It was my first time and I didn't know what to expect! The team made me very welcome and I really enjoyed the experience, can't wait to try another one

My fourth event with Haunting nights and it won’t be my last. The team - Lucy, Camilla and James were great - so friendly and knowledgable and great hosts all round. The ghost hunt went really well at Thorne Workhouse with loads of activity - if you’re interested in the paranormal or just something a bit different I’d really recommend Haunting Nights - it’s great fun all round!

My friend and I visited the Rifles Museum in Salisbury last night for an event with Haunting Nights, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The team were waiting outside to greet us, which immediately made us feel welcome.
The group size was around 20 people, which was perfect—much more enjoyable than the 40+ groups we’ve experienced with other organisers. There was a great range of equipment available for us to use, which really added to the night.
We were split into two groups and treated as like-minded enthusiasts, rather than being overly managed like we’ve experienced elsewhere. We had the freedom to carry out our own investigations, while also being able to join the main group whenever we wanted.
Whenever we joined the group activities, it was clear the team were genuinely passionate and committed to giving everyone the best possible experience.
Overall, it was a brilliant night and we’re already looking forward to booking another event with Haunting Nights soon. Thank you!

Wow, that's what an absolutely incredible experience we had last night at The Rifles Museum, Salisbury with the team Paul & Rachael. My friend from work, Tina, and I, Becca, enjoyed ourselves so much for our first hunt. We've had so much paranormal experience in the past and have always dreamed of hunting in person rather than watching behind a screen. It felt so surreal to actually take part and gather as much evidence as we did. And to take part in experiments and using equipment. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for such a good time and good laughs, can't wait to attend more in the near future! Getting our bookings in!

We really enjoyed our ghost hunt at Northleach Prison. We hadn't been to anything like this before so were unsure what to expect but we found this experience really good. Lots of activities, really friendly hosts and well organised. Although there was just a small amount of spirit activity we weren't disappointed as it shows it was authentic and the hosts didn't try to contrive anything. We'd definitely go to another event.

northleach prison started off quiet but soon we had activitie was disliked by someone who came through the Ouija board and was told to piss off by Dom the spirit great hosts definitely do again so far this is my 3rd hunt still searching for the unknown

Myself and a friend were booked onto the Lancaster interactive ghost walk last Friday, 10th April. My friend was travelling from Liverpool for a weekend away.

I admit I only saw that we would need to drive a short distance in convoy from Lancaster Castle to Williamson Park after I'd booked us on. I am registered blind and this was in the middle of plain text which I had missed. Neither of us drive but my friend provides sighted assistance for me on our trips.

Not wanting to miss out, I asked a member of the Haunting Nights team if there was any way we could catch a lift with someone for that short distance on the night. I would be able to get taxis for us both to and from the start and end point.

I was told they'd call back if this was possible after contacting the organiser. I gave it a few days and chased this, explaining that we needed to know so that we could make alternative plans if necessary.

I got no final answer so we abandoned the walk and went somewhere else for the weekend so my friend did not have a wasted journey.

To be fair, it could well be that the walk was fabulous, the staff were great and it was all jolly good fun. We cannot judge this sadly as we were annoyed at being left in limbo and felt we needed to change our plans. If it wasn't possible to get a lift with someone between the locations, at least an honest "I'm sorry but we can't accommodate this" would have been nice.

I accept that I booked this night without realizing it was at different locations initially due to my reading issues but I'm disappointed at the lack of communication, considering I chased up the request.

First time attending a Haunting Nights event and it certainly didn’t disappoint. A fantastic experience from start to finish. The team were brilliant, very engaging, entertaining, and great fun throughout. We’ve already booked another ghost hunt and would highly recommend Haunting Nights!

Great value for money, the three guides were very motivated, cheerful and friendly.

It was alright, hosts friendly enough, started on time which is always good, didn’t hear or see anything particularly which isn’t the fault of the company as we all know some places have no activity, we tried the ouji board which would may have picked up something but very off putting when the host kept talking all throughout, we need silence so we can hear any sudden noises, their seemed to be a lack of equipment compared to other companies, no table tipping or many ouji boards to use on our free time and considering the description said tunnels there wasn’t any but we will most likely use this company again

Having used Haunting numbers a number who times at a number of venues, i have never been able to doubt or fault their service.

Absolutely amazing night at The Skirrid Inn, hosts were knowledgeable, professional but also friendly and interactive, making everyone feel involved. The atmosphere was insane, the activity there was unreal, its certainly left a lasting impression, many memories of a wonderful ghosthunt all round. Thankyou so much Haunting Nights, we didnt know what to expect, but you smashed the bar when it comes to ghosthunts, first class in every respect. We will be talking about this night for years to come and have the bug now, looking forward to booking the next one!

My third time with this fantastic company. Although I’m still a sceptic I am edging closer to a believer the more I go on these fantastic hunts. I wouldn’t personally use another company as these are 100% genuine. They make it fun and professional all in the same time. I attend on my own but I never feel alone I feel like I’m part of a family(if you are ever worried attending on your own) Thanks Dave, David and Amy once ago and I will certainly be seeing you once again to edge ever closer

Had an incredible night at Clifton hall last night from start to finish, Dave , David and Amy were fantastic hosts very professional! just a great experience all round. Will definitely book on to another one 👻

Had an amazing time at Clifford Hotel in Birkenhead. David, Amy and Dave were brilliant. We got a lot of activity here too, which always helps. Dave was an excellent host on the evening, giving out the formal information then lightening the mood with funny chat. David and Amy are a lovely couple who really engage well with everyone.

