Absolutely disgraceful they left my disabled child with ehcp plan with out appropriate provision for over 5 months now still no access to education refusing section 19 claiming they doing everything they can to support us .....

A despicable excuse for an organisation. Hounslow Council seem determined to charge people at every possible opportunity and squeeze money out of residents wherever they can.

The approach feels completely disproportionate and money-grabbing, with seemingly very little consideration for the people actually affected. Rather than operating like a public body that exists to serve its community, the experience feels like dealing with an organisation whose priority is simply finding another reason to issue a charge.

Absolutely pathetic. Those responsible for running this organisation should hold their heads in shame. Residents deserve far better.

It is impossible to talk to a person to resolve a very simple issue. You can only talk to a chatbot whom is totally useless & then hangs up, or go on a website that doesn't work. They make faulty towers look like a well oiled machine.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent support I received from Mark Perry, who works within the Local Land Charges team at Hounslow Council as a manager.

Throughout my dealings with the Council regarding property searches during the sale of my property, Mark was extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. He took the time to respond to my enquiries clearly and provided valuable guidance throughout the process.

One of the things I particularly appreciated was Mark’s transparency in explaining the Council’s current workload and providing realistic indications of expected turnaround times once a valid search request had been received. This helped me manage expectations and plan the next steps in my property transaction with greater confidence.

Mark demonstrated excellent customer service, patience, and a genuine willingness to assist. His approach reflects positively on both himself and the Land Charges team at Hounslow Council.

I would highly recommend Mark for his professionalism, communication skills, and commitment to helping residents and customers navigate the search process efficiently.

London hounslow council is rotten to the core they throw clients out of temporary accomodation without a section 184 notice they threaten clients jessica davey makes personal threats kojo awuku makes threats to deport customers from the uk jessica davey even got caught climbing Buckingham palace gates drunk she was arrested but not charged she disrespects uk citizens and forces the clients out into the streets I have all the texts from reception from flat 10 the view herschel st slough we have slough citizens advice on our side slough council on our side slough police on our side I even have the paper article on jessica davey they are also connected with trinity holy church in the council Chambers with revsally baily heenaba and Christian peter they steal clients money from them asking for help with visa and right of abode they take clients money from there debit cards and use a sumup machine to transfer clients money into the trinity holy church account then they print off false documents as right of abode application form with fake ukvi and uan numbers well now I will be having the council Chambers under police investigation with Scotland yard police I have also been in contact with a proffessional lawyer in luton that will be making further investigations about this issue

The repair department was brilliant this morning talked me through the electrics which had blown my partner is on palliative care they were lovely (Linda?)

Today I met a gentleman called Rahzel cleaning away the proliferation of weeds from the side of the highway. Not only was he working very hard but diligently and created a view of the roadside that I would expect from any civilised society. Spending a lot of time in China where this is the norm, it was refreshing to find someone in my home country trying to create a clean and tidy environment for us all to live in. If only the whole borough could look like this. We need more employees like Rahzel.

I spoke to Audrey ( waste, water) who was very helpful indeed and also Paula from Licensing who was also very helpful . Both went out of their way to give me information and contacts to sort out the problem I have . Thank you both

They don't always collect the bins. My garden bin was left last week and this week they haven't bothered collecting my rubbish bin which is full to the top and the weather is boiling hot. Where do I put my rubbish? I'd like to put it in the council headquarters and see how they like it. They're a load of rubbish.

