The folks at Hertz in Highland made this an easy rental with super quick service. The car given to us had a full tank of gas, was clean, and super updated to today’s standards with safety, etc.
I had to keep renewing my rental because my repair shop was delaying completing the work on my car. It was easy to re-new the rental.

Most uncomfortable experience
Checking in the vehicle I chose wasn’t available Kia k4 I instead got a Nissan. No problem my only issue was the front rep that checked me out my credit card wasn’t working so I chose to use my debit card aware of the hold and completely okay. The rep had to stay over by 15 minutes until 5:15pm to complete checking me out he was livid he was swearing saying it was f***ing ridiculous he wasn’t trying it again if it didn’t clear and I would need to leave. Even while collecting my debit card and license he snatched them away from my hand completely rude and unprofessional especially as a man I felt very uncomfortable. I let it go on because as a single woman I choose my battles I honestly would never recommend the location Highland, IN and have never experienced anything like it.

I had to keep renewing my rental…
I had to keep renewing my rental because my repair shop was delaying completing the work on my car. It was easy to re-new the rental.

The car was almost brand new. It drove very well and it was very clean. The customer service was also excellent

Customer service at this location is…happy with the services at this location
Customer service at this location is great so far so good I have had no issues I love the fact that they actually go outside check the vehicle for any damages before I get into the vehicle take pictures and send me a copy of those pictures within my end of reservation when I was going to the location in Merrillville they did nothing they were very lazy very unprofessional and I am so grateful that this location is at the top of their game the cars are clean no issues thank you everyone that works at the highland location

I received a smaller basic car than I…
I received a smaller basic car than I paid for. I got out of town and the car sent notification it needed an oil change. I spent 2 or more hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a dealer who could service the car. Finally after escalating the ticket to a manager was told to find a dealer and send in the receipt. I hope I get my refund without further delay

The check-in and check-out procedure went quickly and the car I received was spotlessly clean and a wonderful ride. Made my drive to my sister's in Kentucky a wonderful experience. I just wish someone could have told me more about the accessories in the car, like cruise control. I never did figure that out and didn't have enough time to look through the manual since I was on a tight schedule.
