hmv (UK) - Bristol Broadmead Arvostelua 

Quick and efficient order service. I was kept well informed with order confirmation, despatch and ready to collect emails. Helpful service from staff member at start of my enquiry checking whether item was available in store.

My autistic child wanted a cd. I took him to hmv bristol.
On entering tje shop l noted a member of staff staring at us with a vague blank expression making us uncomfortable.
No smile,no hello,nothing.
I said hello and still nothing..l said smile and was met with a vile sarcastic grin.

Regardless we went shopping. My son found his cd and took it to the member of staff above and paid.

We then made our exit.

As we exited the manager shouted at my son "are you going to pay for that cd" in front of numerous people..

A blatant accusation of theft..at a disabled child.

The manager aggressicvely snatched my autustic childs bought and paid for property from him causung him severe distress..

There are means and ways..The first being you ask....You dot NOT accuse..

Second you DO NOT SNATCH or become aggresive to a child.Especially an autistic child. Indeed l would question whether you should approach a a child at all. Perhaps you should of spoke to his parent first!

It seems the original.member of staff had suggested that my asking them to smile had made them uncomfortable...i would suggest a minimum requirement of a shop assistant would by a hello and a smile..

Tje reality is this shop assistant was predujice,biased and judgemental...Chosing to make us uncomfortable by staring and then accusing a disabled child of theft..

Disgraceful behaviour...

A person that works in a shop with tjis kind of predujice towards a dusabilty is freakish.

Visited HMV Bristol to buy a cd for my autistic child..

On entering the store l noted a member of staff was staring at us both making him feel uncomfortable. The staff member wasnt welcoming.
I smiled at them and said hello and was met by a blank stare. I said smile and they gave a nasty sarcastic smile back.We went to get the cd.

The courtesy of a hello and smile by shop staff l would of thought was the minimum requirement of persons employed in retail dealing with members if the public. Staring at an autistic child and making him uncomfortable isnt.

My son took his cd to this member of staff and paid them he took his reciept and we made our way out the door.
As we walk out the door the manager shouted across the floor in front of numerous people at my child.
"Are you going to pay for that cd".
He then snatched the cd out my sons hands..Bearing in mind we were out of the shop no alarms were sounded.
There are ways and means.
You ask for a reciept or proof of payment BEFORE making accusations NOT before.
Furthermore you do NOT snatch the bought and paid for belongings from a disabled child.
It turns out the member of staff that took my sons money was also the member of staff that accused him of stealing..
Stating that we made them feel uncomfortable..I asked the manager what we did to make them uncomfortable and was told they couldnt say.

Long story short if a member of staff cant smile and say hello to customers and then takes thier anger out on an autistic child when asked to they are indeed freaks that should look fir jobs where they dont mixed with people..

Message to the manager...If members of your staff want to make judgements on customers bassed on looks etc then thats victimisation..prejudice....that not acceptable..
Do you know how difficultit it can be getting a child with autism to go out?
Let alone go into a shop, get what they want and pay?
Youre not putting this on us..

Your member of staff and your behaviour was vile and disgraceful from the minute we walked in.

Great service in store- got everything sorted really quickly

I asked if they had a DVD I was looking for, they didn't have it in stock, but ordered it for me, I got a email saying it was ready to pick up, about 3 days later, very good service and a polite and helpful member of staff.

Delivered on time and arrived in good condition.

The shop did not have items instore, The lovely staff ordered on their system to arrive within less than a week for collection from their store

I'm writing this review so you can leave me the fück alone also stop using the royal mail since I and a lot of people tend to have issues with the royal mail. For example, customer service through HMV is good when you're buying the product. Royal mail is awful. I paid for three to five business working days for delivery. I got it 7 days after purchase and they told me it was 2 to 10 days to deliver it. So yeah I pretty much hate the royal mail and so does everyone. Other than that HMV very good.

Ordered a CD on 23 August. I didn’t expect it immediately, who does? Following day I got an email telling me it had been despatched. “Good News!” it began… Since then…tumbleweeds…dust…shifty looking vultures. Oh and two emails requesting a review. Nothing else. Over the last 50 years, I’ve bought literally hundreds of albums from HMV—I’m trying to keep them afloat and would rather keep a high street retailer of music going rather than pour money into the pockets of a man with a ten thousand year clock, if you know what I mean. I’ve tried to find a way to check for an update and can’t find it. Anywhere. It should be easy, easier than writing a stinging review. But guess what? It isn’t. Still at least they now have my donation.

Staff are very helpful. You got a great selection of music. Hope hmv stays open in Broadmead Bristol. So many shops have shutdown. Town won't be no good without a record shop. X

Ordered a dvd in the shop. Recieved an email from despatch to delivery . Fab. Staff in the shop were great . Definately 5 stars

I was looking for a few rareties today and i found them. Finding a flock of seagulls debut album remastered was awsom, and it was at a good price.

Love how you can order to store for free, and appreciate that the store will hold your order for 14 days. Good value for money and I like the HMV exclusive items (which is what I ordered). No queue at the till, helpful and friendly staff, and quick service in store.

The customer assistant who helped me was really informative and helpful. They also seemed lively and upbeat. Which made for a really good buying experience
