First time leaving a review, but I feel like I have to.
I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Goyard has been disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be shared.
I purchased a wallet and handbag, spending close to $8,000 thinking it was a long-term investment. Within just two months, the wallet’s clip broke. When I contacted their after-sales service, I was referred to their Hong Kong office and dealt with someone named Kenji. The only repair option offered was to ship the item overseas at my expense—with no real assurance that the same item would be returned to me. There was no local support, and overall, no real help offered.
As for the purchase experience itself, it was far from pleasant. I felt judged from the moment I walked in. The staff gave off the impression that if you don’t look like their “ideal” customer, you don’t belong there. They even checked to confirm that my credit card was actually mine—as if someone like me couldn’t possibly afford their products.
Goyard used to be considered a premium brand, but the quality and customer service just don’t reflect that anymore. I’ll be selling my items once they’re repaired.
If you’re thinking of buying from Goyard, I’d strongly suggest reconsidering. Just don't be the fool idiot like me that waited in line all for the rubbish product!
