Rented from the Hertz Brighton location twice both times great experience. Fast check in and check out!

Been renting a car from hertz for multiple weeks due to truck in the shop for repairs, and Lucas has been very professional, friendly, and expedited the process on my lunch time! Cars are clean, and ready to go when you arrive!

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wish their was more selection seems there were some recalls on cars and could not be rented. also you do not honor online price for upgrade and charged me more on site when i upgraded

Car was clean and ready for me upon arrival. Only issue I turned vehicle in the day before return time after hours and received multiple extend rental period the next day.

They charged me for my spouse to drive then said we smoked in car w no evidence and charged me 400 will never rent from them again

I gave two stars because number one I was going to book on Priceline at a cheaper rate and then the staff told me that because they didn’t have the vehicles I would have to pay a higher rate to get a vehicle that I didn’t want. I ended up booking at the higher rate and they didn’t have my vehicle anyways then they ended up giving me a different vehicle and lowering the price which was fine. I asked for a pick up. They said they were shortstaffed even though my pick up location was within the radius by the time I called an Uber. They called and said they had somebody and it was too late. The car was fine. The Mustang was actually a pretty cool car upon return come to find out that I guess I was a little bit outside of the radius ( being a different location than my original p/u) and they would not budge on the delivery. This location is extremely hard to find an Uber or a Lyft. When the manager got involved he tried to belittle me, saying that you could’ve been smarter and tried to make pick up accommodations, knowing that it was outside of the area and I told him that the original pick up I was in the area.it had nothing to do with a radius problem. It was a staff shortage problem, which really pissed me off so I would never use Hertz again just because of the interaction with that manager.
