It was the first time I used your company and I was so impressed. I bought a newspaper book for my 90 yr old father and he loved it so much. This made me so happy so pleased I found you 😊

Fabulous experience!!!!

I placed my order late on Mon night for my Grandsons Birthday, I realised @ 6am on the Tues I had input the wrong message. I contacted Historic Newspapers before 7am,,,, and messaged in the afternoon to say my order couldn't be changed and there was nothing that could be done,, I cant believe my order had gone into production that quickly,,, If I had the money I eould re-order using the correct message,,, this was meant to be a special gift for my Grandson now I cant give him it,,, really upset they didnt even try to help,,

Great idea as a birthday present. Interesting to read all about the news on day of my birth! A little piece of history.

Three weeks before Father’s Day I was starting to fret about what to get my husband. Magically an ad for Historic Newspapers appeared in my Facebook feed and I took a leap of faith. The book showed up just before Father’s Day and I couldn’t be more pleased. The book is large and well done. The newspaper prints inside were intriguing and my husband has now spent hours reading through it. He’s even spent time reading through the other articles on the pages reliving those moments in time.

This book is SO worth the money! It’s a unique gift and a crazy wonderful idea. I ended up buying another one for my dad who absolutely loves his as well.

Such a nice idea. Bought this as a gift for father day and he loves it! Was well packed and presented nicely. Would recommend to anyone who is or has someone who is a huge fan of football.

Very disappointed with the reproduction quality of the newspapers, especially the older copies. This is a 90th birthday present for my mother. I doubt she will be able to read the earlier years due to the quality and microscopic size of the print. Think that I will also have to buy a very very strong magnifying glass. Shame. Disappointed.

The book is beautifully presented. It's very nice that there is a place to write an inscription inside. It's a great gift to give for a special occasion. Can't wait until my husband sees it. I am delighted with it. Thank you.

I placed an order on May 27th for a gift that was meant to arrive before June 10th because was for a birthday present. The order never arrived. I received a message from the delivery company stating that I had rejected the package, which was completely false — I was home that day and no one ever came.

I contacted the seller, and they responded saying the wrong address had been provided by them, and that they would resend the book. However, they never did, and eventually stopped replying to my messages altogether.

I would not recommend this site, as it clearly seems like a scam. They charged me nearly £70 and delivered absolutely nothing — then simply stopped offering any explanation or support or even a reimbursement. Completely unacceptable.

72 hours shipping from Scotland, UK to NJ, USA. That’s simply insane! How do you do that? The BEST shipping service anywhere I've ever been witness to.

I'm thrilled to say that I’ve received all the content and material I was looking for. Working with Dawn (and Claudia and now John) has been wonderful. I know I'm a bit of a difficult customer, yet Dawn has always been patient and understanding ... and so generous throughout the whole ordering/shipping process. A VERY happy customer here. I ordered 'birthday' copies of the NYT for two of my grandchildren. Both in their early 20's. First off, everyone commented on the sheer size of the newspaper. But to see the 2 20-yearolds holding the newspaper, the way we oldies had done in past times, was jaw dropping.

The news of the day(s) was regarding the post-9/11 war. Ah what we've learned since then!

Personally, perusing the different articles and the Classified section was entertaining.

Book arrived on time. First 82 pages are illegible due to poor quality tiny print which is smudged and missing in places.
Individual articles should be scanned and enlarged, with print quality checked, before printing.
Very poor, returning to company

It was shipped to me quickly but it doesn't detract in the slightest from the fact that I paid 33 quid for a 2-month old copy of The Guardian and 9 quid for shipping. But hey, when you have no other option, what can you do? They're the only game in town. They have you over a barrel.

I placed an order with Historic Newspapers to give as a 70th birthday gift. I chose the favorite band of the honoree as the topic.
The book arrived in less than a week, filled with headlines of the band, its members, and performances over the past 50 years. It came in a crisp presentation box, ordered separately, and with the dedication I had written visibly placed on the cover page.
On the day after the party where the gift had been given, I received a phone call from the recipient telling me how "blown away" he was by the gift, calling it "by far the best present" of all he had received. Truly, he will treasure this very special gift and I am very happy to have found, and dealt with, Historic Newspapers.

I bought this for my dad as a birthday gift. What a great gift it turned out to be! He loved it!

Bought as a gift for a friends 80th birthday,the newspaper arrived a few days later well packaged. Had a peek at it before giving and was really impressed with the quality of how the paper had obviously been stored for the last 80 years. It was delicate but totally intact and so surprised that there were no pictures on the front page. The recipient was delighted and I’m sure will have fun reading it all. They are quite a lot of money but worth it if you like history.

I recently ordered a product which arrived in a timely manner, but was not to my satisfaction. Following an email exchange, I was offered a replacement, voucher or full refund. I chose a refund, which was promptly processed. My experience of customer services has been excellent. I’d like to thank the team for resolving my query in a prompt and satisfactory manner.

Brought this as a 60th birthday present for a relative, as it looked fantastic & when delivered I was not disappointed it was unbelievable, full of information all about the club, starting out in black & white then moving into colour & well presentated & the recipient was so thrilled with it.

Sorry, wasn’t very impressed with this as it was just standard internals containing historical front covers from same date as selected, pre dating my daughters birth year so irrelevant for those first few pages and “first impressions count”. Also, all Daily Mirror headlines when would have been nice to mix it up (maybe I missed that part) and finally quality of the internal pages paper is poor like 1970’s school toilet paper (well not quite but it was the best analogy I could give). Disappointed to the point that I never even gifted and went straight to recycling. 0 stars

The books arrived and at least 25% is unreadable and the picture images are just black blobs. Complained but said it was the age of the newspapers, but that can't be the case as some are ok and some not. The photocopying hasn't been checked. Waste of money as we are unable to gift this. No refund offered and arrived 4 days too late for the event.
