H.Samuel - York Arvostelua 

I brought three silver white stone nose studs which cost £19.99 plus warranty cover which was £3.75 to cover my purchase, a total of £23.74, with in two days the first stud broke, I moved onto the second stud and again with in two days it broke, I'm wearing the third stud but I don't hold out any hope of it lasting more than two days again, the warranty cover doesn't cover the studs unless all of the stud is brought back to the shop and of course because they broke i don't know where some of the stud is, H.samuel jewellery is such a rip off,cheaply made but expensive to buy, I will never buy from them again, I've learnt my lesson.
I'm adding to my original statement because as I thought the 3rd stud didn't last, it also broke within 3 days, so my advice to anyone reading this, don't buy anything from H Samuel it's cheap jewellery and won't last long.

Found what I wanted

Took my daughter to get her ears piercing today and Gabriella was amazing she discussed the whole process to us all. She kept ensuring my daughter was happy and confident and really made the whole experience a positive one. My son who was there for support was also kept involved she was fantastic! Very professional and caring.
Great choice of jewellery and aftercare service. Great price too!
Always the best service and jewellery here but extra credit today thank you so much ☺️

Bought some earings online had to take back as they were terrible value for money.
Greeted by a lovely lady Karen who went out of her way to help me, nothing to much trouble turns out the earings I purchased came in 3 different sizes ended up coming away with the ones I thought I was buying plus a very nice shopping experience.

Wish all shops had a Karen....

Very satisfying, got exactly what I needed and very polite.

We went into the York store and the two staff who served us could not have been more helpful. George and Krissie were friendly and knowledgeable and helped us to purchase a ring that was exactly right for my wife.

Grateful thanks to Sara for her wise advice re ear piercing, which was appropriate for me.

Took watch in for repair on 27 July to york store. Ruth told me it would be 2 weeks to fit a missing pin to the strap but I had to pay for 5 pins. 4 of which will be thrown away. Receipt and Ruth told me repair would be ready on 3 August. Heard nothing despite being told they’d ring when it was ready. Rang on 22 August to be told it hadn’t been done but could be repaired immediately and I collected it today. Why oh why does it take a customer to chase such poor service

Went in to purchase a watch for my son’s 21st. We were served by Courtney who was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. She was patient whilst retrieving various different watches from display. She offered good practical advice. After we made our selection she was quick and efficient altering the strap and then explaining the warranty that comes with the watch and the additional accidental cover which could also be taken. There was no pushiness just the facts and we were left to make our own minds up. Great result for us and excellent customer service, well done Courtney.

Went in today to get a ring either exchanged or larger size.

I was greeted and welcomed quickly by the manager and another colleague.

They were amazing at trying to solve our query.

The customer service was above and beyond, trying to call other stores to see if they had an exchange.

The level of service has made both me and my partner very confident in the company. Both employees should be notified of their great work.

For that, I will now leave my trust in the company and be returning for a long time.

Took my partners ring in for resizing and they lost a diamond out of it been trying to get InTouch with them for months there just not getting back InTouch with us

So I don’t really know anything about watches, but I was in the market for one and decided to look around the watch/jewellery shops in York, most treated me very poorly except this one! I had the pleasure of being served by Mason who was incredibly helpful and down to earth and put up with me looking through lots of different watches until I settled on one I wanted. It was very clear I didn’t know much about watches but he did not capitalise on that and try get me to buy the most expensive item which I appreciate. Any watches I buy in the future will definitely be through them, cannot recommend enough

Tried to sell us 2 year warranty when the watch already has a 2 year warranty.
Personally I think H Samuel could do with a new image or will end up going the way Woolworths went

My partner and I bought our wedding rings from h Samuel on 19th June. I don't know the name of the lady who helped us, but she was very lovely and astonishingly patient with my other half who was faffing about forever trying to decide what size he needed. We bought very plain traditional bands, just what we wanted. Can't wait to wear it :-)
