Potential clients of Hunter Lawyers should be made aware that in the instance of a Damages-Based Agreement (’no win no fee’) claim with the company, despite strong encouragement from their legal team to proceed with your ‘very good case’ at the ‘free’ initial consultation, there is every possibility that once you have paid the required £500 (plus VAT) to have your papers ‘reviewed and assessed,’ the case may no longer look such an attractive proposition to them and they are less inclined to proceed on this basis without you incurring additional substantial costs.

After so many calls to different solicitors Hunter Lawyers provided me with a free consultation and really helped my situation on my employment problem.

Shocking service! I contacted Hunter Lawers regarding my case after being recommended by a family member. I received a call back advising that they could help and an appointment was arranged one week later for their Thornton-Cleveleys office (one hour's drive away). Ten minutes before that meeting I received a call stating the Solicitor had suddenly been taken ill and had to leave so, could they call me next week to rearrange the meeting when he was back in. No call was ever received. Each time I called to chase (over the next three weeks) I was advised that they would speak with the solicitor (as he was off that day) and re-arrange. Today on my final call to enquire why I cannot get an answer I was told they now cannot assist and that they had tried to call me last week but it did not connect?? Based on wasted time, phone calls and a two hour round trip I could not recommend this firm. The Latin phrase 'Nonus-tossus' seems to cover their client care.
