Car wasn’t ready. Waited 2.5 hours for it

I need a refund immediately for the underage charge. I recently completed a rental in the DCA Hertz, confirmation code L712ED58707, and I noticed I was charged an underage renter fee after I returned the vehicle however I prepaid for this rental in full, and no underage driver fee was mentioned or shown during checkout or at the pickup counter. I was actually a fully registered AAA member prior to this rental, but I didn't see a spot to enter my AAA discount code when booking and no underage fee was mentioned or shown when i booked. The live customer service agent was extremely poor and did not help resolve this issue and refund. Unacceptable.

Hertz DCA is the worst rental car experience I received in YEARS. I rent a car at least once per month. The first time I tried to pick up the car we were refused service (there were 15 of us in line, yes it was late, but you work for TRAVELERS). When I returned the next day I was delayed one hour because the attendant needed a manager authorization in the computer. The manager of Hertz DCA is clearly NOT AVAILABLE.

It took 45 minutes to get out of the garage. The AI tube seemed to slow things down and there were not enough people working on a Friday afternoon. That's absolutely unacceptable. Then, on the way to drop off, the cars were backed up all the way to the AI tube. Get rid of these ridiculous things, you're wasting massive resources doing this and it's completely unnecessary and leads to a bad pick up and drop off experience.

Great check in and drop off. Clean car. Full of gas. Car rental price was a little high. Otherwise perfect.

I arrived to pick up my vehicle from the President's Circle but there were no vehicles in the size I reserved. I asked the attendant and she quickly found me a vehicle that I could use that matched my preference. The team here was clearly very busy but she was able to resolve my issue quickly and with a great attitude.

Renting was easy as usual but on my return I was charged $16 for fueleven tho I filled the tank up before returning

I prepaid for my car rental. I really liked the savings that went with it. Pickup and delivery of my rental was a little more difficult. First, the electronic board with my name on it asked me to check in with the desk. That was a 30-minute wait to get through the line because only one customer service representative was there to check you in. Second, once I was given my keys to pick up my rental, the car was not clean. Lastly, it took over one 1/2 hours for me to finally be on my way with my rental. Hertz should be able to expedite the service end of the experience for those who have prepaid for their car rental.

Given a rental vehicle with a lot of damage on it

For the second trip in a row we are under impressed with our choice of cars in the President row.

I tried to extend the car like 30 minutes to an hour, and the customer service rep was rude. The hurricane in Florida produced heavy rain in Penn and delayed my time frame a bit.

Was told I could get any car and when I went to get a car the employee I couldn’t get the car I wanted though it wasn’t in the reserved section.

The car was there.
The car was clean.
The car's odor was OK.
They checked me out faster than ususal.

As an AMEX platinum member, to have associated Gold status with Hertz has been very useful esp with frequent travels.

Nice car. Easy pickup. Less easy getting out of the lot.
I had many invitations to enter necessary information via email and text prior to arrival. However, upon attempting to do so I received a message that no further info was required.

When I tried to leave the lot I had to spend 10 minutes with the attendant. There is some communication error in software or processing

Prompt response to a mistake with resolution just a few days later.