Hounslow council is under investigation the person I was under kojo awuku tried to deport me an Australian from the UK he tells UK citizens who have right of abode they haven't been in the UK long enough to establish habitual residence we've been in the UK for 8 months he told us to register with a bank in the UK I have joined HSBC in Slough he told me to join a gp I did that in Slough at the Slough medical clinic so did my mother he told her to join a bank she joined nationwide then he says sorry we can't help you with accomodation he put us in Slough flat 10 the view no linen no blankets no pillows just a bad mattress and bad springs I've injured my arm and shoulder then he tries to illegally evict us but he doesn't know I know his full name kojo awuku from Ghana he thinks he can force UK citizens out there country he has been reported to Slough medical clinic and I have been told by a lawyer he cannot force anyone out of any temporary accomodation without a court order and a section 184 notice kojo awuku remember I have 30 plus years in management to all Hounslow council customers do your study take photos of your temporary accomodation write down your housing manager study that person online find out everything you need to know that way your one step ahead of these idiots that don't belong in the uk

Falling ceiling, crumbling interior walls, external alley not been cleaned for five years … I could go on. No response from initial email. Always an appalling service.

After overpaying my council tax bill by almost £400.00, I requested an immediate refund via the contact forms and provided my account details. I received an almost immediate response to my surprise given the 10 working day expectation guideline where the agent offered to give me credit in my new council tax bill or to reply if I wished to proceed with the refund. I responded same day telling them to proceed with the refund as I was moving house within the borough and the onus of council tax would fall on all tenants, whereas my last bill was solely mine so my refund was my money.

I received a response 10 working days after confirming the details of my new address and asking details of my past landlord - but no mention of my refund confirmation. I responded with the requested information and again asked about my refund. 20 days had then passed and radio silence.

I then managed to get access to my online council tax and could see my credit still there and no refund actioned, so I went ahead and requested the refund online with again, a guideline of 10 working days to process and get back to me. 16 working days pass by since my second refund request and over two months since my initial refund request and still no news. There’s no credit on my new council tax bill so I know they haven’t done that. If I’m late to pay my council tax by one single day, I get charged Bank of England interest rates but to get almost £400 back of my own money? Screw THEIR OWN guidelines, it’s whenever they want to give it.

I’ve written multiple complaints and even the complaints I was supposed to receive a response within 10 working days and, you guessed it, no news.

I finally decided I had enough and used my day off to try give them a call.

Now getting through to an actual agent is a nightmare. Hounslows system have a “virtual assistant” who does everything they can to not put you through to an actual human. I’ve never felt so close to a mental breakdown as I did trying to beg a robot to let me speak to an actual human. Even when that stupid virtual assistant says “you’d like to speak to an agent, is that correct” and you respond with ‘yes’. They do not put you through and simply state that the agents can’t deal with all your questions and they need to know what it’s about, but if you say anything else the virtual ‘assistant’ ends the call.

I tried getting through to a human for over an hour and only after shouting incoherently at the virtual assistant and it not understanding me enough times did I finally manage to escape hell on earth.

I was then put on hold for 30 minutes just for an advisor to tell me that those 10 working days guideline is basically a lie, and it usually takes up to a month to process. I don’t fault the agent on the phone as she was lovely, was able to look into my account and expedite my complaints and refund. But the whole process of trying to get my money back and trying to even get in touch with the council is a bloody nightmare when again, if you’re late even a day with your bill, you get fined, harassed with calls and letters and emails.

This is not okay at all. You increase the council tax amount every single year and can’t even abide by your own guidelines. It doesn’t take 3 months to process someone’s refund. And the fact that I haven’t heard back from a single complaint made despite their 10 working days deadline passing is truly abhorrent.

Worst website possible. I constantly have to reset my password and it still doesn’t work.

Hounslow Council has multiple website logins that lead nowhere. One for council tax, one for communication, another for each separate service, all disconnected. None work. Confusing and frustrating.

And then the waste collection. Residents are expected to sort different types of recycling, yet it ends up scattered across the streets and on driveways.

In winter, everything is soaked. Can this even be recycled at that point?

This is not a minor inconvenience. It’s a basic public service that should work.

What a disgraceful service. Bleak House.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star if i had the choice. Trying to say they caught me fly tipping i wasnt. I left a card board box outside when i came out there was a sticker on it instead of coming into the shop to ask they gave me fnp of £1000 i have evidence to show i have the box and it was not fly tipping but it isnt good enough.

I just checked how much is council tax for 26/27. This is fraud compare to the quality of service.
