I have been offered a refund after ups completed an investigation which proved the parcel was tampered with. I’ve had to send original packaging back to hexter and baines which is the only pointless part of this process as it just longs it out even more. However I’m sure there’s good reasoning behind this. The parcel is now with Hexter and baines and I will complete the review once this whole process is dealt with. I do wish this process was dealt with quicker as it got to the point where I thought it was just brushed aside and I had to buy another gift ontop of the £450 already spent and would’ve just rathered the original gift idea. However knowing I can now trust their process I hope to buy from them soon hopefully with a much more positive outcome]**

I ordered a watch about 3-4 weeks ago and paid for fast delivery as it was my girlfriend's birthday. The parcel was almost delayed and went out for delivery twice (fist time the driver had no time left to make the delivery). Once i collected my parcel from a ups pickup point at my local shop i noticed the cardboard was folded and box was deformed. Upon further inspection the box was stolen. Please note i took as much photo evidence as possible. i contacted hexter and baines and they said to contact ups to make a claim. on the ups claim page the only option they gave me was to contact the sender. At first the responses were great and i felt assured this would be dealt with. Now 3 weeks later and their response's are slow and they keep going around the same subject of them trying to contact ups. this just seems like a dead end and £450 down the drain. the most annoying factor about this is my girlfriend really wanted the watch which was supposed to be a surprise but i had to explain the reason why i was empty handed and assure her hexter and baines would send a replacement as soon as they can.

Nice boxes and the kit is great. Very clever to have jewelery that fits. So many nice products so it is hard to pick the right watch. Maybe i will buy one more(,")

After a little problem I had a new watch shipped to me so I can enjoy it.

Die Uhr ist qualitativ und optisch sehr gut. Das kürzen des Armbands hat mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug sehr gut funktioniert.

Nadat ik hem in juni 2022 heb gekregen heb ik op 16 feb 2024 het batterij laten vervangen omdat het uurwerk stil stond. Ik heb er nog geen 2 dagen lol van gehad of het uurwerk stond weer stil. Heb het horloge links gelegd. 29 juni 2024 weer een batterij laten vervangen bij een andere juwelier. En dit heeft 1 dag geduurd en het uurwerk stond weer stil. Op aankopen via het internet zit standaard 2 jaar garantie. Nu liep de garantie 30 juni 2024 af. Maar heb een mail gestuurd naar hexterandbaines....niemand thuis. Contact is lastig te maken en een reactie op de mail blijft uit. Al met al een horloge van €100,- euro en het uurwerk binnen 2 jaar kapot. Bijzonder. Kan nog beter een goedkope aanschaffen. Baal enorm...was mijn verjaardagscadeau. Slecht dat zo bedrijf zo slecht te bereiken is en nooit heeft gereageerd.

Ze hebben gereageerd en hebben een nw horloge opgestuurd. Ben verder super geholpen. Fijn dat we elkaar via hier gevonden hebben en toch tot een top oplossing zijn gekomen.

Watch looks expensive and is very well made I love it

Ich werde meine Bewertung nach Aufforderung von Hexter and Bains nicht zurück nehmen, weil ich meine Erstattung erhalten habe.
Fakt ist, die Garantiebedingungen sind für ein Onlineshop völlig inakzeptabel.
Man darf die Schutzfolie nicht entfernen, um ein Gefühl der Haptik zubekommen.
Fehlende Informationen bei der Produktbeschreibung.
Bilder die mit Fotoshooting bearbeitet wurden und die Uhr zum glänzen bringen, was in Natur dann nicht annähernd gegeben ist.
Für eine Schmuckuhr mit einfachen Mineralglas total überteuert.

The watch is great, it was a gift for my daughter and she damaged the wrist band. Hexter and Baines did not hesitate to replace it for free which is outstanding! Thanks a lot, this is how business and support should be!!!

Watch is beautiful, delivery smooth but I must disagree that the packaging is gorgeous. Pretty box but my daughter paid extra for it to be ‘ gift wrapped’. We all know what that is like but in the event it was just a small paper bag folded in the packaging!!!
To charge pounds for that is criminal. What a shame!

Die Uhr ist wunderschön. Elegant und doch alltagstauglich. Leider ist sie ein Geschenk, aber vielleicht gönne ich mir diese Uhr auch selbst noch...Lediglich die Garantiekarte fehlt. Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Ich bin begeistert!