The hosts to this event were absolutely amazing, and the overall experience was definitely very special seen at it was the first ever investigation again this company is absolutely amazing thank you.

Such an amazing night me, my partner and mom did the Cannock chase ghost walk with Sam and Alex. It was such an amazing night and had so much fun, the walk, the history and the ghost hunting was incredible and would highly recommend this walk but also this company. Also Sam, Alex amazing people who are a real credit to the company. Thank you so much we will definitely booking another event with you guy!

We attended the Pendle Hill ghost hunt on the 21st March and unfortunately the evening was extremely disappointing due to a combination of poor organisation, lack of professionalism by the hosts,and a general failure to deliver the experience that noe appears falsey advertised.

To begin with, the night started out on a negative note when we overheard one of your hosts, Mandy, instructing Simon to 'drag it out as long as possible' when directing him to host the ghost tour section of the evening because Bradley had not yet arrived and was running late. This immediately gave the impression that the event was being improvised rather that professionally managed and the hosts couldn't care less about the participants experience.

What follow was an extended 'ghost walk' lasting over 1.5 hours, despite no mention of a walking tour in the event description. If I wanted a ghost tour I would have booked one. I booked the night expecting an actual ghost hunt. To make matters worse, of that time, only around 20 minutes related to the Pendle Witches, with the remainder of the walk and talk consisting of totally unrelated stories. The ghost hunt was actually sold as a Pendle Hill ghost hunt! We wandered aimlessly through the streets which felt it was more to fill time rather than it being a meaningful or relevant experience. It was apparent that the guests were bored and uninterested but the hosts didn't pick up on it or if they did, they didn't care.

When we attempted to ask Mandy about the plan for the evening, she simply walked away. Bradley eventually arrived at around 11:40 around 1hr 40 mins into the event and asked if we wanted to begin ghost hunting, only to then inform us that our first location was a 20 minute drive away.i acknowledge that the description said 'a short drive to base camp' but I wouldn't say a 20 minute drive down narrow, pitch black country roads constitues as a 'short drive'.

At the forest location, we spent an hour with very little guidance or structured investigation. Aside from a very brief seance, there was minimal involvement from the hosts and the equipment provided was limited to Dowsing Rods and a couple of K2 readers. This experience was very disorganised and lacked engagement, a complete waste of time!!

We then had to drive again to a cottage, another disruption to the night! We were asked to park at the very bottom of a hill and walk up the road to a cottage. This road had no street lighting or pavements. The unwelcoming atmosphere continued in the cottage and due to this we ultimately decided to split from the main group to carry out our own investigation upstairs with a few other guests, as this was the only way we felt we could make the most of our time. At no point did the hosts offer help or ask if we needed anything.

The night started to improve from slightly from here but this wasn't through any help from the hosts. We used our own initiative and our own equipment while the rest of the group sat around having refreshments. However, during this time, Bradley eventually came upstairs and rudely instructed our group to be quiet, despite the fact that we were not being excessively loud - especially compared to the noise from the group downstairs!! This interaction was uncalled for and poorly handled.

Later, when our small group were doing a ouija board in the kitchen, Mandy sat on the couch for the entire duration scrolling on her phone showing no enthusiasm or involvement. It was very apparent she didn't want to be there or wanted to interact, further detracting from the experience.

I have never attended a ghost hunt where the hosts have been so rude and uninterested. Bradley frequently used excessive swearing and made repeated insulting remarks towards guests. While these may have been intended as a joke, they were inappropriate, constant and unprofessional. Questions posed by guests regarding the nights plan were avoided or met with vague answers.

The details of the event were a total misrepresentation and was a complete let down.

I emailed the company to express my dissatisfaction and I have not received a reply after sending it a week ago.

If you are looking for an authentic ghost hunting experience avoid this company!!

This group is good in that they keep the number of ghost hunters at any event small. Big groups are usually chaotic. They also are run by people that don’t try to overdo the experience by jumping at every little, fully explainable thing. It’s nice that they let you use their equipment at the end. My friend and I got lots of intelligent response using the K2 when allowed to roam off for free time. The only thing on this occasion that wasn’t good was being left outside for 20 mins past the start in freezing temperatures.

The email stated arrive 15 mins before start time , which everyone did , the temperature was dropping all the time outside it was freezing cold , the door wasn’t unlocked and we were not welcomed in until 8.15 pm . Start time was 8pm . During this time staff were back and fourth to there cars unloading equipment and never once acknowledged there waiting hunters . A simple “ good evening “ would have been nice , but nothing ! We then had a briefing and 30 mins to wander the building to familiarise ourselves with our surroundings . 9pm another “ chat “ and split into groups . An hour of wandering around , listening , and chatting ! 10 pm break time , tea , coffee , squash and snacks . This break dragged on until 10.45pm , people were bored of waiting . One host was more concerned on showing off her dog that she had brought with her ! 10.45 pm another wander around , not much interaction with host , would of been nice if they had done there homework and researched the building beforehand . Another break ! And free time at 12pm we were unaware we could use devices from our hosts until the last minute. So we set off on own to the kitchen , where we had contact with family members and boy whom lives in the house ! Excited 😊 . A host walked through the room after using the toilet in another room , as she passed , we told her our findings , “ oh good “ she relied and carried on walking , she was uninterested and didn’t seem to care . Back for another break ! 1pm at this point we were bored out of our minds , more doggie talk so we decided to call it a night . The host were sat around on the floor and we just got up and left , escorted out by the trustee manager of the house , along with other hunters , around 8 of us left early . I have been to this venue before with other hunting organisation's and had a far better experience , hands on hosts who were polite and engaging , poor show 21/03/2026 , more staff training needed and no dogs!
