Hellenic Bank Arvostelua 50

Unacceptable behaviour, was holding my money for no reason and absolutely ruined my new year holidays, thanks Hellenic bank, you shown how people shouldn’t be treated really well. The worst service ever.

I have been banking with Hellenic Bank for one year and have been asked to pay an investigation fee of €60 for an international transfer that has not been successfully executed on their behalf and with no explanation as to where the funds may be. After numerous emails back and forth and 10 days since the transfer date (normally takes up-to 2 working days), I have yet receive the missing funds.

Πήγα στο παράρτημα της Hellenic Bank στον Πύργο Λεμεσού. Δέκα λεπτά αφότου μπήκα μέσα στην τράπεζα 12.30 κόπηκε το ρεύμα. Ήθελε η μητέρα μου να κάνει μεταφορά χρημάτων από το λογαριασμό της. Ενώ οι υπολογιστές εξακολουθούσαν να λειτουργούν σταμάτησαν να εξυπηρετούν τους πελάτες. Συγκεκριμένα η κοπέλα στο ταμείο, καθώς εξυπηρετούσε τη μητέρα μου κι εμένα, μας άφησε στη μέση για να τηλεφωνήσει σε συνάδελφό της και να σχολιάζει το γιατί κόπηκε το ρεύμα, αν έχει κακοκαιρία πάνω στα βουνά και στα λαγκάδια και πότε θα έρθει το ρεύμα χωρίς καν να μας πει το οτιδήποτε. Στη συνέχεια μας παρέπεμψε σε άλλο συνάδελφό της για να μας εξυπηρετήσει, για να διαπιστωθεί ότι δεν είχαν τυπωμένες τις φόρμες για τη μεταφορά χρημάτων και οι εκτυπωτές τους δεν τύπωναν. Δεν είχαν τυπωμένη ούτε μια φόρμα. Όπως μας είπαν αυτό οφειλόταν γιατί έχουν ρητές εντολές να μην έχουν τυπωμένες τις φόρμες. Καλή μέρα για τους υπαλλήλους της τράπεζας Πύργου, γιατί σχόλασαν πριν τις 1μμ. Κακή μέρα για τους πελάτες που πήραμε άδεια από τη δουλειά για να πάμε στην τράπεζα και δεν κατέστη δυνατό να εξυπηρετηθούμε.

I have lost a transfer done by the bank and after 2.5 months still no concrete date about the return of the funds to my account.
Many failed promises given, any respectful bank would have resolved the matter and then chased his intermediaries.
I have been asked to submit claims online, ask for the return of funds and other actions which were all done without any result.
The bank service representative does not give the right attention and the remittance officer that is suppused to be on the matter keeps failing with his given timelines.

They make the easy difficult without reason. When you join your internet account you must put ex the 2nd,3rd,5th digits of your id , after again they ask you the 1st,2nd,8th digit of your birth date when previously asked you to verify your mob number. I should write down in a text editor these information and after to check carefully the digits fast because they have and Time Out. They make even difficult for the owner. Not suggested to have account with this bank. Also when i go ATM at weekends, many times ATM is out of cash and i must come again back on Mondays.

Compared to my lousy bank in the UK (smile - should rename as grimace) its 5*. Hellenic has improved quite a bit since I moved from BoC so worthy today of 3*

They just held my money for no reason. There were no emails or smth; they just held it. Trying to find the truth (and my funds).
Wierd service (no service some time).
Good call centre but, in my case, useless.
However, I like the new application. Unfortunately, the application is not enough.

I lived in Cyprus for 3 years and every time that I had some issue, it took them forever to help.
On top of that, once, I even failed in the verification test since they made a mistake in my home address and I had to drive all the way to Limassol to identify myself so I can get any service.
It's like working with a bank from the 60's.

WORST BANK THAT I HAVE NEVER SEEN!! Don’t open your account in this bank.
