hmv (UK) - Crawley Arvostelua

I bought the beta minecraft sound track and tbf was acc way happier then expected lool it was perfect when it arrived and loved it the delivery was fast too and I wasn't waiting long AT all, service while ordering too was great, people were nice and polite, and I DEFFO WILL USE AGAINNN

I ordered a Blu Ray online (Last Stop in Yuma County), and since it didn't qualify for free delivery I collected it from my local store.

On getting home I was very annoyed to see that I'd been sent a damaged copy, that had been opened, and looked like someone's return - placed inside of a plastic bag, no factory sealed wrapping, dents in the corner and surface of the slip cover, and the plastic sleeve on the inner case was wrinkled and bunched up, appearing to have been caught on the slip itself.

Took it back to the local store to exchange, and despite the computer showing 2 copies in stock neither was anywhere to be seen (the staff were very helpful but neither could find a copy).

Store had to order another copy in, which is fine, however the staff member bizarrely tried to charge me for the new copy, saying I could send the damaged one back through the website for a refund. Fortunately another employee stepped in and made the decision to use a gift card to pay for the replacement.

Several days later the replacement arrived and, happily, it was actually new.

I've spent literally thousands of pounds with HMV in the last 5 years alone, and 99% of the time everything is great. But this wasn't the first time I've been sent a used / damaged item. Very poor of HMV to do this - nothing wrong with reselling returned items, but they should be discounted.

I Ordered a bluray from the hmv in Crawley recently and the staff member that did the order was really nice and friendly and they were really helpful at keeping me informed about when it would be delivered to my flat and which day it would turn up on also it came to my flat quicker than I thought it would which made me a very happy customer indeed

The staff members in both stores were very professional and ask clear conscience information to be able to complete the transfer of the item bought from the store in England to Nothern Ireland . They explained about how it would be transferred within a few days and that the other store would hold it for 14 days .

Easy to find the item online I wanted, click & collect very good as the man in the store was quick to get my order, and the store is very good.

I purchased a £10 mystery box, expecting delight and goodness to be inside. But instead, I was met with despair and disappointment in the form of a Harry Potter 9 card challenge that a 2 year old could solve. Not only that, but I was met with 5 Jurassic park stickers to put on my vinyls, things that you listen to music with. The only saving grace was a Cobra Kai keychain and a Friends coaster. My disappointment is immeasurable and I do not recommend unless you what to go home with a loss of £10 and a pool of tears.

Excellent service at hmv crawley yet again all staff are awesome there. This time I had a great customer interaction with Ben M. Lovely chap. As for the item, im over the moon with it.

Was disappointed with my pre order experience.
When you pre order for pick up in store, I would expect the items to be available for collection on the day of release, not after this date, else what is the point of a pre order.
I could have visited my local store and purchased the items on the day of release, instead I had to wait almost 48 hours to be told they were available for collection. Not very good customer service really.
