I was super nervous when I entered Harriet Kelsall to design an engagement ring for my partner. I was put at ease immediately by Alec, and taken through each of the different options available to me. I had quite strict timeframes to work within to which Alec was extremely understanding of.

I was incredibly impressed by the personable and professional service of Alec, who took the time to draw numerous designs (by hand!!) to help me truly visualise what the ring would look like. This really helped me to design a ring that I knew my partner (fiancee now!) would love and appreciate. Alec was also extremely kind throughout the time we designed the ring, and was really patient with me. I am beyond grateful for the service I received.

In addition to this, the team at HK were more than accommodating when it came to resizing. It was arranged extremely efficiently and it was ready to be picked up within days.

I had a beautiful green diamond ring designed by Kirsty who was very responsive to my evolving ideas. I'm really pleased with the final piece and have had loads of compliments already about the new sparkler on my finger!

Clear communication, able to meet online and in person to discuss specifics of design. Having never gone through the process before, design options and timelines were explained very clearly. Non-judgemental throughout, allowing me to lead discussions, but also drawing attention to certain points as needed.

We’ve had a really fantastic experience with Harriet Kelsall and I’d highly recommend them to everyone. I had spent a long time looking for the perfect engagement ring but couldn’t find the right thing, as someone who doesn’t wear much jewellery I felt a bit out of my depth but HK were really friendly and helped me to understand all of the different options. I brought a few basic ideas to them and our designer Georgia helped turn them into something that felt really personal and special. I wanted my fiancée to be a part of the design process but also wanted the proposal to be a surprise so they put together a really nice presentation box with beautiful sketches that I used to ask the question. It worked brilliantly, my fiancée loved it and also really enjoyed the process of finalising the design. We now have a piece of jewellery that’s completely unique and really beautiful. I couldn’t imagine a better outcome. We went back to get our wedding rings as well and had an equally great experience. I was a bit worried that going bespoke would end up being very expensive but it ended up being pretty good value, especially considering how happy we are with the end results, and throughout the process HK Jewellery were really transparent with costs so nothing came as a surprise. They were also really good at communicating with us the whole time, with regular emails to let us know what was happening. Excellent all round really!

We were really pleased with the beautiful rings made to our specifications and design ideas from wedding rings belonging to our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We appreciated the service from Abi and Guoste, keeping us in touch with progress on the rings. They were very good at interpreting our ideas into the designs to give us an individual design each which also conveys the family history and heritage behind the original rings.

Was great to be so involved in the creative process, Alec was very receptive to our suggestions and clearly takes pride in his work. A really beautiful end result!

I had a great experience meeting with Beth to design my wedding ring at the St Albans branch. I had been nervous about going bespoke because I had a budget of around £2k which felt quite small, but going to HK was great. We discussed my ideas and options that stayed with if my budget while managing to incorporate my choices of gold, coloured diamonds and engraving to create something really beautiful, unique and telling a story about my heritage and my tastes that I’m so happy with. The appointment there was relaxed, realistic and didn’t push me beyond my budget and I came away knowing I had a great ring that included everything I wanted

What a fabulous place, so helpful, patient and understanding. Abigail went to great lengths to draw up my perfect ring.
Abi kept in regular contact with me and the day I collected the ring I was overcome by how beautiful it was as well as the quality of the finished article. Abi made the whole thing a personal and memorable experience.

I am so happy with my bespoke piece designed by Alice from Harriet Kelsall. Alice was so kind and considerate throughout the whole process - she designed a beautiful ring with such care. I inherited some existing jewels that I wanted to create into a new piece and Alice took the brief and created something that I absolutely adore! The design consultation was excellent and the team really understood our vision of what we were looking for. The CAD designers and craftspeople then turned this into an amazing product that fit and exceeded our brief. Great transparency around communication, timing and costs throughout with great customer service.

I visited Harriet Kelsall recently for a re sizing on one ring and rework design of another. The studio is bright and airy and a very different experience to the High Street. You don't feel rushed in browsing or choosing designs/stones, they take their time to make sure you are completely happy going forward. Thank you Alice for looking after us!
