Howdens - Basildon Arvostelua 

We were having some building work done and wanted a really high end kitchen at good value. We decided that Howdens was the right place to go having shopped and looked around. Then we came across Steve Day who is the branch Manager at Pipps Hill, Basildon.

Steve was fantastic from the off providing a wonderful service not just in terms of coming round and measuring up because his team were all busy, but also offering tips and insights that only an experienced person would be able to recommend and offer for us. Steve was the deciding factor and an easy decision. Steve was attentive, gave us lots of time and given we were going via a contractor anyway, treated us as individuals on top of very busy and senior role running the branch.

It's clear Steve’s very experienced in kitchens and Howdens full stop. His ability to offer the additional value add surprised us in in the most positive way. Nothing was too much trouble. Steve was always on the end of a phone, Steve was always available for conversations and with any building project there's always nuances that that detract from the original plan. Steve was always there, he replied quickly, he put his team on to fixing these things I cannot say what a wonderful service not only on behalf of Howdens but Steve in particular provided on a number of occasions.

I had to go back to Howdens to get the builders some bits on a couple of occasions and when there I witnessed fantastic leadership from Steve with his team, fantastic customer service, offering a similar level of interaction and service to other end customers, not just trades. Steve really understands how to provide a high end high performing service; building a high performing ad functioning team and really following the values he believes Howdens should offer out to their contractors and customers. Thank you Steve you made a highly stressful experience a lot less stressful and we cannot thank you or recommend you enough on business level and personal level.

Saf at Howdens Basildon was brilliant at organising our new kitchen. She couldn’t do enough to help us and was very patient with any changes we wanted. She was very understanding about our personal circumstances and took the time to listen to what we wanted in the new kitchen. We’re very pleased with the quality of the kitchen and appliances. Delivery was on time and our fitter liaised very well with Saf. Thank you to Saf and Basildon Howdens. No hesitation in recommending them.

Staff are great and very knowledgeable. Don't mind taking calls from them especially when there's offers going.

Steve has been absolutely outstanding. From start to finish he has gone above and beyond to help us, give advice, and gave up so much time to speak to us and go through plans. Never experienced such a great service. We are absolutely over the moon with our kitchen and appliances. 100% recommend Basildon Howdens. Thank you so much.

I attended Howdens Basildon branch and already had a kitchen plan that I wasn't quite happy with but didn't know how to change it. From the first meeting I knew I was in good hands. They came up with ideas I couldn't see and by time I left I had a design that not only looked great but functioned much better. Nothing has been too much trouble all my questions, queries, any little problems (which have been few) have been resolved. Our new kitchen is installed and we love it, it looks amazing and you can see its really well made. I cannot recommend Steve at this branch highly enough he goes above and beyond.

I was sent to Steve to plan and quote for my kitchen and it had to be perfect for the extension.

Steve was brilliant all the way through, any changes that were required were made promptly and new plans drawn. Even with the changes this has never been any bother for Steve.

Since the kitchen, we have done 2 more plans for a garden room and now an office, and the service is top of league.

Yes, you will get damages and some errors, but quickly sorted and collected and delivered the next day.

Personally, if anyone was looking for a kitchen then I would only recommend one man. Steve at Howdens Basildon.
