HiQ Tyres & Autocare - Northwich Arvostelua 

LooHad my car air con re-gassed abut 4-5 month ago and apparently they say they check for leaks and lubricant too, so no problem had it bone to a cost of £85 worked for a week and then did not need it until a week ago when weather got warm and tried it and it blow out hot air, not even lasted 12 month not bothered to go back to have the hassle of dealing with idiots and been told it something wrong which they should have checked all Anita was fine but never there crap bad job. SO DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY WAIST OF TIME NOT RECOMMENDED.

3 weeks later I got this response from there wonderful customer service,
On the lower section of your invoice CUSTOMER ADVISORIES STATES: THE AIRCON ON YOUR CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED TODAY AND IS WORKING OK. HOWEVER OVERALL CONDITION OF THE SYSTEM CANNOT BE GUARANTEED AND LEAKAGE OF THE REFRIGERANT GAS MAY OCCUR, REQUIRING FURTHER REPAIRS.
Your ac system underwent a recovery of gas, a vacuum of the ac system for 30 minutes which allowed us to regas your ac system. If there had been any ac gas leaks through the vacuum stage of the process the ac machine would not allow us to regas the system,
During this process there are visual checks for the condition of the condenser, ac pipework and compressor and an internal car check to make sure all ac power buttons work. If your Ac system hadn't regassed successfully you would not have been charged for the service, If you had called earlier than nearly 11 months after the ac service we would have gladly looked at any possible underlying faults within the ac system free of charge.
Possible faults: Ac pressure switch
ac compressor
hole or leak in the ac condenser
break in ac pipework

So think twice before you go to these guys they just plug it in the machine or computer and if it says yes and if no they don't do anything else as they say they do or look at and cover them self's by giving advisory. I have got it done by a professional came to my house and fully explained what he is going to do and if any issues it be bo charge, don't go to these cowboys.

very pleasant experience at HiQ Northwich for my MOT.

went in saturday morning for my MOT and once i’d returned to collect my car, i was told that my car had unfortunately failed it’s MOT. when i asked what id failed on, i was told it was my horn which surprised me because i knew it worked and even used it on the way there!!

to be honest, i was initially very annoyed! however the woman in the store was absolutely brilliant and told me that if i was so sure it worked then i was more than welcome to give it a try before leaving.

when i went to my car and sounded the horn, it did in fact work straight away and i was immediately reissued a new MOT to represent that my horn did in fact work and my car had passed it’s MOT.

the only frustrating part is that i have a fail on my MOT history now which shouldn’t be there, but in reality mistakes are made and as long as they’re rectified it’s no problem at all.

it’s no different to a barista giving you the wrong milk but fixing it as soon as you say something!! i’ve seen a lot of harsh reviews on HiQ but i think people are just forgetting that we’re all human!!!

maybe a discounted MOT would’ve been a nice gesture though…

I brought my car in for an MOT and handbrake to be fixed, they fixed it and I went away with a working car. When it came to costs before they started on my car they quoted me a price and I asked if it includes VAT, they said yes..... When I come to collect and pay; the cost had gone up, they said it was for VAT, they original price was for cash in hand, bypassing tax

I would highly recommend using HiQ Northwich.
They were very reasonable price wise and the communication was excellent.
They kept me informed of when my tyres would arrive, phoning me once they had an arrived to arrange a fit time and completed the job within the timescale quoted.
All in the same day

New tyre fitted after pothole damage.
Competitive, all inclusive price (unlike others).
Service was excellent and staff friendly and welcoming.
Will be my first port of call, if needed again.

Can't fault them. The whole booking process was easy online, spoke to the manager on the phone before booking and he was very helpful. Availability was great, price reasonable and my car was in and out in 3 hours with a full service, MOT, 2x tyre fitted and tracking. I was very impressed. Thank you.

I took my car to them recently for an MOT and to have two tyres changed because it is now my closest garage. I was very pleased with the service and the staff are friendly. I think their prices are competitive. I will definitely be taking my car to them in the future.

I ordered a full set of 4 tyres online on the Hi-Q website for fitment at the Northwich site. Prices were the most competitive I could find and cheaper than ringing up. I was given a choice of 4 hour time slots to have the tyres fitted and chose an 8.00 am to 12.00 noon time slot. I rang the branch at 8.00 am on the day fitment was due for a more precise time. They gave me a time of 11.00 am. I would recommend doing this if you need to save time. Everything was done on time and to a high standard.

I can't thank Dave enough, having been without a car for weeks following an accident, I borrowed my Dads only for the exhaust to fall off....feeling like the world had ended I rang Dave who quickly reassured me and booked the car in. A few hrs later all done and dusted and he put my mind at rest that nothing else was likely to fall off soon!!! Another 5* service, thanks guys, you are the best in Northwich.

Great service and advice from the guy who dealt with me. He gave an honest opinion and did not try to exploit me into buying products, which weren't required.

Chose my tyres on the excellent web site, arranged for fitting at my local depot the next day, phoned them in the morning for a convenient time. Went for a coffee while they were fitted.
No hassle, quick service, very helpful staff and a good laugh thrown in for free.
Depot used was Northwich.
