progress!
He advised us on our first board and we are very satisfied with it!
We highly recommend Pepijn if you want to start in Surfskating!

What an amazing week! I'm still processing all the things we learned and the experiences we shared together. Missing it already❤️
Pepijn is easy going, extremely dedicated and an all round great coach. He is very knowledgeable and I liked how he broke down the information into smaller bits, demonstrated specific movements and used video analysis in the process. I'm glad that I now know exactly what my points of improvement are and how to improve them. I can't wait to continue practicing with the tips from the past week and keep becoming a more independent, confident surfer.
In preparation of the trip I hadn't thought that much about the group of people I'd be spending most of my time with for the week. But from the moment I met them I noticed there was something special. We were able to share our fears, frustrations and vulnerabilities from the very beginning. We listened to each other and supported each other. And of course, had many laughs together! Thank you, Pepijn for facilitating such a safe and open environment and for organising the whole week of coaching. I look back at the week with a big smile😊

P.s. when it was flat we had a surf skate lesson and I was pleasantly surprised! I thought I'd fall off immediately and hurt myself but Pepijn explained step by step how to stand on your board, fall, make turns etc. and it was very fun!
