We purchased the 450lt bin for a community garden, so you need a lot of waste to get it going. We have got it to 60c over two months and we are adding a large amount of waste once a week. So far so good, our plan is to keep feeding it until the end of the year and then leave it until April.

Thanks for sharing how your HOTBIN Mega 450 is getting on at the community garden! Reaching 60°C sounds really encouraging, and you’ve clearly been busy keeping it fed each week. I like the plan, you should have some amazing compost ready to go in April, if not sooner. Good work!
