Everything went smoothly, staff were very polite, friendly and professional thank you

I booked my MOT and service at Halfords borehamwood , all ok untill they canceled the day before I was due to take car in. I went in to discuss if I can do it on a Saturday they could not do it on a Saturday which was fine. The guy at the front desk was rude and so unhelpful , I felt uncomfortable. They were fixing cars so was confused why they cancelled. I booked in for the following week but felt uneasy about taking it to there so I cancelled. I noticed they took money out of my account even though I never had anything done there in the end. I called they said they will refund me, I even got an email to confirm it. 5 days past still no refund. Called my bank they said they can not see any refund pending. I called up Halfords again the guy on the phone said my refund was not delt with so he said he will do the refund for me which he did . I called Saturday and got it back today . Overall I will not be using Halfords for MOT etc and will not recommend them to anyone.

Went to Halfords Cwmbran store which as an mechanic I’ve spent a lot of money on Halfords professional tools over the years which to be fair last few years they gone to a poorer quality went for a battery for a key yesterday in all fairness the attitude of the guy was poor so for me now I think I’m done with Halfords gone down hill altogether

Excellent customer service as always from the Ilkeston branch. Helpful, knowledgeable and professional staff. I’d recently replaced my fuel cap with a temporary one as it was jammed but the staff checked and refitted it after my MOT and service. So pleased it’s working properly again; plus it’s saved me money! The only reason they haven’t got 5 stars is because I was unable to book online (and the online quote was less than the phone quote). This is not a bad reflection on the Ilkeston team but it would be helpful if this technical issue was resolved

I had a MOT and full service on an EV at Chichester Autocentre on Friday October 2, drop-off at 10am. The helpful staff there sorted it out, repaired a faulty seatbelt (which had caused an MOT fail first time around) free of charge and, with Premium membership, it all came to less than £200. All very satisfactory! However, I had had a very different experience attempting to book the appointment online. The problem started because the Halford's booking webpage defaulted to a car which was scrapped six months ago, and which I deleted from my list of “My Vehicles” at the same time. However, I was unable to find any means of editing the car to be serviced; trying to do so was very frustrating and time consuming. So I tried an online chat. The agent booked me an appointment, but I had not made it clear that I wished the car to be serviced as well as MOT’d. Okay, mea culpa. When the email confirming the appointment arrived it was for an MOT only. To correct this, I made the mistake of telephoning the “helpline”. The first agent I spoke to merely informed me I had selected the wrong options and told me to ring again and choose the option number she gave me. Very helpful. So I tried again. The second agent I spoke to completely confused me, assuring me the Autocentre I wished to book (Chichester branch, which I have used many times) did not have “the parts” (if I understood her correctly) to perform the service, despite the fact that Chichester Autocentre MOT’d and serviced the same vehicle without any difficulty last year. At this point it was clear I was getting nowhere, and asked the agent to cancel the appointment, which she did. I then did what I clearly should have done at the beginning of the ordeal and rang Chichester Autocentre directly. They booked in the MOT and service straight away at the time I requested. Simple. I subsequently received a confusing email telling me only an MOT was booked, I'm guessing a hangover from the original incorrect booking, but again a call to Chichester confirmed the appointment that I was expecting. I also had a helpful message from Lewis via Facebook Messenger explaining how to edit that car being booked in online. So I shall be using Halford's again, just not sure which means of booking I shall try first next time!

After visitting the Stockton on tees store and asking for advice the help we were given was exemplary ,all the staff were polite ,empathetic , helpful and professional ,don't ever hesitate to visit this store ,10/10 In all aspects ,they were all amazing and an asset to the company

Do not trust Halfords in Huddersfield! very bad experienced!! do not recommand! overly charged and they did not fix the issue even, when i went back they said that was a new issue and tried to charge me again crazy money!!! not competent and overly charged

Had a service at this location, the person who dealt with me was very friendly and helpful on explaining everything to me before and afterwards. I would give a 5 star rating but this time and a previous time I have left my car with the branch they say that they will ring when they have finished with my car but they have not and I am left wondering what’s happening until I phone them which is a little frustrating! Being a part of the motoring club has helped me save a lot of money though and been excellent so can’t fault that at all

I have Halford membership. I had free 10 check points check forward to MOT to be ready for any issues, could make my free MOT appointment by phone with real person, quickly and in my full convinience in time and closest location without rounding with bots. I passed MOT, was called in person to collect my car.
If I have any issues during year I can take second free ten check point test.
I asked to explain combi drill options in the Autoshop, could get immediate clear explanations.
I am with Halford for years and always happy and fully satisfied. I will recommend Halford Autocentrs for all local people.

I was really happy with the service from Halfords when buying tyres and having my tyre pressure monitor repaired. The staff were friendly, polite and explained the process of fixing the computer problem. From booking my appointment to driving away, the service was great. I would recommend Halfords for the service l received.
